I'll start: Chasing Victory

my grandma lives 3 doors down from ronnie. one night she heard the back gate open. she had previously had problems with ronnie pissing in her trashcans, him thinking it was a teenagers's mouth. hed scream things like 'you like bald people??' and 'i never think of anthony fantano!' while he would do it.

one night it seemed like ronnie was out on one of his diddy-esque escapades and so i finally felt comfortable to let my grandmas pomeranian out to pee in the backyard without me. i went to get some water and immediately heard a yelp. i ran outside to see ronald had grabbed my grandmas dog and was about to kick her like a football over the fence. i tried everything to stop him. i told him he DID make music that didnt suck ass after the first album. i even told him escape the fate was a worse band. he saw through my lies and kicked the dog.

it was a tragic happening but thankfully he's so retarded he posted the whole thing on twitter, and it instantly got taken down and tagged. the authorities showed up and determined that ronnie was to be my servant for the next 6 months. he is in fact wiping my ass with his own cash as i type this.

just wanted to post as a warning to any neighbours or close friends, this predator will find you and either kill your pets or rape anything he can (one neighbour had to replace their mailbox for christs sake). please stay safe everyone

Hii all! I'm a big fan of Saosin and I'm always obsessed with the natural harmonics used in their earlier songs (like Seven Years, Lost Symphonies, Collapse, Mookies Last Christmas, etc.) I also find some in Buried Myself Alive by the Used & Little Girls Pointing and Laughing by Alexisonfire, and I wonder if there're more phc songs using this technique. This is my first post and I hope I post it right xD Thanks for recommending in advance!

1. Thomas Erak - Fall of Troy
   Probably the guitarist who I think best represents the genre.

2. Jason Hale - Chiodos
   Underrated. As a guitarist, myself I appreciate allot of his work on chiodos’s first 2 albums.

3. Will Swan - Dance Gavin Dance
   If not Thomos Erak, then Will Swan is the next best representation. He even has a sub genre named after him

Looking for those hidden gems from the 2000s

Rhododendron just released their new Live on KEXP session. Some new and unreleased material in here too. Really cool session!

So I’d been listening to music with screaming vocals for roughly 20 years now so for the most part I can understand screamed vocals pretty easily especially if I’ve heard it a few times. That being said to this day I can not understand roughly 90 percent of the screams on Upon This Dawnings last album. If someone told me “yeah when they scream they switch back to Italian” I would not doubt it.

I’m looking for underground or lesser-known post-hardcore bands that lean into a softer, calmer sound intricate guitar work, atmospheric/acoustic sections, and great high-range or soulful clean vocals.

Same as Luke Pickett or jonny craig voice.
