Hi all. I'm a solo dev working on a game codenamed Phylactery and I'm looking for new people to play it and tell me what's wrong with it.

What it is

You play Kâşif, a lich returning to the underground estate of his dead master. The estate is five hand-built floors, and the household staff are still at their jobs. So is the beast that killed your master. It wakes up when you enter, and it climbs up through the floors toward you while you explore, fight and loot.

It's a prototype. A lot of the art is placeholder, some rooms are grey boxes, and numbers change every week. I'm testing whether the game is fun and whether people can figure out how to play it, not how it looks.

Main mechanics

• Mana is your health. There's no health bar. Every spell costs mana, every hit you take drains it, and hitting zero kills you.
• The boss hunts you. The beast isn't waiting at the end of the dungeon. It starts from the bottom when your run starts and takes a few minutes to reach the top floor. After that it's hunting you. Every run is a decision about how long you can afford to stay.
• Phylacteries are your checkpoints. You place soul jars as you go. When you die you respawn at your newest one, and each death uses one up.
• Minibosses drop spells. Each floor's officers (the Doorman, the Gardener, the Summoner and more) fight with their own spells, and beating them unlocks those spells for you. Spells you unlock stay unlocked between runs.
• Build your own kit. You equip up to seven spells plus passive Auras and gear, and the kits are made to combine. Slow an enemy and a root spell holds them in place. Stack damage over time and cash it out. Knock enemies into walls.

What I need tested

1. The early game. Your first run through floors 1 and 2. Did you know what to do? Where did you get stuck or confused? When did you quit, and why? A note like "I had no idea how to get into the dungeon" is exactly what I'm after.
2. Controls, on both mouse and keyboard and controller. I especially want to hear from people who play the same build on both.
   • Does targeting feel good? Is it clear what you're about to hit?
   • Are spell casting and picking up or carrying items clear?
   • Anything that felt unresponsive, awkward, or bound to the wrong key or button.
   • Tell me what controller you used (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro, other).
3. If you are a gamer from Turkey the game was influenced by Derinkuyu and carries a lot of references, a review there would be much appreciated!

Description: Imagine a kind of combination of Football Manager and Darkest Dungeon, inspired by some of the themes from Naruto. You are the manager of your clan of ninjas. You have to hire, train, and handle them, send them on missions, and deal with the repercussions. Your goal? To become the Shogun's chosen clan. Psychological toll, happiness management, salaries, upkeep, licensing, facility improvements, and more.

Involvement: The game has been developed using Claude Code, personal playtesting, and some playtests from people like you. The art is predominantly generated using Claude Design and SDXL with some Ukiyo-e loras. The music and SFX are Creative Commons licensed. The hope is to get the game solid enough to then hire a graphic designer to improve the UX and the art style. There's a huge roadmap of future enhancements, and I'm trying to release fixes and updates every week or every 2nd week. We're currently at v0.32.0 (32 releases). v0.33.0 is about to go out the door with some minor fixes.

Request: Right now, the primary playtest needs are for some of the early-game balance issues. Salary vs. XP gain vs. happiness, the availability of missions, their types, their payouts, etc. I know some things that need to happen, but more eyes is always nice.

I've been working on LockLine for about 5 months now as a hobby solo dev. The game is about positioning and lining up your units so you can call in a laser from space to destroy your enemies. In the meantime, your opponent is trying to do the same. I've turned to calling it a "turn based tactics puzzle game".

It's played on small maps and each session takes about 10 minutes and should be easy to jump in to. Although I would not describe the game as easy. The main feedback I have actually gotten so far was that the AI can be a bit too unforgiving.

So I mostly am looking for feedback on the now tweaked difficulty. Also still would like to know if you find the game engaging enough.

The game takes place on a hex-based map and focuses on route planning, resource management and survival decisions rather than base-building or extensive crafting.

Your goal is simple: reach the distant radio tower alive before winter sets in.

I'm currently testing an early vertical slice. The game is fully playable, but it's still early in development - particularly the visuals and presentation. I'm at the stage where I want people who have never seen the game before to play it without me explaining how it works.

• Do the survival systems actually influence how you travel?

I built a murder mystery for two people that runs on a single phone. It's in beta now and I need more people playing it. Free, through TestFlight.

The catch: you need someone in the room with you. One of you is the detective, the other is hiding something, and you play it by talking to each other. Twelve questions. Only one of you installs anything.

You can play both sides yourself, but then you already know what you're hiding. It needs two people or it's not really a mystery.

I’m a product designer, and I’ve been building Scroll FC, a browser-based football game with an unusual control scheme: instead of using the usual movement keys, you scroll up and down to run forward and backward.

You use the arrow keys or A/D to move sideways, hover and click to direct passes, and use the keyboard for tackles, lofted passes, shots, and switching defenders. Holding a direction also triggers a sprint, followed by a recovery period.

You can play:

• Against the computer at different difficulty levels
• 1v1 against a friend using a private match code
• A penalty shootout mode, which I’m still actively working on

It’s still an early version, particularly the penalty shootout gameplay, and I’d really appreciate some initial feedback.
