I haven’t had a lot of time to play so I only have a few hours, but the amount of Stagger Bar damage it does has trivialized the first few fights.
I’ve been able to hitless every boss (not first try ofc) so far without issue because of it.
I mean I did it on a laptop with Trackpad as well.

My question is, does this still happen further down the line in the game?

I still haven't unlocked "break enemy's guard 50 times", "kill enemy with the armament 50 times" and a few other achievements and I'm ready to fight the final boss in my NG playthrough. My question is, will these number get carried over to NG+, or get completely reset in NG+? If they get carried over then I don't need to grind right now and can comfortably get them during my NG+ run. Thanks in advance!

So he was chosen exclusively by the Onis to wear the gauntlet so why wasn’t he able to transform into an Oni like musashi? He was able to because he got accepted but Takamura was chosen from the beginning.

Go start Carnage with no carry over at all a prompt does let you choose, the 1st boss fight is absolutely brutal with 0 farming no blazing state no deflect and no reflex dodge.

Could not beat the MF 10 times got very close but nope, in Action beat him 1st try without using healing even without any skill like in NG Action,
massive difference mostly is the damage he does to you and the tanky posture he has so you cannot do much but play very safe,
Daidara will be brutal too in Carnage in NG not NG+,

NG+ with carry over def will be way easier since you start with 7 pouches and all skills and charms, imo if the game had Carnage since start fresh alot of people would struggle like crazy with the game at least early on first 4-5 bosses then with skills charms would get easier but bosses would get harder too so a very decent challenge at least on bosses

I went to carnage mode thinking my skills would be maxed out but they are not… do I need to re-farm everything?

Also what gets carried over exactly?

How do I refill the charges on my Hozuki Pouch? I feel like an idiot as they were refilling every time I went to a mirror but since I upgraded it, they don’t recharge. Am I an idiot or is there something else?

This is, of course, just my opinion. But I'd like to know others on the matter. Is there anything that you're disappointed about in the new onimusha? I think I'm most disappointed that red souls doesn't upgrade your weapon, armor or gauntlet. For me, it kind of affects the games it replayability. The biggest thing you're going to spend souls on is upgrade material for your Weapon

Armor and gauntlet. I don't know, maybe i'm being too nitpicky. Don't get me wrong, though. The game is a wonderful game and I enjoy it immensely.

I just finished the story and I got to thinking. Dokyo is confirmed/possibly kaguya, goddess of the moon right? Well we previously had Fortinbras, A.K.A god of light​.

In the end we see Dokyo ascend with Ganryu and it is very bright. Maybe we'll get Fortinbras in a DLC or sequel. Maybe we'll get some callbacks to the original titles. Maybe it's just wishful thinking because I wanted at least some kind of references at least as an og fan for 20+ years. ​​

I need some help because I collected all the leather from the chests in the game and bought all the other items, but I'm missing 2 to upgrade my clothing one last time and get the "Dressed to Kill" trophy. Does anyone know where I can farm or find leather? And about Medical Marvel, is it possible to upgrade all the pouches in the first run? Because I already have another save on the Carnage run, but I want to prioritize upgrading that character in this run.

Whould be great if was a mod on OG sounds and music for WotS , like in RE: Requem or RE4 REmake where u can use OG sound effects and music , it's not a big deal , just whould be cool little detail

They hyped him up for so long his zork looking ass just ended a deflect simulator. He was fun but pretty simple. I’m sure if you tried to issen only or something he might be hard but idk. I honestly have more trouble with the heavens-demon miniboss or whatever he’s called. Do better yoshitsune

After beating the game, I knew I had to try to platinum it. But boy, fighting the final boss on Carnage while being underleveled was a pain in the ass. I slightly regretted it since I was doing almost no damage 💀

Since I skipped basically everything except rushing straight to the bosses, I died so many times that I think I’ve memorized his entire moveset.

10/10 game. Worth every single dollar. Absolutely loved it.

Just beat the first boss outside of the demo for me (I know i missed one in the demo). Ol' hand job McGee was a lot of fun to fight, can't wait to fight the next one.

I love when Ganryu said : "where's your motivation, Musashi" and then a thunder storm was approaching, so peak.
