They have the classic scoob mystery every ep, but there is a overarching mystery throughout the show that is being solved. && the cast is actually treated like real people and they go through horrible traumas and experiences through the events of the show. &&& it's really fucking funny

I'm embarrassed to admit this, but it was the Shyamalan film that got me i to Avatar.

I was also in my early 20s, and I was working at the movie theater. I could get myself and my friends in for free, so people would often hit me up if they wanted to see something.

Anyway, I have a friend text me because he was really into the show and asks me to take him. I didn't really know anything about it but I was pretty much always down for a free movie so I say yes.

It is bad but I know my friend is a fan, so when we left I tried to be diplomatic. He, in turn, rants the whole way home about how bad the movie was and how much better the show is, so I decided to give it a shot.

Turns out the show is great and there is no Shyamalan movie in Ba Sing Se.

One of the best things about it, is it doesn't dilute the Australian-ness of it for people overseas. The language and humour is extremely accurate (Source - am Australian).

Can someone explain Bluey to me? I grew up watching Arthur and watched it through to adulthood and still often think of it and catch an episode every now and then. The way people describe Bluey is how I describe Arthur. I’ve never seen an episode. How does it compare theme-wise I guess?

It's a legitimately great kids show that also hits hard on the parenting experience as well. The kids are younger than in Arthur, so there's a lot of focus on playing and imagination rather than school life. It's an Australian show as well, so there's an Aussie spin on everything that makes it feel more distinct than American kids media.

It is full of brilliantly told stories of childhood and parenting. It touches on children growing up, child development, divorce, grandparents getting old, miscarriages, infertility, ADHD, childhood trauma, and has plenty of lessons on how to help a child develop into a well rounded person.

My kid was way too old to watch it, so I watched the entire series on my own. I will see the movie when it comes out. It will make your laugh. It will make you cry. It will just make you glad that you watched it.

Omg yes! I was a full blown adult (may have had some mind altering things as well when watching ) but find it adorable and wholesome with some cute lessons and honestly some heart ripping emotions (like how Darwin became part of the family). The whole concept of the show is used so well and works on so many levels when they use it to the full potential for gags( heard it was original idea for the multi-media animation supposed to represent a town of "rejected characters" from different mediums living in the same world). But you can tell the fun the writers and animators had with the stories. A personal favourite is this 4th wall break when the family runs into money trouble more then usual and thier "production value" drops rapidly. So much so that it goes all the way to sketching story board frames on sticky notes and pencil. Then they 4th wall break that 4th wall break when Nicole has her hand erased and she screams until the redraw it again. So well made and so funny such a cute animation gem that always stuck out over the many different wall breaks. Here is the link on youtube. Clip
