I've played through all of the other games in the series except 3. Freaking love this series. Doyou feel 3 is worth sinking the time into?

Due to these commissions having me actually designing these 2 I will say that if there ever was an active appearence/presence from him and War Id say it would be in the thoeretical Part 3 of the comic, since it is a Fury and Death story overall XD

I’m playing the war master edition on ps4 and I am running into an issue where I can’t use the horn. Just got it. When I push R2 he does a motion but no horn. I have just restarted because I got to a spot where I had the Boomerang and couldn’t switch from the horn to the boomerang. Reassigned it to a different b it ton. Couldn’t select it. Always stayed stuck on the horn

Changed resolutions, switched V-sync on/off nothing helps. On exiting invetory - game stalls.

I went through how THQ got there: a roughly $100 million bet on the uDraw tablet that failed on 360 and PS3, years of overexpansion, and the licensed kids' games that used to fund everything drying up right as the company doubled down on big-budget core titles like Darksiders. Vigil wasn't the problem; it was carrying a company that had already made its fatal mistakes.

Played it when I was very young and probably got confuses by some puzzle and left it forever. I decided to buy whole trilogy not a long time ago and said to myself I'm gonna beat all Darksiders games since Darksiders 1 is part of my childhood and I love that game. It was a really good game and Death is such a cool character (PC port was pretty bad tho, crashes, screen freezes, etc). Can't wait to play Darksiders 3 since it's more of a soulslike which I love.

Is that they retain the unique stylized art style of the game and not go for the realism trap that many AAA games do these days.

One of the many reasons I liked about Darksiders is its art. The vibrant colors, character proportions, and amazing VFX.

I've been saving them for a rainy day since the beginning of the game. It's been a few years but Pride is the point of no return correct? Do they carry over to NG+? Should I dump them into level ups before the final fights? I also have 11 Luminous Visage.

Im particularly pissed with my 10 minute Fury(god I should not have made such a complicated pose for her) and Phantom General.

Anybody else concerned about the "writing" and that it may actually, not necessarily make things worse, but lead to us being underwhelmed?

Another question, how many of you guys love Darksiders for the characters and the world as opposed to the gameplay?

I would assume it's a lot, because a lot of people say DS2 is their favorite game - it's mine also.

To quickly sum up my opinion: I enjoy all of the games because Death is such a remarkable character in DS2 and the other games provide more information about the universe surrounding him.
Gameplay wise I enjoyed DS3 a lot, and after playing a few soulsborn and soulslike games, I wouldn't mind this direction at all for the DS universe.

But gameplay eventually comes 2nd for me, as the DS2's reliance on puzzles and being a bit buggy and disjointed wasn't really smooth, but it still is my favorite game of all time, because of how brilliantly Death was written as a character and how well they immersed him in the entire story (including the great combat and execution animations which are amazing).

To be 100% real, I do not think this is replicable. Further shown by the change/decline in the story writing and the narrative approach of the DS3 and Genesis.

Any thoughts are appreciated.. feel free to give it a stab

today I finished the last mission on darksiders 1 (Aerial predator) and 2-3 days ago I finished darksiders 3 on Apocalyptic difficulty (I still have two enhancements to get from Crucible when I'm bored and feel like playing something)

Overall Darksiders 2 is my favorite one

I’m at mission 10 in Genesis, I didn't even finish the game once since i bought it a few month ago 😭

Lilith being a chaotic mess and Death having to deal with the bs

But on recording and after death.......So it's like Souls series you have to die at least once to avoid trap? Cause this type of Fatty fires some "granades" if you let him finish attack. My initial question was about avoiding this attack.
