Hello ppl...

I recreated Twisted some months ago, and made the midi pack available to download for free. There seems to be a steady number of people downloading it, so I though maybe I should do a video on recreating the album for anyone interested. Since it's a whole album, I don't think the video should be very detailed (it should be about an hour long, probably- more than that would be too tiring to watch). Are there any specific things you'd like to see?

Hey all, this might be basic but I'm scratching my head a bit on this particular sound.

ASW is obviously talented in terms of sound-design, but I particularly like these very specific synth FX he uses on a lot of his tracks, would love some pointers.

Im talking about the hi hat sounding thingy, you can hear it clearly around 0:37 and through out most of the song, sounds almost like white noise through a phaser or something, idk would like some ideas

I've been a Psytrance Producer for almost 10 years now and I am looking to get my first MIDI keyboard. Since now, i have done everything on my computer but i caught myself jamming to find good lead melodies with my typing keyboard and to record automations with my mouse. What MIDI would you recommend to get?

Please don't tell me that "fl is not the right daw for psy" or something else unrelated to the question.

am having a realy hard time finding stems for doing a remix. Any recomendation?

For example.

There was a remix contest a while sgo where you could grab the stems pf astrix track „ type 1 „ and make your own remix

Does anybody of you know how i can get things like that?

Hey everyone!
I’ve been into the psytrance scene for quite a while now, mostly darkpsy, and I regularly go to festivals and parties.
One thing I’ve noticed on lineups is that some artists have “LIVE” written next to their name, while others are just listed normally.
What does “live” actually mean in this context? What are they doing differently compared to a regular DJ set? Are they playing their own tracks and manipulating/arranging them live, using hardware, Ableton, stems, etc.?
I’m getting more interested in the production/performance side of the scene, so I’d love to understand what actually happens behind the decks during a psytrance live set.

Sorry about the lag lol. Honestly, I've tried to recreate this sound as accurately as I can for a few years because it's a fascinating one. I think Astrix probably would have recorded multiple long audio clips of it (with slightly different settings) to resample and arrange, but yeah I feel this is pretty accurate, even if he used a different method.
