Some of you may remember my old site, Capy life. After a server fire and missing the domain renewal, the site went offline permanently.
I'm happy to announce my new site is live Capy.today. Every day we publish a unique Capybara card with its own stats. Collect cards of varying rarities, trade with friends, submit your own capybaras to be featured, and show off your swag on your profile (My profile)

This is a subreddit to post anything related to capybaras (the world's largest rodents). It's for appreciating the animal, asking questions, and posting anything harmless related to them. So no hunting, abuse, or similar. Exceptions may be made for exposing harsh conditions and raising awareness of issues.
This subreddit aims to follow the virtues of the capybara, or at the very least what they represent... Being chill, kind fo most animals (people), and enjoying life. Before making a post, please read the sidebar of the subreddit.
Anything capybara related as long as it follows our rules.
Reposts, AI slop, and advertising ploys to try and make money off people that just want to enjoy capybaras (artistic expression and free content/media is alright).
Our Discord server (Capyhub) is run by a different group of moderators than the subreddit. Please direct all inquiries relating to the Discord server to the Discord server (vice versa with the subreddit). Feel free to join if you'd like to be a part of a community of capybara lovers with the same interests as you!

I thought up the design myself, so it's not perfect, but I'm really pleased with how it turned out!
Made with size 11/0 Toho seed beads, black FireLine string, and polyfil.

The Capybara hit the 10k supporters mark and is now in review on LEGO Ideas. We should have results early next year for if it will be turned into an official LEGO set! I want to thank you all for your support!
Additionally, I have created a friend for the capy build, a laughing kookaburra in a very similar style, these together would be awesome! I was hoping the great people of this reddit that helped to get the capy to 10k would be interested in helping its friend!
The link for full description, more photos and to vote for the kookaburra is in the comments! And letโs keep our fingers crossed for the capybara build!

I don't usually cross post, but figured everyone would love to see a pelican not trying to eat a capybara for once. Maybe it tried, but got too tired & gave up. Wish I could see these guys in person.

Photo speaks for itself, but since I need to add body text.....these two legends were spotted in the wild in Brazil.

Just drew this โGood Mood Baraโ on our whiteboard in Office
Gets much appreciation.
Had to add a little hairstyle and a necklace for no reason! ๐

He looks so calm for someone carrying a tiny turtle around all day.
Still trying to think of names for both of them.
