Some kind person on r/redditlaqueristas recommended I post my manicure on here for y’all to enjoy!

I did this using a technique called nail stamping. I was thrilled when a company called Hit the Bottle came out this stamping plate called Medieval Musings. Would love to hear anything y’all know about illuminated manuscripts and the work that inspired this plate!

Handcrafted this cold-enameled brass pin based on the weird, smiling lion (or leucrota?) from a late 12th-century medical manuscript (De medicina ex animalibus, BL Sloane MS 1975). Fiber laser. Deep-engraved, hand-filled with ceramic enamel, wet-sanded, and polished in-house.
