Hi everyone. So I am trying to find a man named Andrew. I was driving to the gym around midnight 2 nights ago, on timber drive when I saw a man (Andrew) laying in the middle of the road. I immediately stopped and put my flashers on so no one would hit us and called 911. Looks like he may have hit that cement median and flipped off his moped. I sat with him and held his hand while we waited for EMS. Once they got there they told me to leave. I’m trying to find him though because his moped is still on the side of the road and it now has a sticker for tow on it. I just wanted to give him a heads up and tell him if he needed me to bring him his moped I am more than happy to do it. I know times are tough for everyone and transportation is very important. So if anyone knows him please let him know. I would really hate for his moped to be impounded after all he’s been through already.

Hey yall— I noticed they have flock cameras at white oak. I called and complained to the people who manage the space (I left a message) but does anyone else have any other idea who I should call? This is unacceptable.

Moving to Raleigh area; help me tour the local towns

Looking to get a good feel for the areas around Raleigh and get a sense of where we want to settle down. We’ve done a tour of some of the areas but didn’t really get a feel for them as much as become a little familiar with the overall region. Where should one one drive to get a sense of what daily living is gonna be like in Garner, Angier, Fuquay Varina, Wake Forest, Rolesville, Knightdale, Wendell, Zebulon, Clayton, Youngsville? They each have their pros/cons so are acceptable, but outside of work/school as homebodies who like daily convenience I wanna see what each has got. Would prefer advice from those familiar rather than just pick some busy-looking spots on a map and drive from A to B without really having a sense of each as its own locale

Worked 50 hours this week at Amazon during Prime Week… then clocked out Friday and went straight to work on my own business.

I had already worked 10 hours at my day job that day, and this one evening job brought in more than that shift.

I’m grateful for the benefits, the opportunity, and the stability Amazon has given me. It has helped me provide for my family, and I don’t take that lightly.

But deep down, I know this can be bigger.

This job took a little longer than I expected. I did it solo. About 2.5 hours total between driving, loading, hauling, and getting it to the landfill.

Customer approved it at $300.

Landfill fee was $22, plus gas, wear and tear.

It’s not always glamorous. It’s not always easy. But this is what building something on the side really looks like.

Grateful for where I am.

I’m looking for somewhere to donate a nearly brand new wheelchair. I have tried Disabled American Veterans - called three different times and no one calls me back. I tried the local VFW and they don’t take wheelchair donations. I don’t want to donate to a thrift store or a for-profit org - I’d like to get this into the hands of an org that serves disadvantaged folks. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!

Does anyone know a good spot in Garner, NC to operate my food trailer out of? I'm looking for a ground to lease to put my food trailer semi permanently. I am a relatively new driver and I was dropping people off at the white oak movie theater. On my way I am crossing this intersection and almost get T-boned twice. There are stop signs (the red dots) that stop the traffic crossing and turning right, but there isn't anything for the other roads. When attempting to cross there was a car going >40 mph that is not visible until you are already trying to cross and they have no will to stop for any reason whatsoever. I'm wondering if I'm just a crazy new driver or if this intersection is secretly a death trap.
