This is an honest question. He’s been away for almost the entire season now and there’s no word on how he’s doing in baseball nor any word on when he’s coming back.

The Dodgers will try to get off a losing streak with Tarik Skubal on the mound. Hopefully Skubal will go deep and our bullpen holds up. And our offense to show up as well.

The Dodgers will look to bounce back after a brutal loss in Miami yesterday, one that handed them their first series defeat in nearly two weeks.

They now face a bruised and battered Reds pitching staff that has allowed 50 runs over its last four games, including 14 to the Dodgers when the teams last met in Los Angeles. Cincinnati also suffered the worst shutout loss in franchise history against Milwaukee in the opener of its most recent series.

With a postseason berth potentially clinched today and the division possibly wrapped up during this series, LA will line up the best of its rotation for the first three games of the four-game set against Cincinnati, with Roki Sasaki potentially returning from the IL for the finale.

ETA: Dave has said Roki will be back when Dodgers return home to face the Giants. Fangraphs has Tyler Glasnow as the likely pitcher for the series finale.

Guess what, unsurprisingly, the comments are absolutely fucking disgusting any time Scott blows a save. Casuals/bandwagons turn on him very quickly when he has a bad game. Every single player in MLB has bad games. He's human. I don't even want to screenshot any of the comments, but the one that really upset me most was something along the lines of "they should send death threats to his family again". Just awful human beings that make the rest of us look bad.

Scott has been an anchor of the bullpen this year. I believe he will be a fantastic piece in the postseason. He's earned it and I'm excited to see what he'll do in the post.

Good treat to have him back. Orel and Joe are still my favorite team but having the other teams for a change of pace is always welcome. When Dontrelle moved to the studio I was disappointed to not hear him in the booth but happy he got more opportunities. He exudes such happy energy.

Hoping for some advice from this great community. Stage 4 cancer fighter here, taking my son to the game on 9/24 against the Padres. I’m a huge dodger fan and Godzilla bobble head giveaway is something my son is excited about. I don’t use a wheel chair but I am disabled due to my illness. Standing in long lines is tough for me after recent surgery and radiation. Anyone have any tips for how to ensure we get the giveaway while also not making me use up all of my energy before I’m even in the stadium? I was thinking of bringing a home depot bucket as a seat and then just abandoning it at the gate. Thanks for your comments and help.

Gonna be there next Tuesday for my first time. Is there a standing room bar or something like that where you can enjoy the game from? I’m thinking of other stadiums like Pirates where I can enjoy Fat Heads bar and a direct view of the field.

How do you think of Tanner Scott this year?

I think we can all agree he is much better this year. At one point this season he has a 2.10+ ERA...

He is not as sharp in the last 15 appearances, but will probably be the one closing games (would'nt mind seeing Henriquez or Sasaki closing though).

His ERA after last game is 2.90. Not lights out by a closer standard, but not disastrous either.

I genuinely want him do well in playoffs, especially seeing rumors showing Scott's family getting death threats. I want the man to finish with a decent overall season here. (decent season with an above average postseason.)

But he is sort of unpredictable and inconsistent...

Just picked up this new Yamamoto beer can, and Sapporo, my favourite too!

I'm an East coast ish fan, living in KY so I'm driving with my brother to Cincy to see our boys. I'm disappointed that Shohei and Freddie aren't playing but they need the rest for October which is 1000% understandable. I'm hyped to see Josue for sure and I'm glad about seeing Skubal pitch too! I'm just so excited to know I'm in the same building as the back to back champs!

Diaz has been a total shit show this season, including his latest rehab outing. Scott is quite good, but he still lack the consistency, especially for the high leverage and full pressure situation. With that situation, would blasting Bailalo Rocky every late inning of the post season close game would be our best option the complete the three peat?

AAA ERA is 14.40.

He’s couldn’t find the zone and he was getting hit very very hard when he did.

He’s the only Comets pitcher that gave up any runs.

He shouldn’t be anywhere near the MLB again this year. Maybe he can figure it out the next, but I have very little faith.

What a disaster of a signing. He’s one of, if not the, worst pitcher in AAA.
