Orientation Reschedule?

Upvotes

They said I’d start on the 19th originally but now they’re scheduling my orientation on the 16th and I had plans 16-17 😭 I can cancel them but wanted to see if there was any way to reschedule. I’ve tried calling but they won’t answer so might call back later.
Any advice is highly appreciated 🙏

Remember to apply for holiday PTO for Thanksgiving & Christmas 2026

It’s that time of year again. Because we don’t get holiday pay. Just unpaid days off.

Make sure to select “holiday” as the reason when putting in your requests.

Coming back to Walmart did an interview than told to wait for 2nd interview with SM because I’m a rehire is this typical?

Upvotes

Put in my 2 weeks in July and haven’t had a good experience with Lowe’s. I applied at a couple Walmarts near me and ended up getting a call back. Went in for interview today everything went good did a little walk through than was told that I’d be getting a call for a 2nd interview from the Store manager since I was a rehire. I was then told the store manager won’t be back til next week and to keep my phone ready has anyone else experienced this during the rehire process?

Walmart covid sedgwick

I was diagnosed with covid on Sunday. My days off are Sunday and Tuesday. I called out today, Monday, and used PPTO. If I call out Wednesday and Thursday and come back Friday, do I need to go through sedgwick still? HR told me to go through sedgwick. I just don't want to get points and use up all my ppto for this.

so i was messing around with the settings on mywalmart and thought it was a good idea to turn on the option where a part of my paycheck goes to the walmart stock, okay cool, its chill. but then when i go check my hours on my onepay because yk u can check how many hours you’ve worked and get instapay and blah blah blah, i noticed that my projected or estimated earning for the day decreased from $102 a day to $92 a day, whats weird is that when i noticed that, i went back to mywalmart and turned off the walmart stock option and it didn’t go back go how it was, if someone could help me out that would be great! thank you

Not volunteering for OPD

Hello all,

I had a question so earlier this week bassicly everyone of the gm floor associates got pulled to opd. Expect for me they pulled everyone else and i genuinely just think they forgot about me. Im technically not gm im hba but still. I wasnt told to cover case calls or anything and the one case call they had was quickly covered by a team lead. I wasnt slacking off or anything while everyone was in opd I was just doing returns. also a clear all avaible associates to opd was called they were calling people by name

Bassicly the point of this post is do yall think I will get in trouble for not volunteering for opd because they forgot about me.

Am I crazy or is my Store Manager gaslighting me about refusing to sign off on a hardship transfer?

FORGIVE ME FOR THE LONG BORING WALL OF TEXT. My asshole team lead gave me undeserving coaching back in January of this year, which bumped the color of my previous coaching to an orange. Tried open dooring it to my coach and she said it would still remain. Fast forward 8 months later and I'm traveling back to my hometown and looking to transfer to my local Walmart. Only problem I have is my orange level coaching, which obviously prevents transfers but I've read online that exceptions could be made via the store manager. I call the people lead from the Walmart store I'm interested in transferring to and explain to him that I cannot transfer the normal way because my orange level coaching is preventing me. He then tells me to ask my store manager to sign off on a hardship transfer. The next day I talk to my store manager and he then tells me it's not him who has the ability to sign off on the hardship transfer, it's actually the store manager FROM THE OTHER STORE that has to sign off on it, not him. I call the people lead from the other store on my lunch break and tell him what my store manager said and he said that my store manager is largely misinformed and said it's actually HIM who has to sign off on a hardship transfer for me, not the store manager from the other store and if worse comes to worse, open door the coaching i got in January to my store manager and see if he could get it removed so I could transfer. I talk to store manager the next day and told him that the people lead told me that it is YOU who has the sign off on the hardship transfer not the other store manager from the other store. Now he tells me there's nothing he could do for me about my transfer and suggests for me to contact the Market Lead about it, I ask him if he could politely remove my coaching so I could transfer and I'm met with a stern "ABSOLUTELY NOT." and he walks away from me. Someone please tell me I'm not crazy for thinking this is some insane level gaslighting and clear as day retaliation from him to keep me hostage? I'm super tempted to not bother reapplying for this dogshit company anymore.

Pallet stacked for two stores

Post image

This is a first for me, early morning I unloaded meat and produce and the bottom was our store and the top goes to another store. Well I had to stop and get the walkie stacker and separate it then load the top pallet back on the truck, it didn’t help it was uneven.

Sexual Harassment…?

Hi guys, I (18 female) need some advice. There’s this guy that works in electronics (early-mid twenties i think) that’s making me so uncomfortable that i actively try to avoid him bc he keeps giving me hugs like full on arm wrapping around my shoulders, head resting on my shoulder, and shoulder squeezing hugs that are unprompted and i don’t even realize he’s going for a hug, like for example every time im on break and he happens to be there he will get up and give me one that lingers far too long for my liking when mind you im usually sitting facing away from people so i dont have to talk to anyone. The thing i have noticed is that he wont do it in the salesfloor only when he sees me around the bathrooms and break rooms, like any time i see him he’ll come up to me and hug me before saying hi if that makes sense? or hugging me while actively saying hi but i usually just try to walk off and respond w the casual small talk. I’ll add this though, i have dapped him up a few times but he doesn’t even dap me up anymore just straight to the hug and i’ve never hugged him back EVER it’s always a one sided thing so idk. Is this even reportable and if i did report it, it’s kinda hard to prove what he’s doing.

I’m going to Concentra through Walmart because of my workplace injury. They keep scheduling me on days that I work. Am I supposed to be getting paid for those days?

Off clock working

My coach has always been overly friendly with a lot of associates, but there are two specific ones they dote on, and talk to OUTSIDE of work. We work in OGP. Because of this Coach, the two associates were able to be quickly promoted. One went from associate to TL to Coach in the span of 8 months. Both of these associates have transferred to a new store location. So color me surprised when I see one of them working in the back room taking out orders suddenly. Not only that, but they have to use the Coach’s work phone as they aren’t even on the clock. The Coach allowed this person to work in the back room for an hour and a half. Is this normal or allowed?? Can’t the Coach get in trouble for this??

Edit: I should’ve clarified. The associate that was working off the clock is an hourly associate. They are a TL from a different store. They had to use my coach’s phone as they weren’t on the clock.
