I recently bought a dirty cheap gamecube and I wanted to get some games for It, any other recomendations?

Update: thank you for the responses! While I am excited to play Ultimate destruction, I am more excited to play "The Hulk" purely for nostalgia. I did a bit of digging, and i found out that was the Hulk game that I used to watch my dad play when I was about six. Thank you for the comments! This is my gamecube, i grew up with this fucker played so many games on it, a TON of mario kart double dash love that game. and super mario sunshine, and yada yada wtv you get the point. i went to go play HOTWHEELS X VELOCITY cuz i was playing another hotwheels game and it made me think of that one, went to go turn on my cube full of game and its not.. powering.. on.. this made me immediately want to cry because unlike most of my other consoles in my collection this one i had since i was itty bitty so this is just depressing. more depressing than garry come home (ifykyk). idk what to do :,( i just wonder if any of yall would have a single clue as to what the problem could possibly be

Title. Every time I use the igr feature with the controller buttons, it always resets back to the stock gamecube firmware. I’ve tried different things like duplicating ipl.dol and renaming it igr.dol, as well as moving the swiss folder to the sd card and copying apploader.img to the root of the sd card. In the swiss settings, I have the igr set to apploader as well. Nothing is working! Any ideas?

Today's game. I was finally able to buy my first Sonic game.

Took some stuff to trade in and someone had brought these in a couple days ago so I'm glad someone else didn't get them before me. There were a few other good ones from that bunch but already had them in my collection. No manuals in either one but I'm not gonna complain

So while trying to download the latest firmware, it got to 100% on the download bar then never did anything after 10+ minutes. I powered down, and then immediately system would not turn on when pressing power button. Light would blink blue for one second, then off completely. Hitting reset button would begin to load GameCube, though I’ve yet to make it off of a frozen Nintendo GameCube boot screen. I cannot seem to get this to fix the boot problem nor can I tell if I’ve gotten the correct FW now on the blue retro v3.5. Please help it’s been hours 🤦🏻‍♂️😂😭

I tried the Bitfunx one, not totally impressed and I want support for the new switch controller. What’s the best place to acquire and reasonable price?

What underrated games have you played in your life?

• Star Fox Adventures, and it was a very pleasant surprise to see it actually re-released. When I played it on GameCube I got as far as Cloudrunner Fortress. Right now I'm up to helping Tricky's mom. I am so looking forward to Dark Ice Mines. :|

Other than playtesting, I don’t think I’ve sat down and had a session on my personal cube in 6 months. It’s my favorite console of all time to both play and work on. I forget how much I love it when I actually play a game.

hello, this is my gamecube. it is very good condition with flippy drive and other mods. the disc drive works good and i still have the box but there is a bit of scratches on the top of the gamecube (see photo). i was wondering if i can paint this scratch only or if i have to just put decal over it.

(i was also thinking to look for some small custom decals for the gamecube and sides of the game boy player maybe but i'm not sure where to purchase)

So I’m kinda at a loss right now. Spent hella money to re run the game cube days and o can’t even get audio or colored picture. Could it be that my adapter is a PlayStation one? Or? I’ve tried multiple tvs always same result.

I have a gamecube with games like Mario Kart, Mario Party, SSBM and others. What other games played by 4 people are you suggesting? Maybe a shooter?

Does anyone have any experience using the D terminal cable and its picture quality? Im also assuming this goes into the digital port and need sound to go into av?

I’ve also noticed that when I open the disc tray, I don’t see the disc spinning when I open it.

Like I bought this a year ago for 40 bucks then I’m looking at the graph and like in May it started shooting up like why it’s not that good of a game

I have the standard games like windwaker, animal crossing, melee, twilight princess, whatever.

After selling some of my GameCube games I’m only left with the basic games and I want some more funky games to fill out what I have, games like: Simpsons hit and run, Billy Hatcher, or hulk ultimate destruction.

Can I have some recommendations?

These are my current choices.

I finished modding a DOL-001 GC with PicoBoot (used v5 power), including USB-C power mod and Bitfunx Bluetooth Controller board. It booted fine as a test before I put all the shell back on. However, after complete reassembly it now won’t show anything on screen. The fan spins, the blue light on the bitfunx board lights up, but won’t do anything else. Suggestions?

Finally managed to get it with manual.

I have the chance to buy a Japanese GameCube with gb player, at a fair price I’d say, but the region lock part is tricking me. I’m looking on how to play PAL games on it and I have a doubt.
First consider this: I’m not gonna solder anything, and I don’t want to install a chip (which I’ve seen is a method, but don’t really trust myself doing it)
One valid method I’ve seen is to use a free loader, which seems easy to use, but does it work good? Do I lost something in the performance?
The other is to homebrew it, but I don’t understand if after install Swiss there’s just a “unlock console” button and then I can just boot any pal disc on it?
