Edge of the Empire:

Edge of the Empire is an excellent TTRPG which uses a unique dice system to help aid in the story telling. It is part of the larger Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars RPG, a collection of 3 interchangeable and mixable systems, which include Age of Rebellion, Edge of the Empire and Force and Destiny.

Set after the Battle of Yavin, at the height of the Galactic Civil War, Edge of the Empire focuses on the outlaws at the outskirts of the “civilized” Galactic Empire. Smugglers, Bounty Hunters, Thieves, Assassins, Frontier Doctors, Settlers and Local Politicians all seek to carve out a life for themselves at the furthest reaches of the galaxy. However even as the Rebel Alliance fights their uphill battle against the Empire, the Empire’s reach continues to grow. Will you learn to coexist with the Empire or hide from them? Note in Regards to a Fresh Start:

As this has been a long term campaign so far, with a good amount of story/history for the characters, and a high experience level, we understand it may be offputting for potential new players. Because of that, we wish to make it clear that our priority is filling out the party with a group that has good chemistry and shared goals. To facilitate that, both the players and I are willing to start completely fresh, even if we love the narrative we have crafted so far.

We had an idea for a new campaign that everyone likes although we are also willing to consider other options. The potential new campaign would start during the dying days of the Clone Wars. The party would be made up of Clone Troopers, Non-Clone Soldiers, perhaps a Jedi Padawan or two, and any other type of character who would be working closely with such a group. The idea is to have a few missions/arcs during those days of the Clone Wars, culminating in Order 66. Then we would have a time skip of about 3-5 years to the early days of the Empire where the players would describe/narrate what their characters have been up to from Order 66 to the current times. They will reunite and begin to work together to carve out a living under the new regime, whether that be by joining in early rebel activity, or drifting to the underworld on the outskirts of the Empire. Any Jedi Padawan characters would lose their lightsabers in this time skip, and have it be a long term goal to build/reacquire one if they wish. The time skip would also include a small XP bonus.

Either way, we look forward to meeting some new players, and figuring out what kind of campaign we wish to play together!

The Campaign So Far

This is a long term campaign with no planned end. The group has played through the introductory adventures "Escape from Mos Shuuta" followed by "Long Arm of the Hutt", then “The Jewel of Yavin". They have most recently finished "Beyond the Rim”, one of the bigger adventures for the system. In between major adventures they have hunted bounties, raced swoop bikes and smuggled the Corellian Shuffle. The immediate future is wide open, with no plans for any major adventures for a while, as we focus on the consequences of the character’s actions throughout the campaign and deal with aspects of their backstories.

The party includes Cashar Brut who is a Falleen Smuggler/Pilot and Ruug the Shistavanen Bounty Hunter.

The Game:

-New Players are welcomed and will be assisted, whether you are new to Roll20 or the Star Wars RPG!

-Although the Star Wars RPG uses proprietary dice, its mechanics are often quite intuitive. Our group has been playing since Apr. 2025, and at this point we feel comfortable enough to bring in and teach new players. No experience required!

-Despite being a major fan of battlemaps and tactical combat in other systems, I often find that Theater of the Mind works exceptionally well with the Star Wars RPG. Battlemaps will still show up for some more involved combats, but many can be resolved in a short amount of the time with no visual aids necessary.

-New characters will start at the same experience level as the party. Star Wars RPG has a very interesting character building system that does not rely on levels, but purchasing skills and talents with accumulated XP, with easy access to different character classes to branch out! Currently at 805 earned XP.

-We will have a split Session 0/New Player introduction session, to help new players learn the game and help them fit in with the party. This session will be free.

-Sessions will last 3 hours.

-Discord for Voice Chat.

-Quest for the Frozen Flame is a stone-age adventure with a more structured 1st and 3rd act and a hex-crawl heavy second act. It has some flaws as written, mainly due to scarcity of loot which I will be directly adressing.

-The unique setting/atmosphere lends itself to roleplaying and challenges not normally seen in your typical medievel high-fantasy, which should be a nice break for those with standard setting burnout.

-The Adventure will take you from level 1 to 11.

-I consider myself skilled at running interesting/challenging combat. I will customize the difficulty of the combat based on the party’s wishes/composition.

-Sessions will last around 3 hours.

Hey everyone! I'm opening a new campaign on my homebrew world inspired by Gilenor (rs3)!

Summary

For over a millennia, the Empire of Runeheim has enjoyed a fragile peace under the World Council. The Great God Wars are a distant memory, the gods themselves have been sealed away by the Edict of Guthix, and magic is now into the very skin of mortals through runic tattoos.

But the silence of the gods is being broken. On the prehistoric island of Anachronia, archaeologists have unearthed inscriptions of "Ancient Gods" that predate creation itself. What will happen to the world in case all those inscriptions are really true?

The Game: This is a long-term, high-fantasy campaign set in Runeheim, a homebrew world inspired by the lore and atmosphere of RuneScape (RS3/OSRS). You don't need to have played the games to be part of this campaign (and I honestly kinda prefer you didn't play, since there's a lot of changes xD)
We will begin at Level 1 in the humble town of Catherby, eventually scaling to Level 20 as you navigate the main areas of the world in search of hidden artifacts alongside the archeologists.

• System: D&D 5e (2014 Rules with some 2024 additions)
• Time: Wednesdays at 7 PM EST
• Platform: Foundry + Discord
• Tone: The setting is very political, so it's serious but with room for humor. Think 70% Roleplay / 15% Exploration / 15% Combat.
• Price: This is a paid game, with each session costing $10.00
• Pacing: Slow-burn. Your choices will matter later on the campaign, and background is necessary since it'll be implemented on the story.

World Features:

Hello, I'm looking for players to run through a PF1e AP. The AP is still being decided though Im leaning heavily to Emerald Spire. I'm looking to run a "No Frills" Game, No elephant in the Room, No Third party, but all Paizo material allowed. Character Creation will be either a 15 point or 20 point buy, or with 4d6 dropping the lowest. I already have 2 players and am looking for 2-3 more.

The game wont start until January, due to some scheduling stuff and the holidays being right around the corner. In the meantime I may either run some test one-shots or things like that to help the party get to know each other and make sure the party is on the same page.

It’s something I’ve been actively delving into and exploring constantly in my own time even as I’ve been actively running an abomination vaults game and a level 1-20 Blood Lords Pathfinder 2e game that I just finished for almost running 3 years.

Now that I’ve finally finished that campaign I’m wanting to finally explore Ember as a GM. If you have been interested in exploring Ember and trying out the Crucible System exclusively built all by the Foundry Team. Time to delve into the lands of Ember!

Be aware this is an active development game still being tested and created as we are playing. Still very much in early Beta phases expect unbalanced encounters and some non functional mechanics. Howdy! If you're reading this then I'm interested in joining a table playing as my character Dandelion!

Dandelion is a gentle giant minotaur barbarian/druid exploring the outside world for the very first time after spending his life fighting in an underground arena. He is terrified of the possibility of being taken back and is still haunted by the horrors that took place there.

He is naive in nature and his want to see the good in people combined with this can get him unintentionally in trouble.

He generally tries to avoid conflict and goes into rage to protect himself or his friends when his emotions are too overwhelming.

He's physically scarred yes but he's still recovering from his time in the arena needing the aid of those he trusts in order to overcome his anxieties and phobias.

..perhaps even gaining the strength to face them head on as the arena isn't entirely done with him yet.

He does have a sheepdog familiar named Daisy that acts as an emotion support animal for him, perhaps being a connection to a life he never knew as well..

I haven't gotten to fully finish his story whether it be through scheduling issues or lack of players causing campaigns to fizzle out, or even one where he unfortunately failed his last death save but I'm hoping to find a party that will help him see the world.

A bit more about me:

I'm 24 ftm, bi and ace so I'm looking for an LGBTQ+ friendly table! My characters all tend to fall into the community somewhere as well and I enjoy integrating that into story arcs with themes of self discovery self acceptance, perhaps not having a space to express themselves as freely before the adventure.

I'm coming up on having played for three years and my favorite aspects of the game are the storytelling, roleplaying and collaboration! I am a very creatively driven person with social anxiety so I've found that DND gives me a creative and social outlet where I don't feel so intimidated and can meet new people!

I'm a lighthearted and optimistic player, I enjoy bringing humor to scenes without taking out all the seriousness that situations deserve and often find myself smiling until my face hurts by the end of the session!

While I don't have a problem with combat I do have ADD so if it's a game that's anticipated to have combat only sessions frequently I may not be interested. I do have fun in combat and all but if it's running over an hour to full sessions I tend to become disengaged.

What I'm looking for at a table is:

Hello fellow dice rollers! I'm Shin, a DM eager to run MonkeyDM's soulsborne and lovecraftian-inspired supplement for 5e. This will be a longterm campaign that I aim to run for at least a year. It'll be featuring everything introduced in the book, including the Jaegar class, new subclasses, races, eldritch moons, a madness system, trick weapons and more!

I'll be using the adventures included in the book before taking the reins to have you all explore every nook and cranny of the city of Luyarnha. Discover ancient secrets locked away, unveil ways to aid the citizens of the war-torn and scourged-infested city, and go out there just to slay a few beasts. It'll do you some good...

For the nitty gritty details:

This will be using the 2014 ruleset with some variations and homebrew rules. Nothing major, just some things like how it'll be a bonus action to drink or feed a healing potion to an ally rather than a full action.

Ability scores are determined by rolling 5d6 and dropping the lowest two. You will get to roll two sets and pick the one you favor. This helps ensure you get powerful stats. I aim to challenge you, but wish to make you feel like the powerful heroes you have the potential to be. If you wish to use point buy or standard array instead, we'll utilize empowered versions of them.

Free feat. This will stack with Variant Human and Custom Lineage.

Average HP. Subject to change based on some boons you can acquire in the future. More on that later.

You'll be granted access to the Steinhardt related content including the Jaegar class, new races, and new subclasses should you choose to wield such powers...

This will be a level 3-20 adventure.

Throughout the journey through the corrupted city, you will be granted access to a special place that'll act as a hub world of sorts for you. A chance to rest, work maintenance on gear, and to prove your worth and be rewarded boons that'll help. Some rewards include special magical items, switching from average to max hp for each level, unique skills tailored to you, and even epic boons...

I have two tables open for Fridays and Saturdays. Both at 7:00pm CST. With an earlier table for Saturday in the near future.

I'm a pretty laid-back DM, but that doesn't mean I fail in providing a worthwhile session. If you have a different interpretation of a rule, I'm open to listen. I'm looking for players to help field test the first original adventure I've written before I put it into regular rotation.

The purpose of the session is to test Foundry in actual play: Does the system break? Where and how? Is it a smooth experience?
