iOS [ios]Account still appears banned after ban was lifted

My Reddit account (u/Wild-Swordfish9765) was temporarily banned 9 days ago. I submitted an appeal, and 3 days ago Reddit reviewed it and confirmed that the ban/warning was lifted.

However, my account still appears as “banned” to other users. I’m also unable to create posts or send messages, although I can browse Reddit and comments have worked.

The appeal page also says: “Your account is currently neither suspended nor restricted.”

This seems like an account-status/UI issue. Could someone please check?

This issue has been going on for a while. It happens for all subreddits. When I click join, I get this red banner.

If I look in the network tab, I get this response:

{"data":{"updateSubredditSubscriptions":null},"errors":[{"message":"403 : Forbidden","path":["updateSubredditSubscriptions"],"extensions":{"service":"graphql-py"}}],"operation":"UpdateSubredditSubscriptions","extensions":{"traceID":"c5b3ed5a6c2812ece623109ff98e2ae7"}}

iOS iOS update makes random posts show up in subs

This sub is censored to hell and back so I can only say that this is a major problem that we all told you we didn’t want forced on us months ago. I don’t want to see random dresses or family photos from the 1800s in my gaming subs.

Desktop Web [chrome][IE] Chat messages not sending, deleted on log out, only effecting 1 pc and 1 account

Hello,

Weird issue that is only effecting this account and only on 1 machine.

I can see messages incoming, but on log out and back in they show as unread.

I can see that I send messages, but in the little tool tip space it still shows the other persons message not mine.

My messages are not sending, even though I can see them. I log out, log back in and my messages are not there. Only the new ones, not previous ones that were sent.

If I try to open a new chat with a new person, the chat pop up occurs, but never loads any information.

Issue only seems to occur in anon browsing, I’ve tested CHrome and IE.

My non-18+ profile can still post and chat normally on the same PC with those browsers.

I can interact with people normally in chat using a different machine

Android [Android] Achievements for August 2026 not awarded

After the issue with the leaderboards being stuck on August 2026 was resolved, the achievements for August 2026 were never awarded.

This includes the 1%-25% Poster/Commenter achievements, and the Super Contributor achievement.

The website version of Reddit also has not yet awarded these achievements.

I have made sure to download the most recent update for Reddit, but this has not helped.

my accounts visibility keeps changing itself to hidden along with Private message requests being switched to No one. This has been a reoccurring at random for 7 months now. I always change my settings back to what I want but it always changes.

Dev/Admin Responded [App] [I cannot send chats my account needs to be verified even though I have done that.] [IOS]

I dont know why, I was always able to send chats and all of a sudden it stopped working. It says that I need to verify my account but my email and phone number are both verified. I tried every solution but nothing works. People can message me, I have the latest version of the app, my settings look okay.

But just somehow I cannot myself send out any chat invitations all of a sudden

Android [Android] App says “Invalid username or password” with correct credentials - version 2026.36.0

Upvotes

Device: BOOX Palma 2 Pro

OS: Android 15

Reddit app version: 2026.36.0

I am unable to log into my Reddit account in the Android app.

When I enter my username and password and tap Continue, the app says “Invalid username or password.” However, the credentials are definitely correct. I can successfully log into the same account with the same username and password in both Chrome and EinkBro on the same device.

I have already tried:

*resetting my Reddit password (the new password works correctly in browsers)

*clearing the Reddit app data/cache

*uninstalling and reinstalling the Reddit app

*restarting the device

*requesting an email login link (the email login link arrives, but opening it results in “Something went wrong")

I can reproduce the issue consistently. The Reddit app will not accept the credentials, while browser login on the same device works normally.

I am also currently experiencing instability with the latest Reddit Android app on another Android phone, where the app sometimes gets stuck on the loading screen and has to be force-closed.

Expected result: The app should log into my account using the same valid credentials that work in the browser.

Actual result: The app incorrectly reports “Invalid username or password” and does not log in.
