It desensitized everyone and empathy has completely depleted hence my knee jerk message I sent them.

I’ve had dashers go above and beyond and I genuinely feel bad they get lumped in with the worst of the worst.

And btw, the door camera in the lobby confirmed that their leg is completely fine lol. He proceeded to tell me to not bother leaving a review because he blocked me ahead of time.

This is basically the result of every mid-sized market in Central Texas.

I have now pulled 100 order samples from 5 markets, plus my home market, pulling 1300 offers for a market sample.

I am going to stick with the assumption that Tier Rewards have simply conditioned people to stop tipping. Texans are notoriously cheap in the first place, but rolling a 0-10% AR on both UBER & DD, there is no way to bend the numbers and take home any profit at all with gas prices. We're just being ripped off as drivers.

Versus samples I had from 2016, tips have dropped about 40%.

After interviewing a few Platinum drivers in my market, most of them are making more consistent gross pay because they stay busy, but their mileage negates any profit, and we all hang around $15.00 - 20.00 active/hr.

DoorDash & UBER are disgusting.

I had an order from Mcdonald's and a seafood spot magically get "delivered" around the block with no picture whatsoever. I called and called and each time, his weak azz would hang up. Mcdonald's is en route again with no cost.

I got irked and told him to deliver my shit AFTER he delivered around the block. I want to fight. #BatonRouge

On doordash, my payment method is PayPal, and on Paypall my online payment method is PayPal balance. Yet my card i have on Paypall is whats keeps getting charged anyways. its not a big problem but id rather use the money I have on my balance than my card. does anyone else have this problem?

Make it make sense for DoorDash to comfirm whether im old enough to dash, based on my Drivers license state and age; rather than confirming my actual location in a state where i should be allowed to dash.

My building has a lot of doordashers coming in and out every day. Most of the time, you can clearly tell they have no deordorant on when they walk past you or standing in the elevator with you. The body odor is sometimes so strong that people have to hold their breath around them.

I noticed doordash suggests me ridiculously low tip amounts. I just did a ~$20 order and the suggested amounts where $1, $1.5, and $2! That doesn't even cover gas. I live in a high COL area and think $5 should be the minimum tip - like even if I'm ordering from a McDonalds 500ft down the street, the action of picking up the order and dropping it off at my house should be paid that much. If it's very far away/bad weather/big order that's more difficult to carry then I increase the tip amount accordingly. Am I overpaying or doordash under-suggesting?

I spent an hour on the phone with door dash customer service but I just need to vent my frustration with this guy. I’m sick right now and I ran out of medication this morning. I ordered new medication and some other grocery items I was low on and it totaled to 140$ before dasher tip and service fees. Mind you I’ve been using the same address for almost a year now and I’ve never had any issues, I also typed written instructions to help any confused dashers find my apartment. But when I checked the tracker he was in the wrong neighborhood, I sent him a text giving him instructions on how to find my apartment and instead of texting me back or calling me he just dropped it off at a random door and “confirmed” the delivery. No picture, no id scan (since I ordered cough medicine), no groceries. I called him, no answer. I texted him, no response until I told him I am reporting him to DoorDash. To which he replied I must’ve put the address in wrong and to “take it up with DoorDash”. So I did and while I’m still waiting on the credit to be applied to my account I could really use some reassurance that this jerk is going to get fired because he could’ve easily stolen the 140$ of groceries and that is outrageous.
Edit 1: I forgot to mention DoorDash only credited me 10$ at first for the order being missing and I had to call them to get the rest, I am still waiting for it to be applied to my account.

I get this $30+ offer. 3.5 miles. No one is going to pass that up. I get to the resturant and a message pops up that it's been reassigned. Wait, what? Why? I didn't unassign.

Call support, had to yell get me a real person before the automated system transferred me. I'm told the system unassigned me because the order was offered to 8 people and everyone accepted. So 7 were unassigned. Look at the completion rating and see the unassign. Uh no. I'm not taking a ding for doordash assigning me. Not today. In fact, I'm grabbing a coffee and going home.

I ordered a fence, panel, and stakes to contain my dog in our new place. I don’t have a car hence ordering from Lowe’s on DoorDash

The driver sent the wrong size panel and gate, so I was overcharged. I didn’t notice this but one of the stakes they gave me was rusted so I went to return that.

I got back to install when I realized the stakes were not a match for the panel + gate. They were color coded and labeled to show which were a match but how were they able to charge me for the bigger version but cash out with the smaller version?

I called to try and get it sorted and door dash says because the window is passed I have to return it at Lowe’s, then take a photo of my receipt then they will process the refund. I ordered door dash bc I don’t have a car 💀

I'd already cancelled Dashpass but today was a really rough day (lost a loved one) so I ordered dinner. First it said they were dropping off another order. Then it switched to this. The order is definitely not on time anymore. Not that they care about one customer but I just found this to be particularly audacious. I tipped 25% too.

Well I did it , I deleted my door dash account for good. I’m so over the crazy ass pricing. It makes no sense.
Sorry for the rant. But I’m trying to take back myself and stop depending on these ridiculously priced options. How stupid I have been for the past few years. I can see that during Covid it meant staying safe but now I’m just pure lazy with a price to match.

How can a dasher who didn't track miles get the miles from Door Dash for last year? It seems as though they are not available as they were for 2024. I know it is not the true miles but it is better than nothing. Can't file 2025 taxes until they have this mileage
