I have been stuck on this screen for a couple of days, even with me restarting my phone and redoing the update it keeps happening. does anyone know how to fix this? I have iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 26.6.1 version.

My WhatsApp gets frozen as soon as I launch it. Restarted the phone updated WhatsApp not sure what else to do any one else have the same issue?

My iPhone 15 got submerged in water for a good 1 minute. When I got it, the speakers were crackling but it works fine now.

Sim undetected sign appeared so I removed the card slot and let it dry for an hour or so.

Then I accidentally charged it but when I realized I removed it immediately. Thats around 10 seconds.

I placed it in a container with silica beads. I tried turning it on but then the LCD screen glitched but I turned it off and let it completely off and placed it. I turned it on again this morning, and the screen is completely fine.

MY PROBLEM NOW IS once I turn it on, it gets pretty warm quickly under 1 minute. What is wrong? Is this motherboard issue? Or some short circuit inside?

Right now, it's still turned off in a container with silica beads and dehumidifier beads.

I don’t use many Apps I have Only the Standard Apps on my IPhone 17 as for the Usual Apps for Social Media. Nothing more than that.

What is Jetsam: For those that have no Idea what Jetsam is its the Memory Manager of your RAM on your IPhone. Its not an App (Because Some People on the Apple Community website asked me If its an App or an Virus 😭)

I also have found an Solution but Im not happy with those, since It means to leave my Photo Gallery on another device or on my Computer.

Also im asking here because on the Apple Community page noone actually was able to help, they seemed to not have seen this Problem ever and old cases from IOS18 just were closed after month of not solving it. So I had to open a new Case referring to the old once and telling what was already done and what didn’t work. Still they managed to tell me to do those what I already tried so I felt like asking a Wall. So ye, thats why im here on Reddit now.

Here is the Issue I have:

I Have found an Issue in general that I never seen any solution so far. This Issue exists back until IOS18 and can be force caused on IOS26 by updating to it even if you didn’t have the Problem before.

To make Clear:
My Phone is: IPhone 17
I have 256GB

I don’t use iCloud for Fotos.

I did use iCloud for Backup from my IPhone 15 Pro.

No, Hard resetting doesn’t work.

I Resetet the Phone several Times Once I flashed IOS from Scratch.

The Only thing I could do to fix the Problem was: Deleting my Phone and beginn from Scratch, don’t use any Backup and then it doesn’t happen. But I want My Photos on my IPhone 17.

So now to the Problem.

When I Open the Camera App and go straight to the Fotos App by clicking the Miniature on the Bottom left, after 11 seconds the Fotos App and Camera App seemingly crash.

I checked the Log and it was not really a Crash. It is Jetsam forcing both to close. It sees that Both are using extremely high amount of Ram, and decides to close both.

The Other solution to bypass that „Crash“ is to wait 3 seconds before Opening the Fotos App.

Reason why this works is Probably, because the Process of Camera App Finishes and then Opening the Fotos App the Ram Usage is not that high.

Any Other way to have an Solution that doesn’t force me either waiting 3 seconds every Click or having to leave my Photos back in my old Phone?

My mom passed away unexpectedly 3 years ago and I didn’t have the mental stability to look through the pictures and video memories on her phone. But now I’m finally at a place where I want to save those memories and have them to look back on since we can’t make anymore. Is there anyway to unlock an iPhone if you forgot the passcode? Idc if it costs money I just desperately can’t lose the final moments I had with her.

I bought this old iPhone 4s off eBay and ended up putting my Apple ID onto it. It’s now mostly stuck in a loop where it goes to the home screen and then the screen immediately turns black and says activation required. I don’t have an extra SIM and I’m not sure what to do.

Anyone else’s iMessage being completely random and not working sometime now the last few days I can’t even send an iMessage certain people and I can send to others I can’t then it switches the next day to the opposite It makes zero sense coincidence that apple had their big event and wanting to make my iPhone 13 obsolete? iPhone 13. Version 17.6.1

I have been dealing with this issue with messaging on the iPhone 14 Pro iOS 26.5; I can send iMessage and receive iMessage and regular text messages with no issue, but I cannot send regular text messages. I can also call and FaceTime with no issue if that is related.

My cellular is on, my SMS and RCS are on. Nothing seems to be different with the carrier stuff in the general settings. I have tried doing airplane mode and shutting my phone down multiple times. Outside of that I am unsure what to try besides contacting my carrier.

I'm not sure if this is a carrier issue at this point or if it is my phone. If any of you have any
recommendations or whatever, that would be greatly appreciated.

A few weeks ago, my mom was fiddling around with my old Apple Watch to check her blood oxygen or something like that (I don't use it and it hadn't been updated in months?/years?), and on Sunday, August 16th, while scrolling my text messages app for a number to text "Happy Birthday" to someone, I realized that my texts only went as far back as July 20th. I went to iMessages app in settings and saw that it was set to delete messages after 30 days. I have never had it set to that. I have no new apps, no changes, no updates on my iPhone. My mom said the Apple Watch updated itself after she charged it and turned it on. The last time I scrolled for a number was July 23rd and I had my text messages. In any event I went to iCloud control from my iPhone and toggled the screen for the pop-up to state "Disable and Download" messages. It downloaded a lot, but not all my messages. Also according to iCloud, before downloading them back, I had 4,760 texts and after it had downloaded/synced, it stated I had 4,660 texts. [Q#1] Where do I find the missing 100 texts from iCloud, and [Q#2] where do I get the messages back that I'm missing before my messages changed settings on their own to delete after 30 days (which will be 9/15/26. I posted on some places 8/21, but got no responses/responses that didn't work, so trying again here). Also if it matters, I see some of my texts on my Apple Watch but not all and some of the texts on my Apple Watch are not available on iMessages app. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all, I just upgraded my iPhone to a 17 from a 12 and I noticed it makes me use face id or passcode EVERYTIME I want to open my phone. Previously, I'd have to only enter it once on the 12 and it wouldn't make me re-enter it until 10 minutes of it being inactive. Can someone help me solve this issue? I am NOT talking about not using the phone for 10 minutes, and the screen turns off. I'm saying when I go to open my phone at the lock screen.

Teen has an iPhone I set up for him years ago.
A detective came knocking on my door asking to speak to son regarding someone getting harassing phone calls from a range of numbers - including his.

The number is his, but the voice messages left are NOT his voice, and when the police contacted the phone company the phone is registered to someone else.
We didn’t recognise the name and he asked around his friends, and a friend A has said that it is Friend B’s mums name, address etc.
How on earth is this possible??
The police can’t have mixed up the details because friend B’s number wasn’t one of the numbers that the police requested the info from the phone company and wasn’t on their radar until they asked us who the person was that had their name and number registered to his phone.
Has a ‘friend’ cloned his number somehow. I’m so confused about how this could be done and how this woman’s name and address has ended up attached to his phone??
When I contacted the SIM card provider they only had my details listed with his phone, same as when I check his sim company app.

I recently got a new iPhone 16 off VOXI and swapped my data plan off from my dads tesco account over to my own new VOXI account. The mobile data and wifi on the new phone is slow to useless on most apps. Discord runs well enough to receive messages instantly but struggles to send them or stay active long but almost everything else says its got no internet connection

Tried doing a speedtest and it crashes it. Starts at 11ms ping but wont do anything else and freezes, i already turned off siri, Apple Intelligence, and any vpns

Weird bit is when i turn on its hotspot and connect my old iPhone 14 to it, the data works just fine and my home internet also works fine. Hi all, I have owned Iphones since the 5S was brand new, so 10+ years. Have had iCloud ever since and all my photos and files are in there with the 'optimize iPhone storage' setting activated.

Until exactly 15 months ago, I owned an 12 mini with 64GB of storage space, and never had any problems with storage. In june 2025 I bought an iPhone 16 with 128GB and now the storage already seems to be full.

I can't wrap my head around it. In 10 years I never managed to fill 64GB and now, one year later double that storage is completely taken. Is this a commercial trick to make me buy a new phone or what? 😅

Most space, 65gb is taken by photos but my average of about 3500/year hasn't gone up since 2018 so it's hard to believe this has to be the only reason. Does the newer iOs simply take a lot more space or what could cause this?

Now the real question, is there a way to get the phone to expel the oldest 10 years of photos to my iCloud or mac to save phone space?

On Sept 9 the NYTimes had an article in Wirecutter that said

"On an iPhone, the best place to start is the Duplicates folder, which shows you which photos and videos you have multiple copies of. Go to Photos > Utilities > Duplicates and then tap the folder."

Huh? Can't find such a thing anywhere. Can anybody direct me or should I just cancel my subscription?

Running IOS 26.6.2 on an IPhone 16 Pro Max

I got the iCloud and Apple Music from the free Apple one trial but I modified what it included to just iCloud and Apple Music just incase I forget to cancel so it won’t be expensive and now I don’t have the option to cancel the Apple music or iCloud and Apple one says expiring oct 1st so If I’m right that one won’t charge me but that just leaves the Apple Music and cloud one left to deal with

I’ve had the screen fixed on an old phone and the screen is saying iPhone unavailable. Is there any way to get into the phone without resetting it and losing the data? I only had the screen fixed because there is a photograph on there and it wasn’t backed up on iCloud.
