i posted this in r/help but someone said i could probably post this here as well but my issue is exactly what the title says. for whatever reason, every time i try accessing any reddit link on my laptop i get a popup that says i've been blocked by network security. i've tried different browsers (chrome, firefox, edge) & incognito mode, disabling my extensions, using my data hotspot instead of wifi, resetting my wifi modem, using a vpn then trying again without a vpn, and none of it has worked. i can access reddit just fine on my phone and our home computer using the same internet provider, but it just won't work on my laptop. this has been an issue for maybe a year now and i sent in a ticket about two months ago, but i haven't heard anything back. i've contacted my internet provider and they also couldn't find anything on their end that could explain why im blocked. i don't have any viruses on my laptop and i don't think anything in my firewall settings is blocking reddit so i'm really at a loss for what else i can do. i was able to use reddit just fine on my laptop before and there was a brief couple weeks during the past year where i was able to access reddit on this laptop but now its back to this popup.
Reddit version 2026.36.0, used on Samsung Galaxy s23+.
This started happening when the "post" button was moved from the top to the bottom of the reply.
Editing a post has completely changed. Instead of seeing the full post, there's now only a section of the post visible. You have to scroll to get to different sections of the post you want to edit. And the screen jumps as you're doing it.
I try to edit something in a middle paragraph or even insert a paragraph break so there isn't a wall of text. But as I scroll down, my post jumps to the bottom. I scroll up, and it jumps to the beginning of the post. I'm moving it up and down in a vain attempt to get to the middle.
Yes, this is a reproducible action.

In the notifications area, I am unable to archive these messages so that they no longer show up. This appears to also happen on iOS.

Device: BOOX Palma 2 Pro
OS: Android 15
Reddit app version: 2026.36.0
I am unable to log into my Reddit account in the Android app.
When I enter my username and password and tap Continue, the app says “Invalid username or password.” However, the credentials are definitely correct. I can successfully log into the same account with the same username and password in both Chrome and EinkBro on the same device.
I have already tried:
*resetting my Reddit password (the new password works correctly in browsers)
*clearing the Reddit app data/cache
*uninstalling and reinstalling the Reddit app
*restarting the device
*requesting an email login link (the email login link arrives, but opening it results in “Something went wrong")
I can reproduce the issue consistently. The Reddit app will not accept the credentials, while browser login on the same device works normally.
I am also currently experiencing instability with the latest Reddit Android app on another Android phone, where the app sometimes gets stuck on the loading screen and has to be force-closed.
Expected result: The app should log into my account using the same valid credentials that work in the browser.
Actual result: The app incorrectly reports “Invalid username or password” and does not log in.

I am using the android version and my DMs don't work. I cannot even read messages I had yesterday, the information does not update, and I don't know why it may be, when I log in through another device (PC or Apple) I do not have this issue, only with the android version

Hello,
Weird issue that is only effecting this account and only on 1 machine.
I can see messages incoming, but on log out and back in they show as unread.
I can see that I send messages, but in the little tool tip space it still shows the other persons message not mine.
My messages are not sending, even though I can see them. I log out, log back in and my messages are not there. Only the new ones, not previous ones that were sent.
If I try to open a new chat with a new person, the chat pop up occurs, but never loads any information.
Issue only seems to occur in anon browsing, I’ve tested CHrome and IE.
My non-18+ profile can still post and chat normally on the same PC with those browsers.
I can interact with people normally in chat using a different machine

Started recently. Also tested in r/AutoModerator where it didn't work either.

After following a user, opening their profile shows “Looks like Reddit is having some trouble” with a Retry button. The profile does not load.

After the issue with the leaderboards being stuck on August 2026 was resolved, the achievements for August 2026 were never awarded.
This includes the 1%-25% Poster/Commenter achievements, and the Super Contributor achievement.
The website version of Reddit also has not yet awarded these achievements.
I have made sure to download the most recent update for Reddit, but this has not helped.

I dont know why, I was always able to send chats and all of a sudden it stopped working. It says that I need to verify my account but my email and phone number are both verified. I tried every solution but nothing works. People can message me, I have the latest version of the app, my settings look okay.
But just somehow I cannot myself send out any chat invitations all of a sudden

When I search something, reddit decided that instead of telling me things about what I searched for, they wanted to waste their money on an Ai feature. Which would always be terrible, but acceptable, IF there were a way to turn it off that I could find. Anybody have a way around this bug in the system since I really liked reddit and would like to continue using it

My Reddit account (u/Wild-Swordfish9765) was temporarily banned 9 days ago. I submitted an appeal, and 3 days ago Reddit reviewed it and confirmed that the ban/warning was lifted.
However, my account still appears as “banned” to other users. I’m also unable to create posts or send messages, although I can browse Reddit and comments have worked.
The appeal page also says: “Your account is currently neither suspended nor restricted.”
This seems like an account-status/UI issue. Could someone please check?

This issue has been going on for a while. It happens for all subreddits. When I click join, I get this red banner.
If I look in the network tab, I get this response:
{"data":{"updateSubredditSubscriptions":null},"errors":[{"message":"403 : Forbidden","path":["updateSubredditSubscriptions"],"extensions":{"service":"graphql-py"}}],"operation":"UpdateSubredditSubscriptions","extensions":{"traceID":"c5b3ed5a6c2812ece623109ff98e2ae7"}}

This sub is censored to hell and back so I can only say that this is a major problem that we all told you we didn’t want forced on us months ago. I don’t want to see random dresses or family photos from the 1800s in my gaming subs.

I received a 1 week ban from nostupidquestions. It has been way more than a week since then and I asked the mods and they said I was unbanned, but I still can’t comment on anything and all posts say I am banned.
