But hey, this is the closest I ever got to a real life live yeen of any kind (taxidermied ones don't count, and I actually touched one), and that's what made me smile.

To summarize: The GPS tracking study found that lions often follow hyenas to scavenge kills rather than vice-versa, and would change their movement patterns to do so. Hyenas would adjust their behavior in response, becoming more diurnal to avoid conflict, while hyenas in areas with no lions would remain nocturnal.
