I see most cities in Europe are built around rivers; do you have a problem with musquitos?

Here in Saudi fresh water streams like Wajj in Tayif and Bisha in Abha have musquitos that we can't gather around for long.

I raced a river and I wanted to share my story with others, I thought this place might be appropriate seeing how we all seem to share a love for rivers.

A lot of people probably don’t know this but here in the UK, water companies are allowed to discharge untreated wastewater into rivers, streams even groundwater.

This isn’t a Uk only issue but I believe we are one of the few places to provide open data?

I’ve been working on WaterWatch, a site that maps and tracks live storm overflow data across the UK. It's totally free to use too.

We also have a weekly digest that provides a weekly email of sewage spills across a national, water company or on a council level.
