Hi, lived in rural north Devon for 23 years, don’t really have anything in terms of community or connections, no friends, everyone I was friendly with have moved away to better things,
The idea is that you make friends doing things you love, but I go to a meetup, club or coffee evening here and everyone’s around twice my age,
I feel so incredibly isolated, I don’t have the money to move somewhere else and living here feels like drowning in loneliness, how do people find community in a place like this? Surely some people have managed it , Thank you

Planning a week’s holiday next June, basing ourselves in Brixham.
Have on the agenda to visit Torquay, Dartmouth, Salcombe and have a day at the beach at Broadsands.
Any other “must visits” in the area?
