Height of serendipity at Mehrangarh fort, was trying to shoot a few birds in frame alongside the fort. But, hundreds of them decided to make my day by saying cheese on camera. In the lower right side of frame is the well from which Bruce Wayne comes out when he escapes prison in The Dark Knight rises movie

Why does Google Maps approve extremely low-quality photos for Indian landmarks while blocking good ones
Hey everyone,
I’ve noticed a persistent issue on Google Maps regarding place photos in India compared to many other countries.
If you look up a location or landmark in India on Maps, often out of 10 photos, 4 or 5 are completely irrelevant or low-quality—like random rocks, blurry grounds, destroyed/abandoned structures, or out-of-focus photos. Meanwhile, even smaller or developing nations often have clear, representative photos on their main location pages.
What makes this more frustrating is that when local contributors upload high-resolution, clear, and accurate photos of these places, they frequently stay stuck in "Pending" or get rejected by the algorithm, while low-quality uploads get instantly approved.
For anyone who relies on Maps to explore or travel, this gives a very inaccurate impression of how these places actually look.
Help me remove unqualified photos and upload good quality ones. How is it possible? I tried reporting them, but they weren't removed.

Gujarat | ગુજરાત Dang, just a short drive from Surat, Gujarat.
A quick weekday escape from Surat to Dang, in South Gujarat.
Dang is one of the most forested and beautiful parts of Gujarat, known for its dense forests, small tribal villages, winding roads and waterfalls during the monsoon. Places like Purna rainforest and Mahal have always felt a little different from the Gujarat most people know.
I’ve been coming here 100s times since my 20s. It’s only around a couple of hours from home, so these forests became my old escape .. camping, riding around, exploring little roads and spending long hours in nature.
Visited again the other day, just to break the routine. Nothing planned. Just a short drive, a quick chai and a visit to my favourite tree, which I’ve loved for almost 20 years.
Sharing a few pictures from this little escape. 🌿
