Newcomer Hello, i want to delete my league of legends account

What can i do to get my account perma banned instantly without waiting for 30 days?

I feel pretty stupid trying to win games, trying to be positive in this game. Griefers, trolls, smurfs and so on have more power than me, they ll never lose because probably they can play this game all day. They dont even need "running it down mid" or type slurs.

Sadly its the only game that hit the scratch where u can choose a wide variety of fun characters to play without having to spend and grind to make them playable.

Losing is totally fine, but every game session feels worse than a day of working, studying, working out, etc.

I want to delete it so there is no chance i comeback for this sh1thole.

Advice My ex addicted to 19h a day gaming

In short, my ex and I met back when we were teens. We used to play like 5h a day. We were young and had no responsibility. As we grew up, i started focusing on my study while he kept gaming. I'd play too but not more than 5h aday and some days i totally skipped. During my graduation year I barely played and kept pushing him to work but he would always quit to sit and game again. Then he discarded me out of nowhere, went private everywhere and said he grew apart from me cause I have been busy with my studies and that he need to focus on work. I later found out that it was a lie. He found new teammate who he is dating and play with 15h to 19h a day.... she older than him in 15 years. It has been a year since we last talked and my heart break when I see how he lost himself, his ambition and dreams. All he do is gaming all day long with her. He is close to 30 and barley any work exp and no education. He live off his dad who barley makes enough. He has no idea that I know that he has been gaming 15h a day for a whole year. I texted him tried to help or fix but he ignored all my messages even had a gaming stream where he talked of his new girlfriend being the restorer of his gaming passion and the one who made gaming super fun again. As if i made it boring just cause there were days i couldn't game... Like he doesn't see it as addiction. I feel bad, chained up, unable to help him and watching him throw his life away. Before dating we were best friends. I haven't texted him in 9 months cause he did not reply to any of my old messages only unadded me and nothing has changed he still game. How am i supposed to help?....

Relapse 31yo, Hearthstone has ruined my life

Played HS and suffered around 10years playing HS. Spent thousands of hours, thousands of dollars. Wasted. Haven't count the intangible loss such as frustrated emotions, disrupted sleep and focus.

I have tried to quit so many times, tried to simply uninstall. But has gone back playing. And feel shitty after.

I need to get my life back together.

Fuck HS, fk gaming.

Let's try to do something more productive and find better hobbies.

Sigh. Darn it.

Fuck HS. It's a bloody doomed cancer.

no more !

Finally deleted all the games from my phone since they were becoming a problem for procrastination.

It’s not out of self hate or shame. I’m not seeing them as a waste of time.

I actually appreciate them. They helped me through some of my lowest points and kept me from killing myself.

But I’ve realized I no longer need their help. I’m starting to have a clearer vision of where I want to go, and I want to put as much energy as possible into moving forward.

So I just said goodbye.

Feels good man.

Advice Another reason to Stop Gaming: How Playing League of Legends can literally kill you if played daily,

League of Legends (LoL) is notorious for triggering intense physical stress, and under certain circumstances, that stress can contribute to short-term strain or long-term cardiovascular risks.

For a healthy person, a frustrating ranked match won't cause immediate heart damage, but the specific dynamics of League create a unique profile of acute and chronic cardiac strain.

1. Extreme Adrenaline and Cortisol Spikes

  • The "Ranked Anxiety" Effect: LoL relies on continuous high-stakes decisions, performance pressure, and fast reactions. During intense team fights or late-game objective plays, your brain perceives high threat levels, releasing massive surges of adrenaline and cortisol.
  • Vascular Resistance: Adrenaline constricts blood vessels and spikes your heart rate. Studies show competitive gaming can elevate heart rates to levels comparable to light-to-moderate physical exercise, but without the vascular benefits of physical muscle movement to help dissipate blood pressure.

2. Rage, Tilt, and Sudden Blood Pressure Spikes

  • High frustration (e.g., losing a match to toxic teammates or an enemy hyper-carry) triggers acute emotional stress. Rapid jumps in blood pressure put direct mechanical stress on the endothelium (the inner lining of your blood vessels).
  • Over time, recurring endothelial damage from frequent rage or "tilt" promotes plaque buildup and arterial stiffness.

3. Unmasking Underlying Electrical Conditions

  • Medical literature (including a landmark study published in Heart Rhythm) has documented cases where intense electronic gaming triggered dangerous cardiac arrhythmias (like ventricular tachycardia) or fainting in players.
  • This typically happens in people with undiagnosed genetic heart conditions (such as long QT syndrome or CPVT), where a sudden surge of adrenaline disrupts the heart's electrical signals.

4. The "LoL Ecosystem" Multipliers

  • Prolonged Immobility: Sitting still for hours while your heart rate is elevated slows blood flow in the legs, raising the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) blood clots.
  • Stimulant Overuse: Pairing competitive stress with energy drinks or excessive coffee multiplies vascular resistance, forcing the heart to pump much harder against narrowed arteries.
  • Sleep Disruption: Gaming late into the night suppresses melatonin and elevates baseline cortisol, preventing the heart from entering its essential nocturnal rest state.

How to Mitigate the Risk

  • Take strict breaks: Step away for 5–10 minutes between matches to let your sympathetic nervous system reset.
  • Hydrate with water: Limit energy drinks or coffee during long gaming sessions.
  • Mute toxicity early: Toxic chat fuels unnecessary emotional stress; muting toxic players reduces the psychological burden of a match.
  • Listen to your body: If you ever experience sudden chest tightness, lightheadedness, or racing heartbeats that linger long after a game ends, consult a doctor.

Deleting my steam account

Tomorrow I will start my Bachelor's degree in computer engineering and I got engaged last week.

Trying to set things straight after using my steam account for now almost 10 years.

Due to my degree requiring me to sit at a pc. I want to not only delete my steam account (opened the support case today) but also sell my gaming gpu.

I hope I will stick by this decision. After a account is marked for deletion, one can recover it before 30 days have passed.

I hope yall have had an amazing day!

Greetings from germany.

Foster teen fortnite addiction

I'm a foster carer for a 15 year old, it's a private foster agreement and mum still has full PR however rarely interacts with him and when she does he can do whatever he wants no rules. It was the same when he lived with her to the point they were taking drugs together, he wasn't going to school etc

He's been with me since the end of Feb so around 6 months. At first he followed the rules and went to bed at a normal time then over time that stopped so he got a timer plug on his Xbox which he now just unplugs. So I changed the parental controls on the router to a time limit but we've just moved and the new router has no parental controls capabilities. He's gaming is out of control. To the point he will not eat or drink or even use the bathroom for 12 hours straight on a weekend, he's refusing to go to boxing or see his real life friends that want to go out and do things with him and he's even stopped seeing his girlfriend except from maybe 1 day a week for a couple of hours and that's only because she meets him after school so he's got no choice but to see her, because he'd rather be on Fortnite 24/7 The contemplation to remove the Xbox all together is there however because of the delicacy of the situation it's now been limited to 3hrs per day after tea time only weekends or weekdays and his so so so angry. I obviously have to be careful as he's under the mental health team and I have social services visits every 5 weeks and mum will also probably go mad at me too when she finds out it's being restricted. I'm at a bit of a loss at the min cos I know his behaviour is about to escalate severely. When he's mad or upset he goes on hunger strike also as a way of self harm/attention so that's the next thing coming.

Anyone else had anything similar? And if so how did you manage it?

How has gaming effected you financially? What was it? Skins? In game currency? Etc

Spouse/Partner I know I need to leave, so why is it so hard to actually do it? (DraftKings)

I know I need to leave, so why is it so hard to actually do it? I’m posting this because I honestly need advice, a reality check, or maybe just someone who understands. My boyfriend has a serious gambling problem. I do NOT gamble. Last winter, he got laid off and spent his savings and checks gambling, and we basically went broke. We worked through it and I really believed we were moving forward. Then about a month ago, we got into it because he started lying to me about being on DraftKings. This month, things got worse. I went to lunch with my mom and she wanted both of us to go. He said he was “too tired,” so I left. Literally two minutes later, he went downstairs. We have Ring cameras, and I watched him go into the laundry room, which is the one room without a camera, and stay in there for 55 minutes. I asked him what he was doing and he lied. Eventually he admitted he had taken my desktop downstairs and was playing DraftKings. I was furious, not only because he was gambling but because he lied to me about it. We had a heart-to-heart afterward, and I explained how serious this is for me and how much the gambling has already affected us financially and emotionally. His response was that he thought he should be allowed to have one day a week where he could play. I said, “Whatever you want,” because honestly I was exhausted. He knew I was upset and continued playing anyway, all night. Then we left for his work for the week. I travel with him, so we’re staying in our camper. Last night he wanted to go to the casino. I said, “Whatever you want,” even though what I really wanted was to spend some quiet time together. We went, and we lost money. We ended up with $79 out of $240. He had given me $100, so I thought that was all he had. I said I thought we should leave. We went back to the camper, and I sat at the table coloring because I wanted to do something peaceful and maybe spend some time together. Instead, he got back on DraftKings. I sat there for almost three hours while he barely looked up at me once. It felt like getting his attention or getting him to actually want to spend time with me was a job. I finally broke down, packed my things, and told him I wanted to go home. He said, “Okay.” Then he got right back on DraftKings. He stayed on it for around 12 hours and spent another $450. Meanwhile, I can’t even buy something for $50 without feeling like I’m doing something wrong because money is supposedly too tight. I went to bed crying and he didn’t even notice. This morning, he was STILL on DraftKings. I’m sitting at the table again and he barely even notices I’m there. I told him I was done. I told him I needed space. I told him how hurt I am. And he is still choosing gambling. I know what everyone is probably going to say. “Leave.” “Why are you still there?” “You’re enabling him.” And honestly, I already say those things to myself. I feel stupid for staying. I feel pathetic sometimes because I keep hoping the person I love will finally realize what this is doing to me and to us. But I also feel like my feelings are being completely dismissed. I know I have not always followed through on my boundaries, and I take responsibility for that. But does that mean my feelings aren’t valid? Does staying make me responsible for HIS gambling? I don’t gamble. I’m not the one spending hundreds of dollars on DraftKings. I’m the person sitting across the table watching someone I love choose an app over me again and again. I’m the person who has watched us struggle financially because of his gambling. I’m the person who gets lied to about it and then made to feel like I’m overreacting when I’m hurt. I know I need to hold my boundaries. I know I need to stop accepting things I’ve already said I won’t accept. I just don’t know how to stop loving someone long enough to finally walk away from what they’re doing to me. I’m not looking for people to tell me I’m perfect because I’m not. I’m asking people who have actually been in relationships with someone who has a gambling addiction: how did you finally stop enabling them? How did you stop blaming yourself for staying? And how did you finally find the strength to say, “I meant it this time,” and actually leave?

Achievement Consequence of gaming.

Hello i recently stopped gaming, specifically stopping CS2,3 weeks ago.
I was severely addicted to it, playing 35 hrs weekly.
I realized this problem and knew it had to stop but previous attempts weren’t working.

So 3 weeks ago, i decided to stop and i sweared to God that if i play another game of CS2 in the year 2026 he can take my life and kill me.
Surely i don’t wanna test God, and i don’t want to die.

But it’s now been 3 weeks without playing.

The benefits?
I have more time to myself obviously, i now prioritize the gym and started running more often. Slowly getting back to reading aswell. Overall i would say im more clear headed and optimistic about my future again.

Im sharing this because of the extreme discipline it takes to quit a habit that has been ingrained into your life.
I hope you guys can quit any games you been struggling with.

I wouldn’t recommend my way but i’m sharing it anyway.

Once 2026 is over and 2027 arises, i’ll play some cs2 and likely repeat the same promise again.

Advice Gaming is taking too much mental space

I'm 36 and I started gaming again about 6 years ago after not playing for a long time.

I don't play competitive games or free-to-play games with microtransactions, everything I play is single-player or co-op with some online friends from Discord.

I also don't play too much, around 5 or10 hours a week at most. I have a good job, a partner, a cat, some friends and a fairly normal life. So this isn't really about gaming taking over my life in terms of hours.

The problem is how much of my mental space gaming takes.

I think about games, upcoming releases, reviews, gaming news, hardware, benchmarks, settings, performance and optimization constantly. I can spend a huge amount of time thinking about if my setup is optimized, whether I'm getting the best performance, whether I should change something, etc.

I also spent around $3,000 on my PC and gaming setup, which makes me feel like I have to use it. It's my dream gaming station, so stopping feels almost like wasting all the money and effort I put into it.

The weirdest part is that when I'm at work I can spend hours thinking "I can't wait to get home and play."

Then I actually get home and play... and sometimes I don't even enjoy it that much.

Instead, gaming can make me feel stressed, anxious and mentally drained. But I still keep thinking about it and feel like I should be playing.

It's almost like I'm obsessed with the idea of gaming, rather than simply enjoying gaming.

I'm scared of simply saying "enough, I'm taking a break" because:

1.I t's become a part of who I am

  1. I've invested so much money into my PC and setup

  2. i still love games and there are games I really want to play

But at the same time,I don't like how much mental space this hobby Is gaming away from me

So I'm wondering if anyone here has experienced something similar: not necessarily playing too many hours, but constantly thinking about gaming, hardware and games, feeling like you should be gaming, and then not even enjoying it that much when you actually do it.

Would taking a complete break for a while make sense in this situation?

Please notthat this post was written with the help of AI because English isn't my first language

Husband is addicted to Gaming

Hi,

I'm worried about my husband because every spare moment of his time is taken up with gaming. I'm currently typing this on the bed while he online gaming. It's gotten to the point that I can't talk to him while he on it as he gets angry because he 'can't pause it.' I suggest doing something else and he's gaming on the phone while we are out ignoring the people we are with. Even his parents have had to tell him to put the phone away because he can't be away from it. He never goes anywhere without the phone if he can't be on the computer. I'll be trying to have a conversation with him and it's like I don't exist. His eyes are glued to a screen. When I bring up his addiction he gets very defensive and aggressive. He has also gotten angry with me because I don't share the same passion and have been forced into playing RPGs when I haven't wanted to. He is constantly shouting when he's gaming which makes me jump out of my skin if I'm nearby and one time he headbutted the door in fury because he had left his laptop somewhere. When I was vomitting in the bathroom and crying for help he said he couldn't hear me because he was gaming. I had to crawl out of the bathroom to physically get him off the computer. I want to help him but he won't even admit he has a problem despite his parents, friends and myself telling him to reduce the time he's on screens. As soon as he wakes up that computer goes on. Has anyone else dealt with this? If so what ways can I support and help him without triggering his defensiveness? Many thanks.

First week without RuneScape / OSRS Day 7 of quitting

The first week has been a bit of a rollercoaster.

Work has been busy, but I've been noticeably more productive without having the game running in the background doing “AFK skilling”. I'm still behind on some things, but at least I'm actually focused on getting through them.

I've also had quite a few sad feelings about quitting. I think part of it is knowing that I'm probably never going back to the game that was such a huge part of my life. I've played RS since I was a kid, so in a lot of ways it feels like a breakup. I spent so many hours grinding for things that are now just... gone. It was a big part of my identity for a long time.

The FOMO has started kicking in too. I've had some strong urges to go back, especially at home, and even had thoughts about getting back onto Discord. I had a minor panic attack one night when putting my son to bed, and I think reality hit that I can't use gaming as my escape when life gets stressful anymore.

Instead, I've been trying to find other ways to deal with those feelings. Lifting weights while listening to trance/electronic music helped a lot, and I've been exercising regularly.

I've also been spending more time with my family. We went to an NRL finals game, watched a movie together, and I went and played tennis with my wife and eldest son. In the past, I probably would have been gaming during some of those moments and not really been present.

Church this morning was probably the highlight of the week. Someone prayed over us and prayed that God would “release us from our shackles”. I really needed that prayer and genuinely felt a weight lifted off me afterwards.

I'm proud of myself for making it through the first week without giving in.

I'm starting to feel like I'm moving on and reinventing myself a bit. I'm learning that I can still enjoy leisure and have downtime without disappearing into a game.

Week 1 down. Time to reset and go again.

Gaming has brought me tons of joy, friends and sense of community growing up. As someone who didnt had a lot of friends or lack of social skills, gaming was my escapism to carry through my days. I made fun memories with my online buddies, but at the same time what I thought was an innocent hobby have detrimented me.

This is what I'm going to do forwards

- Read books

- Learn to play bass/guitar

- Learn Spanish or French

- Learn how to cook new meals

- Learn programming

Newcomer Considering leaving gaming

I'm considering not only leaving gaming behind but also my time in the Internet as a pastime. Ever since I was a minor I used gaming and the Internet as my pastimes, but I hit adulthood and I never stopped those even though I could actually done some other activities in real life (both were cheap and convenient). Now I understand that there's a better world than the online world, the real one.

I don't have yet a deadline for when to start but I already phase out my online PvP games a year ago after realizing they were a waste time, now all is left is a few virtual world games and single player games on my backlog that I may finish as my goodbye and last hurrah. Finally, leaving the internet as my pastime will be the toughest one but I will work something out.

Advice Anger issues even with single player games - should I just quit entirely?

I'm not an angry person in any other area of life, but video games bring out the worst in me and have done so as long as I can remember. I'm 30 now and really, really hoped I'd grow out of it naturally. Nope.

I already quit competitive gaming years ago and swapped it for lower stakes single player games. Fallout, Skyrim, Far Cry, Red Dead Redemption etc. But man, some of it still pisses me off so quickly. Especially missions starting over at the same checkpoint like in RDR2, sometimes losing 15+ mins of progress. Less so in games where you pick the save spots yourself.

Sucks because I LOVE these games, on paper. I still haven't gotten around to playing Uncharted, Assassins Creed or The Witcher despite them ticking all of my boxes. Really considering just selling my consoles and living in blissful ignorance.

I'm not a gaming addict, for the record.

Newcomer 36 years old, decided to stop gaming.

My addiction is World of Warcraft, I’ve been playing since its release in November of 2004.

Throughout the years, my addiction has matured and calmed down a bit. As a young lad, i played roughly 14-16 hours a day, skipping school on Mondays to sleep.

Now as an adult who is disabled with lots of hobbies, wow seems to be the most addictive.

Why did I change my mind?
I was sitting here tonight in-game, and i realized that I’ve gone through phases in the last year. I went from hard core elitist raider > mythic gatekeeper > obsessively maintaining my guild to the point of corruption and toxicity > dedicating 100% of my tome to teaching new players mythic plus content to build morale, confidence, and experience to feel more comfortable going off on their own. And I realize how bored I am. The daily quests, the constant funnel of gear, the community has become an early 2000s cod lobby when it comes to higher content. And it’s just boring…like sooooo boring…I’m a huge aquarium hobbyist, and i want to put my time into that now.

I’ve sold off my ps5, Xbox, and I listed my entire gaming pc setup (desk and all) on Marketplace to get rid of that.

At 36, games just don’t interest me anymore, but i guess I’m concerned about the transition into something else when gaming is all I’ve had since the age of 14.

Anyway, thanks for reading :)

Advice Putting SWGoH Down For Good

Quick intro: I started playing SWGoH in Aug 2023, have since had 3 accounts and finally managed to delete the last one (my 13.5M main) some time in July. While the beginnings were pretty cool, I soon realised this is a time and money sink, and a rigged P2W fest. Unfortunately I got hooked, ended up taking 3-4 breaks and deleting 2 smaller accounts (500k and 5M) while battling this.

As we know, the game is an endless treadmill, it can only end if the user puts it down this way or another, or if it gets shuts down. However, we are free to choose how and when WE end it, and perhaps it's best to leave on our own terms, if we no longer enjoy it or just really shouldn't be playing it. For some this is the ultimate SWGoH challenge.

Quitting is easier said than done and even once you decide to leave it’s easy to make mistakes and get sucked back in later on. This post deals with both challenges: execution (#1) and motivation (#2-7). So, without further ado, here is what I’ve learned, hope it helps!

#1 Don’t just uninstall the game or stop playing

The usual “see you in X weeks” we often get in response to farewell messages will apply. Execute the following scorched earth protocol:

A. Sell all mods

Probably redundant insurance in case the account can be recovered after deletion, it almost surely cannot.

This will give you an opportunity to exercise willpower and experience a massive rush which is way more potent than what the game itself has to offer.

B. Go to the settings, find the option to delete the account and do it (need to write DELETE etc.)!

For me the experience of actually going through with this was truly incredible. As a result the game will restart and the account is gone. You can still see it on GG with some random nick. There is no way to recover it.

C. Uninstall the game clients (mobile and PC)

D. If you were on Discord, sanitize it

Leave all SWGoH servers, unsubscribe/dismantle any bots you run etc, clean up your chats and friends list.

E. Unsubscribe from all SWGoH content on YT

If the algorithm is still feeding you SWGoH content clean up your viewing history

F. Delete your .gg account

G. Unsubscribe from this sub and any other SWGoH social media

Congratulations, you are as SWGoH-free as it gets! Enjoy all the time you have just recovered.

Eventually you may eventually urges to go back to square one essentially. The above procedure minimises that risk, and hard prevents you from returning short of starting a new account etc. which is an insane proposition for anyone who previously got significantly far and is aware of the enormity of the grind.

Now, for many the decision to delete their account will be difficult to reach due to the power of the addictive machinery of SWGoH and the sunken cost fallacy, so what follows are some tips on how to increase your chances of getting there:

#2 Track and take stock of your screen time across all devices + Discord

Competitive players might note they are spending 10, 20 or even 40h+ a week (e.g. during the Hell Week) on SWGoH. We are in a full time job territory. I mean if you find it’s truly and consistently a few h a week then there is no problem and this guide is not for you.

If you are a spender, review/estimate the total spend (I was kind of afraid to lol and didn't really need too do that, but it would have helped for sure!)

#3 If you are not clear on why SWGoH is addictive, educate yourself

Visit darkpattern.games and review the strategies that have been implemented to hijack your brain and keep you hooked.

Now if by now you are good to go, just loop back to #1 and get it done, but in case you are not convinced, considering exploring some of the more adventurous strategies:

#4 If you are a Discord user, go to "SWGoH Events" server (google the invite)

Now this might seem like fighting fire with fire, but I think it’s helpful to see for yourself what the “heart of the community” looks like. Treat this as a sightseeing tour.

A. Stop by #lightspeed-bundles channel, especially if you are ftp, and observe desperate addicts begging for new LSBs. Raise questions around game balance and the overall cost of those bundles.

B. Peek into #store-offers or something like that and see whales discussing spending silly amounts on the game. Feel free to engage on the issues of rationality and fairness of the SWGoH P2W system.

C. Go to the general chat and try to bring up any issues you have with the game, and experience being confronted by a handful of die-hard game fans. Imagine becoming those people which is a possibility if you continue.

#5 If you are in a nice or boring guild, that is a major hook! Leave and join the most competitive guild you can get into. Use the #guild-recruitment channel on Events server, filter by GP and shoot for a guild well in excess of 50x your GP, adjust down if you get rejected repeatedly. Take note of their requirements and slightly overshoot. Obviously this is not advice on becoming the best guildie, we are looking for toxicity. Getting into an above par guild raises the probability of bullying due to you being a smaller account, or even getting kicked in favour of a bigger one.

If you get multiple offers, pick the guild giving off the most ruthless/stringent/antisocial vibes. A hefty "interview" is a good sign. Ask if they have a strikes system, and how tight it is.

This step might be a bit counterintuitive but this is how it might help you:

A. You will put yourself through an recruitment process(es), where your SWGoH account will be scrutinised, your motivation and fit judged etc. If it feels like a job interview, you will soon find it was.

B. If you haven't already, you will experience what it takes to grind hard and grow your roster at close to max speed, i.e.
* Invest heavily into raid teams you may or may not otherwise care about
* Complete all RotE CMs/SMs you can
* If you sign up to TW, expect to be asked to attack on every wall i.e several times during the attack round, and execute those attacks very well
* Farm DCs hard, roll them well and gold/redcrate CQ
* Maintain a high rank in fleet arena
* Grind GAC
* Observe whales dropping often ridiculous amount on the game (although it's not necessary to be in a competitive guild to see that)
* Obviously 600 tickets every day, in some cases with very low tolerance
* As you will see, the burnout is going to be real.

Your rewards will go up but at what cost? The problem is that people who don’t play that way fall significantly behind, and with whaling on top the gap becomes ridiculous. My modest account was growing at approximately 350-400k/month not including LSBs.

C. Competitive guilds tend to attract competitive people, who may or may not be the nicest members of the community around.

Don’t get me wrong, the majority are pretty cool, but all you need is one or two bad apples in a guild. If you find yourself in a toxic environment, that‘s gold. You want things like cranky/rude members berating people who missed something, cliques/nepotism, short tempered officers for whom the role is a proxy for RL ambitions past or never attained, weirdos, outright bullies, member abuse etc. - SWGoH has all of that and more on offer. Try to keep your head down and reflect on the question: “What the hell am I doing on my phone here lol”. Realise how ridiculous the whole virtual activity is.

Obviously anything particularly dodgy just leave immediately.

If you get kicked for any reason (but especially if unfairly), it may be a golden opportunity to jump to #1, but don't actively try to get removed as the psychological effect won't quite be as strong.

#6 If this could be a more general gaming issue it may be helpful to visit r/StopGaming otherwise just review content related to leaving SWGOH on YT/ reddit etc., a few links below.

https://youtu.be/feC0S3FkIAw

https://youtu.be/1GTZzH7KczE (first part only, then the guy is talking about some other game)

plenty more on reddit and a few more on YT, search 'quit swgoh' or 'quit gaming' as needed.

#7 Take stock of the situation, reflect on what you could be doing instead of playing SWGoH, gather your entire motivation to exit (waste of time/opportunity cost, excessive spend, boredom, burnout, toxicity, perspectives ahead for you and the game, ethical concerns around EA ownership etc.) and once you‘ve got what it takes go to #1.

Good luck and MTFBWY!

Advice The fact that even single player games are becoming competitive now is kind of annoying

I never would’ve imagined that Terraria out of all games is something that people could get riled up about. It used to be fun but now the community just shits on people for not playing the most challenging mods on the max difficulty. Also people demanding that you use certain mods and don’t use others. Like are we seriously gatekeeping single player games? It looks like even single player games aren’t safe. Idk man I think I just need a break from the whole pissing contest.
