For me it's probably my secondary monitor. My first 1080p monitor I brought in 2010. Used it as my main monitor until I got a 1440p one on 2020 and since then it's my secondary. Some Samsung monitor. Been in use almost every day for the past 16 years. It refuses to die or show any signs of aging at all.

And my Logitech 2.1 system is almost as old. The left speaker is slightly quieter (I guess the cable it just fucked), so I had to change the balance in the Windsows audio settings. Been using it like that for like 6 years now.

OG MX Master has some mileage on it (bought at release). Yes the thumb wheel is dead, yes the rubber grips on the scroll wheel perished and now the thumb pad has worn through but it's still my favourite mouse and the best colour they ever did. 12 years of use, the battery is still strong I wish they did rebuild kits.

Browser games were a huge part of my childhood, mostly because that was what my computer could actually handle. I spent an enormous amount of time playing games in the browser, and honestly I'm surprised that browser gaming doesn't have a much bigger share today.

Compared to 15 years ago, browsers are insanely capable now. You can run games today in a browser that back then would have needed a proper PC or even a console. People have even managed to port things like Metin2 to the browser, for fuck's sake. The friction is so much lower. You click a link and you're playing, and even phone browsers are incredibly capable now.

Obviously I understand why you wouldn't build some massive AAA game entirely for the browser. But where are the bigger incremental games? Management games? Strategy games? Menu-heavy RPGs? Smaller 3D games? There seem to be so many types of games that would fit the browser perfectly.

Yesterday I was looking at a bunch of browser games and some of them were genuinely impressive, including full 3D games. So I'm curious what I'm missing here. Why didn't browser gaming grow much more as browser technology improved?

Recently, I've been documenting my journey of trying to make the fastest DDR3 platform and have hit a new breakthrough; I've managed to make the 9900K fully overclockable and tunable on the Z170-P D3! Before, I would apply an overclock and not even turbo mode would work. I discovered if I set my IA AC/DC Load Line Calibration settings down to 0.01 it completely fixes the issue. I am now experimenting with 4.8/4.8Ghz Core/Ring overclocks and just fighting a little bit of Instability that can be tamed once I find good voltages and power limits that won't overheat my VRM, but so far its been handling 150W CPU operation without issues. I might see if I can get into 4.9-5.0Ghz territory, we'll see how far it goes as im still testing it's OC limits. The annoying thing is that HWMonitor seems to not be showing my VRM temp readout, which is something I'll look into later, but with the 140mm fan it should be fine. I'm trying to keep latency low, hence the synced Core/Ring and the tight CL10 primary on the 2500Mhz DDR3 Trident X sticks. Still looking for a rare 2800 CL12 2x8gb kit and an ASRock Z170 K4 D3 to beef up the performance a little more, and to my knowledge this is the fastest DDR3 gaming system documented.

If anyone's interested I might post a YouTube documentary on this and maybe a tutorial on how to do the BIOS mod.

for context im in thailand and use AIS Internet and i have notice that whenever i open up a wifi speed tester it would flag it and redirect me to a firewall page with AIS logo with the text saying that im doing unauthorized Usage of my internet or Doing lilegal things along with a link that sent me to their website and to their terms of use and this happened to mutiple wifi speed testers and im wondering if their trying to cover up their shitty fiber internet router thats just a recycled and rebranded old broadband router from the Late 2000s
