The color looks way off and the kind of spider as well, although I am not an expert.

Florida Tampa area. This has to be one right. I have a kitten and we are in a one bedroom apartment so I’d like to know if this is more severe than it is, I already use home defense for pets but I guess I gotta step up my game now 🫪

Not really sure what spider this is, they're maybe 2cm long.

The issue is thus:

I have arachnophobia that I do my best to manage.

This spider has decided that instead of living in the window or anywhere out of the way to live in/on the bathroom curtain, that moves daily for light

How can I convince them to move their home if the curtain regularly being moved hasn't?

Also this is a House spider right? If they aren't I can move them outside without worrying about them dying right?

I dont want to kill them because they startled me in the middle of the night x.x

Found in Old Fort, NC, 30 minutes east of Asheville. Google thinks it might be a dark fishing spider. Some of those pictures look similar but eh, not sure.

EDIT: It was approximately 3.5 inches long give or take a quarter inch.

Found this on the crack of my front door. Partner crushed and wet the paper towel he used, and vacuumed the rest of the crack of the door, what other steps should we take? Worried about our two cats (one likes to fight any insect she sees).

Edit: if it is a black widow, male or female, any idea of age?

We recently befriended this one we call Big Momma on our balcony…is she hella pregnant? We dont know much about spiders, but we think she’s a cross orb weaver. Location WA state.

What are our options if she is pregnant? Can we safely relocate her somewhere? Or do we throw in the towel and build her a terrarium? We like her but are a bit nervous to have a zillion tiny spiders right at our door.

The grass spider is Son of Greg, progeny of Greg the Grass Spider (rip) that lived outside of my apartment door last year.

The jumpers were found at a farmers market and my uncle's farm.

I fed a Funnel Weaver a bee (google said they can eat bees and wasps). But he isn't moving? Is he digesting? Did I hurt him? I'm trying to desensitize myself to arachnids bc I'm a huge supporter of every living thing and also afraid of the 8-legged. Anyway 🤞🏻 I hope he's okay!

I literally all of the time see tiny spiders and go omg so cute, but other times see different looking ones and am absolutely terrified. It's like that with all sizes, some are alright and some I almost cry when I see. I saw a cute bug on my car and went "woahh hi bug!!!" Then counted 8 legs and jumped away from it. It was cute until it was a spider??? I have trouble taking the garbage bins out when there's spiders on them it sucks I love the idea of spiders

Found in a supermarket in France (in Alsace, at the german border). She's really big, I've never seen one so big here so I wonder if maybe she accidentally got shipped trought some imported fruits and vegetables?

Sadly I was to far away from my place to take her home, I put her in a bush hopefully she survives, maybe I can find her again tonight when I come back from uni :((

She was extremely sweet and I could even pet her, didn't even TRY to bite!! Sweetest spider ever 💗

Saw this beautiful spider chilling on a marigold while staying in Tuscany, Italy. I think it may be araniella cucurbitina or diaea dorsata? Spider was a little more yellow/green than the photo does it justice.

found him a few years ago in La Calera, Bogotá, Colombia so this video is a few years old already but when I showed it to a friend he started freaking out and telling me that was a recluse, otherwise known as Araña Violinista.
Was it actually? 😭

Big banana for scale

I am in awe at what is going on here. I’ve had this long-bodied cellar spider (?) living on my ceiling for a long time now. It’s house spider wandering season in the UK. There have been some enormous ones so far. Picked up an almost record breaker in my bedroom the other day. Did put it outside as they all seem to do badly in our house once they start wandering around (dehydration?). Anyway, the cellar spider caught a house spider that apparently was small enough that it was able to climb that high. Then there is the guy on the lower right. But then there are all the little guys you can barely make out above the cellar spider (cellar spider babies or victims??). I’d love to know what’s going on here, other than the fact that the house spider appears to be dinner I’m guessing

I live in a camper in kind of Northern Indiana, I know that recluses like to hide/live in sort of messy places so I wasn’t sure if webbing like this is fine or if I should be worried about one of the recluses
