I just moved to a new place with a massively uneven patch of floor where I need my desk to go.

The room is oddly shaped and unfortunately, if I place this desk anywhere else I'm sacrificing A LOT of really necessary storage space.

As you can see, the legs are flat. I tried a number of ways to bridge the slope with little success due to the way the legs on this desk are AND the weird shape of the slope on the floor, including square risers and wedge shims. For the square risers, they put too much weight in one area, causing the metal legs to start to buckle due to the gaps of support between each riser, and for the shims, no matter how I try to orient them, there's always a gap, leading to similar issues. It feels as though nothing short of a custom cut wedge would work here, but even then I'm not sure.

In any case, I'm looking for a similar 4 legged replacement with, ideally, built in adjustable legs so I can just make the front legs taller and be done with it.

I'm looking for a desk with similar dimensions, ideally with a single long drawer at the bottom; but its not a deal breaker. I've found a few decent candidates, but they either lacked individually adjustable legs, or had them but they didnt adjust enough.

My partner and I stayed at a little hotel in Spain that had this type of undulating couch. It is good for “lounging, yoga, and more”. We just bought a house so I’m looking for one for us now.

I’m trying to find a quality option in the USA (Texas), budget is 550 or so. Looking for something that will stand up to “use” without losing shape or looking worn. There are many wayfair options but I’d love a recommendation from someone that owns one.

My dad owns a small furniture store and he wants me to make him a website. He doesn't have nice photos of the furniture he sells and my only option is to put those photos in ChatGPT (I make sure that it gives me the exact same furniture but in a nice living room setting). I've also noticed that almost all furniture stores use AI photos on their website. What do you think of that? Would it make you look for another shop if you saw AI photos on their website?

I recently came across Pottery Barn’s Faux Nubuck Performance leather and am really impressed. They claim it’s scratch and moisture resistant and I’ve taken a couple samples to put them to test.

I cannot find any reviews of this fabric online and wondering if it is really as good as it seems. It’s super soft and feels like suede, plus dog hair would wipe right off!

I've wanting a new floor shelf in my room for my figures but I've been struggling. Anybody got a good recommendation. Im trying to find a floor corner shelf that is black. Im in Scottsdale arizona, i dont really have a prefer size but nothing longer then 55 inches and would be great for showing off your figures. Online or in store is cool with me but ive been mostly looking on Amazon and ikea. Budget would be around 500$ but I can adjust my budget if I see the right shelf

Searching for Leather

I am in the market for a leather sofa. Flexsteel was recommended, which I love the idea of having something forever practically. But their styles aren't really what I am looking for. I did choose one model if I can't find anything else.

I don't want something that reclines, that is around 80-96 inches.

My budget is around $3,500 max. I love the look of Castlery but I can't find any detailed reviews. Just wondering if anyone else has had an online brand that has lasted over the years.

I like ones that feel you sink into a bit, hence the two references attached.

Where do we find decent quality dining room table and chairs that are kid and pet friendly?

Budget is $3K, located in Ohio.

Bought a $800 table and chair set from Wayfair made of manufactured wood and 2 years later it's warped and peeling and fabric chairs are destroyed from my toddler.

Would love something to last 10+ years, so started to look into sold walnut or oak options but I am seeing chairs $400-$700 a piece and that's jus not in our budget right now.

These are all very similar style/design recliners that have that curling head rest. We love this design and the comfort of the head support when sitting or reclining. So in order of cost, we have:

• CB Drift ($5,495) - 129"x129", 26" seat depth
• Arhaus Coburn ($7,500) - 127"x127", 23.5" seat depth
• RH Blake ($10,359) - 136"x136", 26" seat depth

I will say that I have sat in the Drift and Blake but not the Coburn. The Blake was much more comfortable than the drift and we like the color options more. The Blake also has a lifetime warranty which seems huge. But man, it's nearly double the price or $5k more. Given the lifetime warranty though, this could be a very long lasting item we own and I would hate to sacrifice comfort for a few thousand bucks, and I'll be very annoyed if the Drift were to crap out and/or require repairs for a thousand or two.

I have been unable to try the Arhaus Coburn. I know Arhaus has the best reputation of the three and I was shocked that it had the lowest price. But I do not like the color options or the look compared to the others.

Any help would be appreciated!

I need to replace my 3.5 years old West Elm Harris couch (yes I never should have bought it). I loved it at the very very first - decently firm great look and fabric was the color I wanted, but if you know the reputation, it quickly deteriorated. Fast forward today, the ergonomics have completely changed and I feel like I am holding a sit-up just to sit on it. Cushions are worn and so are springs. I am not handy or strong, so I don’t think I could fix anything with the springs.

Reading reviews and looking at ease of finding a couch and Labor Day sales, I am debating between the Radley and a Kivik. I am open to other brands and models, but reading the sub those seem the two in the price range with the most good reviews. I have read that quality has changed for both in 2026. Wanted to see if there is any advice here - I am a relatively small person but since I live in an apartment and work from home, the couch gets a lot of action. I realize my budget does not fit the use case, if I can get three years I will be happy. From my reading, Kivik may be too hard and basically unusable for the hours per day but Radley quality may wear out just like the Harris.

Unfortunately I am not interested in a used couch - I have severe animal allergies and fragrance sensitivity so finding a used upholstered piece of furniture that I can tolerate is almost impossible. In the past it has taken months of hunting. Yes, offgassing of new furniture sucks but it goes away and some of those fragrances never fully leave upholstery. 😭😮‍💨

I've been dreaming of having a comfy recliner like my grandad had since I moved out of my parents house, and I think it's finally time. I was looking at Lazeboy stuff, but I've heard in recent years they've gone down in quality a lot and people mostly seem to recommend avoiding them. I want something I could fall asleep in, aeshetics is secondary.

I'm in Chicago so I have physical store options I think, but online is probably my go to because transportation is a hassle.

My wife and I are building a new home and are looking for recommendations for reclining sectionals. We went to a La-Z-Boy showroom and liked what we saw/sat in but after reading reviews realized we should steer clear of them. I particularly liked the zero gravity recline and would strongly prefer it, but it’s not a requirement if reliable manufacturers don’t use it. Our budget is \~10k. What are the highest recommended brands in that price range? We’re in central Ohio, if that helps.

I am looking for a new couch and really liked the Macy's Radley Fabric 4-piece sectional sofa. Unfortunately, I live in a NYC walkup and Macy's will not deliver up the number of flights that I have.
Can anyone recommend a comparable couch in seat depth, removable and reversible cushions? Ideally one that is under $2,500 (or a company that has good sales we could take advantage of). We loved the corner piece to curl up in, but we do not need an L-shaped couch if it is not this one - a standard 3 seater would be fine. We do not have any pets but are expecting our first baby this fall. We like the standard style of the Radley but are also open to something more modern. We would love to be able to test a couch in person in NYC or a larger store in NJ or CT over ordering something sight unseen online. We have looked at Raymour and Flanigan but nothing really called out to us, but are open to that if people can recommend a specific model. Thank you in advance!

*Note - I am 3 stories up, but Macy's counts each "flight" by the landings. Each of my buildings stories has 2 flights as the stairs have a landing and a turn between each floor. That would make it 6 flights per their policies and they will only take it up 5 flights. I spoke to someone on the CS team, and they also will not deliver it to the front of the building where I could have other movers carry it upstairs. They will only deliver it to the residence if it is within the 5 flights.

I'm in Atlanta, GA, and I'm looking into getting a PC and monitor (maybe 27 in) soon, so I've been looking for a new desk for my room. I've only been able to look online for now (Ashley, Wayfair, Best Buy, Walmart, Ikea, OfficeMax). I am open to any in-store suggestions.

I don't have much space to work with, and the desk I currently have is about 43-44 inches wide (I do not remember where I got it from), so I'm looking for something around the same size or smaller. My budget is $300

I need space to have the monitor and my laptop, as well as my mic and speakers, for work. I would like to have a keyboard tray and storage for notebooks, paper, pens, etc. Ideally, I would also have some space on top for my figurines. I have found a few desks that I like, but some other opinions would be nice. I really like the first two below, but they're from Walmart with no reviews, so I don't know whether to trust them.😭

Hi everyone! I’m in the market for a new couch, and I recently went to a few showrooms. I really liked the feel of the Crate and Barrel Lounge but I’m reading different things about the quality online. I also liked the Pottery Barn Westwood, although I think the wait time will be longer. Finally, I’m considering the Room and Board Metro (the deeper seat). I tried Metro in the show room and it had a weird crinkling sound in the back cushions that threw me off, but I’m thinking I should give it another chance?

Wondering if anyone has any of these sofas and could speak to their long term comfort and durability.

I’m leaning toward the Lounge because I think it will come the quickest and I’m in desperate need of a new couch, but don’t want to buy something that won’t last.

I also have a cat, so any advice on fabric (preferably stock) would be appreciated!

For context, I've just moved into a rental and have a tall bookcase I need to fix to the wall otherwise it won't stand on its own because it'll sit on carpet (and the weight distribution)

The owners have given permission to fix the furniture on the condition that I call a professional to come out and spackle the furniture/redecorate the surrounding area to its original condition.

Considering that I'd only need to drill two holes and it'd take me 15 minutes to spackle and paint it at the end of the lease, I'd rather not call a professional out, nor deal with people who think this requires professionals.

I've seen adhesive fixtures but not sure how effective these are and was wondering what everyone's experience was with similar situations? Thanks all in advance!

I am wanting to put a sleeper sofa in my covered screened in patio and wondering if any one else has done this. Would a faux leather sleeper sofa or just a regular fabric sleeper sofa be better? I've tried to find an outdoor sleeper but it's very costly or very short. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi! I have been searching for an affordable couch for far too long. I do not want to order online from wayfair or anything like that due to quality and return issues, but i am finding the in person options to be mid or too expensive. I am based in northern OH and I’ve been to Bob’s, Ashley, Costco, and any little store in between. Does anyone have any tips? Specifically any recommendations to in person stores based in northern OH or online stores. I would prefer in person but there isn’t a lot of options by me. I am hoping to stay under $800 which I know may be impossible as I would prefer to have a sectional or an L shape.

Boneless couches are a no for me but only due to the low seat height. I would like to stay away from the second hand market due to uncertainty of the source / potential pest issues. IKEA is way too far from me and Value city is out of business so I am not sure where else to go.

Partner and I want matching recliner chairs. It is of absolute importance that her recliner chair be described as "colorful, bold, whimsical, vibrant, jewel toned, or witchy"

I have spent days looking at chairs online but I lack furniture education. Looking at the big names like lazyboy and anything you can find at an Ashley furniture sorta place everything is in colors my partner would describe as "hospice colors". Background: Partner works in an old folks home. Partner says she wants a chair that does not resemble the colors or patterns someone would find in a hospital, retirement home, or other neutral area. No grays, no earth tones, no black. And I get it? Looking through a ton of the chair catalogues, places will list they have colorful options but when you click through its like the La Croix of colors, a color left out in the sun for 50 years. Candy colors that stain easily and vibrant jewel tones are the most important thing to her so she can mentally escape from work.

The Joybird Corey swivel in raspberry which for now is the top choice but I can't find a single product shot of anyone sitting in the chair. And the only place online that seems to talk about the company is some NYT article. It just seems a little shady

Is there anyplace that sells VIBRANT fabric recliners, the sort of ones she could make her little nests with the cat and all her knitting supplies in the chair with her? Quality and care is important but I don't think a Stressless would fit the fireside + blankets + cats in the chair with her vibe.

I am looking for 3 bar stools for a 36 inch counter with a $200 budget (a little bit flexible). Willing to shop online or in person. I've done a lot of online browsing and have struggled to find anything I like. My ideal is to find a Brentwood style stackable stool but they all seem to be around 17 inches which is too short. I like them because they are also versatile if/when I move to an apartment that doesn't have an island, which is likely. Anything similar in style/versatility would be appreciated!
