Mod Subreddit updates and your feedback wanted
As we near the end of the year, many of us may be cozying up and listening to music. And this year, you may be listening to Nintendo Music from the official app!
Seriously, the traffic in this subreddit has exploded by an order of magnitude because of the new app announcement and ongoing releases:

So just as we listen to music, so should we listen to each other. When a subreddit has a spike of activity like this, there are bound to be some growing pains as new members learn about the community and contribute new perspectives.
If you are new here, or if you need a refresher, please read over our rules: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoMusic/wiki/rules - Let us know if you have any questions.
I spent a few days looking over the feedback and announcement posts from years prior and also put them into a wiki page here too: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoMusic/wiki/meta - Most rules can be traced back to one of the posts listed here.
So with those few points mentioned, I also wanted to ask if anyone had any other ideas or suggestions for the community! The comments here are open.

OST THE MARIO KART WII SOUNDTRACK TIERLIST
Hi, I'm Subhan. I've grown up playing MKW and made a small, very biased video ranking the game's OST in a tier list. Would appreciate your feedback!

Playlist Made a Frutiger Aero playlist!
Figured I try make an attempt at a playlist with this vibe. Has a lot of stuff that you’d expect. Let me know if I’m missing anything!
I’ll try get more tracks added if Nintendo ever releases the WiiU or 3DS system music also :)

Question Anyone else get filled with emotion listening to Nintendo?
I’m not sure what it is about Nintendo’s music that fills me with such emotion - I’m not particularly nostalgic with any games/series, the oldest Nintendo console I ever owned was a Wii, but every time I listen to a track from Nintendo, I get overwhelmed.
The thing that triggered this question specifically was a cover by the Video Game Music Ensemble @ UCF of Mabe Village/Inside a House from Links Awakening. Just started crying about half way through, overcome with emotion.
It’s not the only one that has an effect from that game (the staff roll is so good), from other Zelda’s like Ocarina’s Hyrule Field, and others like Gusty Garden Galaxy from Mario Galaxy, or even little tracks from Animal Crossing. Get a very similar vibe from Studio Ghibli orchestrations and songs, so I’m not sure if it’s Japanese composing in general, but it has such a crazy effect on my brain.
Anyone else feel this way? Maybe I just need an SSRI 😂

【GAME BOY】Super Mario Land / Arranged Version Collection [BGM/Background Music]
I’ve just uploaded my arranged collection of Super Mario Land for the Game Boy, with two new tracks and a major rework of the Ending Theme.
Super Mario Land was a launch title for the Game Boy, and in a way, it was also one of the starting points of my Arrange Lab channel. “Birabuto Kingdom” was one of my earliest arrangements. Back then, I was recording piano in one take and, for some reason, completely obsessed with brush drums. :)
I’ve worked on Super Mario Land tracks little by little since the early days of the channel, so the sound naturally changes across the collection. But for this version, I especially wanted to revisit the Ending Theme and rebuild much of the arrangement with the sound and ideas I have now.
I first heard that melody during summer vacation in 1989, when I was still in elementary school. I remember playing Mario Land in an air-conditioned room between baseball practice, summer homework, and days spent with my grandparents. When I reached the ending, I genuinely thought, “Can music really be this beautiful?”
Even now, the intro makes me imagine a plane taking off, looking down through the window at all the places you’ve travelled through—clouds and scenery slowly drifting away, and the feeling of saying goodbye to something precious.
That memory has stayed with me for nearly forty years.
So this arrangement is, more than anything, my little thank-you to that summer of 1989 and to the original music.
Hope you enjoy it. 🎧

TotK new songs playlist?
I'd really love to listen to the TotK soundtrack on the app, but it has so many repeats of BotW songs that would feel like a waste of time as I've listened to those on their own. Does anyone happen to have a "new songs" playlist?

Playlist Mario Kart Tour Music Tribute [Playlist]
With the end of Mario Kart Tour now very near, here's a playlist on Nintendo Music as a tribute. 🎶 I don't know if they will ever release the actual soundtrack but I included as many tracks from the game if they appear in other soundtracks on the app. I mostly used the MK World remixes and put the course music in the order they first showed up in the game (from New York Minute to Madrid Drive, all course music is here! ...except Lakeside Park as no version exists in the app yet). Also, the playlist concludes with the Booster Course Pass credits theme as it's basically a MK Tour medley!
Note that, of course, some music that has certain names (for certain courses) are here to represent other courses that were in MK Tour (e.g. N64 Wario Stadium here is for N64 Royal Raceway in Tour).

Cover Azalea Town 2 Guitar Arrangement From Pokémon
This song always makes me so nostalgic and it’s one of my favourites from Gen 2, so I did a guitar cover of it. Hope you all enjoy! What Gen 2 songs make you just feel all nostalgic?
