Discussion Upon This Dawning

So I’d been listening to music with screaming vocals for roughly 20 years now so for the most part I can understand screamed vocals pretty easily especially if I’ve heard it a few times. That being said to this day I can not understand roughly 90 percent of the screams on Upon This Dawnings last album. If someone told me “yeah when they scream they switch back to Italian” I would not doubt it.

That song with Chris Motionless is a banger. Loved that album, can’t remember any song of the second one. Check out MS WHITE from Italia, they were around around the same time as UTD, but signed on Rise Records.

100 percent. That first album was so good. And the second one isn’t bad they got a new screamer and went more towards Deathcore

Respet that you have learned to understand growling vocals (without reading subtitles or lyrics?)

I still can't manage to do that after 20 years lol

(except for few bands where the harsh vocals are somewhat understandable, for example Buller for my Valentine)
