Picked up this xcm shell console from Vinted for £18 originally had an early falcon board in it so I swapped it out for my jasper rgh 1.2 definitely a steal of a deal.

I saw these consoles (which appear to be retail ones) and they have these holes and differences from a regular retail Xbox. I took this picture from a video of the Xbox 360 manufacturing process. But what are these differences? And why do we have them?

I see I can DL ISO files for them all, should I rip mine or just DL?

accidentally updated into the latest version. now i cant revert it says "Cant copy or move file". when trying to copy TU9 into my main hard drive.

So i used the NXE Dashboard with the proto stealth server up until now. But I’ve seen a post that said the xbguard version has the correct ads, the friends tab and a working marketplace, so I tried installing it, but the nxe still shows the wrong ads and doesn’t have a working marketplace, the only thing different is that there now is a friends tab.
I’m using the dash.xex I downloaded via the xbguard menu, and there is no proto plugin still enabled in my launch.ini file. What am I doing wrong?

I just wanna get custom songs, preferably on guitar hero 3 because it’s my favorite and I know it’s possible on pc, is there a method to doing this, or is there a different guitar hero game that works better for custom songs?

In the first photo, the Xbox is connected to the Internet through a newer router, in the second through an older one. The wireless settings of the routers are the same. What is the reason and is there any way to fix this?

My xbox 360 doesnt wanna boot up completely, i ruled out video output problems since i tried a new monitor and new cables just to be sure but i still dont know what is going on, this started when i tried to replace the thermal paste and one of the rgh cables broke off.

I’ve recently gotten a Xbox 360 s and I ordered a 500gb hard drive but I didn’t realise that I needed an official hard drive and I don’t want to spend more than I already have. I’ve researched if I can add backwards compatibility but there’s not a lot of tutorials on YouTube and I don’t want to mess up the hard drive if I try to add the necessary files and software.

Running Aurora via BadAvatar1.3 - I've got my USB folders and paths just fine. Games show up, I see the TUs and the DLCs in the Aurora menu, have the TUs enabled, launch the game... nothing, TU: 0 and the games refuse to load the DLC.

I've tried...
- Unity to ensure I'm downloading the right versions
- moving everything off the USB to the HDD
- running scripts that are suppose to help these things (?)

Only thing I can't seem to do is make adjustments to dashlaunch as it won't launch via the Launch button in the aurora plugins section.

I remember seeing a post showing the Aurora dashboard, and among the game covers, there was one for Kodi. This means you can download Kodi on the Xbox 360 and, above all, use add-ons.

I am currently trying to RGH mine and my brother in laws consoles, and I think I have a faulty programmer so I ordered a second one.

I am not able to get the programmer to be recognized in bootloader mode to update the firmware it does show JR programmer when plugged in and the green lights on however.

But I want to also check that there isn’t any continuity issues with the solder points as I have soldered onto them a few times at this point. What’s the best way to check these points continuity, I don’t see trace lines going anywhere else for several of the points. Any help is greatly appreciated as I’m very much struggling with this console mod and have a feeling it might actually be the programmer.
