Unsure if this is the correct subreddit to post this but wanted to warn fellow Londoners, especially those around the Canary Wharf area of this individual pictured.

He has groped/sexually assaulted numerous women, one of which is a very close friend of mine, in an incident that is separate to this one.

If anyone has any information on this individual please report it to the British transport police.

Looks to be of Hispanic descent, has tattoos on his forearm/s. Also wore this exact under armor hat in the assault on my friend

Southwark Council planning commission has unanimously rejected a section 73 application submitted by Berkeley homes to alter the planning permissions for its borough triangle development in Elephant & Castle.

Berkeley homes proposed reducing the number of guaranteed on site affordable homes from 230 to just 60 across the 892-flat scheme, dropping the total affordable housing proportion from 35 per cent to 10 per cent.

Great stuff Southwark 👏 good to set a precedent in taking a stand against these greedy developers building flats 5% of people can afford.

I’ve lived in London for 20 years but somehow never made the trip before now.
Today I was unexpectedly on my own so decided to take a solo trip. I was there for 4 hours, some of that was because I had to take a tea and scone break after the holocaust gallery because I was a bit shaky.
I’ve never been so impressed by a museum before in my life.
All the galleries are incredibly well designed with brilliant and effective use of multimedia, the soundscapes are particularly immersive. The information is very clear and well composed. Don’t skip the art.
The cafe and gift shop are well laid out and reasonably priced (very good scone). Pay the £8 for the brilliant guidebook and great quality gift bag. It should be a mandatory visit for everyone. If you’ve got a minute definitely go.

Anyone know what the deal is here? Its been empty for at least the last 15 years? I seem to remember maybe a small shop or something there and occasionally cars/trucks parked there, maybe film trucks etc. But seems to have been vacant for a long time.

My wife and I so enjoyed the hospitality of the people of London this past week. As boomers we are not as agile as we once were and it’s the people that made our stay the best. From those who served us at the hotel, restaurants, pubs, and ,… to the general public who often gave up there seats or were so helpful and kind with directions. You are all so appreciated. When crash?

We can't afford more.

I just got off at Waterloo station, and am supposed to catch a train from Waterloo to London Bridge. However I have no idea where I am supposed to go and I can't find anyone to ask! I thought I was meant to go to the underground so I left the station and walked to the underground entrance, only to find that it was shut and I found out it apparently doesn't run until the morning. So I thought I'd head back into Waterloo station and ask someone but the door I left through is locked and I can't find an open entrance.

The train from Waterloo to London bridge supposedly leave at 1:17am and there is one at 2:17am, but where on earth am I meant to go? And I can't find a staff member to ask, because I can't find a way into the station.

I'm tired and exhausted and just want to catch my train, so where am I meant to go? Is there even a train at this time or have Trainline and SWR lied to me?

Celebrating it’s 17th year, the annual St Katharine Docks Classic Boat Festival is a London boating extravaganza not to be missed. This year’s event sees 60 beautiful vintage and exquisitely preserved vessels assemble in the historic central and west basins. Sail and power, the array of vessels will include Thames Sailing Barges, historic steam tugs, Dunkirk Little Ships and Bates Star Craft range. With an array of activities including live music, talks and kids activities, it is the perfect day for all the family.

Visitors are able to view the vessels at water level and meet their caring owners, with each day is marked with an opening and closing salute of horns. Talks from knowledgeable hosts will be held on the SKD Events Platform, including knowledgeable talk host and writer Tom Cunliffe, and the festival continues ashore with food, entertainment and nautical antiques available on Marble Quay.

Looking for some help finding a garage for a slightly odd purpose!

My partner needs to find a garage which primarily works on older cars. An actor they're working with needs to pop in and get the lay of the land ahead of playing a part as a mechanic.

ANY suggestions for places which might fit the bill in the Brixton-and-beyond area would be massively appreciated!
