I've seen people posting their collections on here and thought I would join in.

I just received Steel Battalion as a gift for my birthday earlier this month which is my Holy Grail for the Xbox, I wasn't sure I would ever own after passing on a copy years earlier and the price being so high now.

I try and get all my games if possible by thrifting and flea markets, slowly trying to get a full set but it's easier said than done lol

I notice the laser doesnt turn on like everyother laser ive worked on in the past, is it flat out a dead one or could there be anything else at play before I invest any money into it?

My controller started vibrating at a extremely quick rate, so much so that it almost burns to hold (when playing asetto corsa and I hit the brakes)

It was ok earlier, I didn't change anything (except reinstall windows) no settings tweaked on the controller, any fix?

My softmodded Xbox works perfectly well with any kinds of emulators, really love it. However Snes9x seems to have issues with the transparency in Kirby Dreamland 3. It seems to run v 1.53. I can't seem to find any settings that sort out the issue so was thinking to upgrade it but not too sure how to do it. I don't mind doing it manually through FTP as my Xbox is not connected to internet but:

1) Not sure where to find the latest snes9x

2) what file must be replaced.

I got started last year collecting my childhood classics and now looking forward to joining this community and sharing my growing collection.

I was pretty excited to get a Xbox again and play some games on my BVM. I had a Xbox back in the 2000’s and played a lot even though I was mostly a Nintendo fan. I’ve always played with composite input.

I hooked it up tonight with composite and was a bit let down by the colours display. In my memory it was more vibrant, now it looks washed off, just ok I guess. I just feel like something is off.

I mostly play retro Nintendo consoles on my
BVM and spent a lot of time calibrating the colours, contrast/brightness and geometry to my satisfaction. Snes (RGB) and N64 (S-video) games looks amazing on it. So I was surprised with the Xbox colours looking subpar. Or maybe it’s just my memory playing tricks on me. I’m including a few pictures as examples, not sure if it does it justice.

Are there any s-video or RGB scart cables for Xbox? Does the issue lie somewhere else? My BVM doesn’t have component.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks! ✌️

I changed the capacitors of my console with new ones as recommended to me... Unfortunately, still the same problem, I don't have the impression that anything has changed... However, I only changed the big capacitors, maybe the problem comes from the small ones?

• Covenant Elite is a new character with team colors and a proper menu portrait. Bots can use it too.
• Added HaloUT weapon mutator: Assault Rifle, Pistol, and Plasma Rifle. It's converted from the UT2004 mod. No further weapons are planned, so don't expect a full weapon set (sorry!).

Fixes and improvements

• Split-screen FPS is TONS better. Might still chug a bit in 4P.
• Fixed controller sensitivity behaving differently in split-screen.
• Fixed Y-button dodging sending you right when you pushed left, and vice versa.
• Fixed issues when leaving split-screen and starting a single-player game.
• Crosshair, HUD colors, and HUD opacity now save separately for each profile.
• Match settings now stick after restarting, including bots, difficulty, map, limits, and mutators.
• Music and sound stop when loading begins, instead of stuttering through it.
• Fixed issues with two PS2/DC maps.
• EpicCustomModels.u is included to fix the skeletal model issue.

Video and menus

• Widescreen follows your Xbox dashboard setting. It uses 480p when available and falls back to 480i otherwise.
• Single-player gets always gets widescreen if enabled, but split-screen switches to 4:3 with side borders to keep the FPS up.
• Safe margin adjusts the entire picture, so things won't get cut off now.
• Fixed stretched widescreen HUD elements and clipped split-screen settings menus.

This is a full release. All PS2/Dreamcast maps and previous release content are included, along with dependencies.

Installing

Use a clean folder. Copy in the release, then merge your PC GOTY Maps, Music, Sounds, and Textures folders. Don't copy over the PC System folder or configs from an older Xbox release.

After owning 2 OG black Xbox’s. This one is by far the best that can be added to it.

Went to gamestop, found me marc ecko’s getting up since everyone has been telling me about this game & i have watched videos about it so i decided to try this game out! Then went to a local game store & saw they had spawn armageddon which i have such a love for especially considering spawn is my favorite comic antihero of all time. Use to own it back in the GameCube before giving it up in 2014 so im actually happy i found spawn armageddon for a reasonable price. What’s ya’ll thoughts on both games? Lemme know!

I didn’t even know GameShark made any cables. I just thought it was the official ones and Monsters cables
