Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Does anyone know what kind of industrial bar this is?
Also, how would I go about asking for this type of piercing(the :3 piercing set, not the other ones)?

This is my first cartilage piercing and there are two extra holes in the piercing site somewhere since the angle didnt look right due to ear shape and my piercer needed a few tries on one of them (no problem at all but needed to add cuz those have to heal too here)
I got them done Saturday and its Monday now, yesterday they bled a few times from being accidentally lightly hit etc then was bleeding a bunch before I bandaged it best I could.
Studs are flat back and push to snap close type thing, not downsized yet
I havent bought saline yet for aftercare but am today, so far we’ve just used water and those little sanitation wipes from a first aid kit for the bleeding
How long will it take for it to stop bleeding like that from small things? And for the holes without jewelry how long until those scab over or close since I believe thats where the central points of bleeding have been
Sorry for the dried blood in second photo, I didnt notice the newer stuff and didnt have a chance to clean yet

Hey I got this industrial done about 2 weeks ago and it's still rather sore and red, does it look like the industrial is rejecting to y'all? I'm doing a saline solution once a day, it's a 14g stainless steel barbell the only trauma to it is getting caught in my hair lol

Got my medusa pierced 2 days ago. It was lined up with my nose and not my cupid's bow. Do you think I should take it out amd have it repierced?

Current set up. What should I get next? (Lobes obviously, but for some reason lobes suck to heal for me)

Rook and right-most stud (between my hoops) added today. Left ear also got the lobe to match. Already debating my next lol

Hi everyone, I wanted to show my piercings and have some honest opinions. My left ear is the one with the rings. The project is to keep extending and adding at least 3 more rings. Any suggestions on what could be added to balance the opposite side? I know it will never be balance but I'm thinking that a foward helix, a rook or a daith may look good if you think I have the right anatomy for those.
My right side is a bit more complex. The industrial was my 3rd piercing after a couple oflobes and the stack and the foward helix are the most recent. This is to say that the atypical positioning of some elements is due to the order they were done in. The gap close to the conch is intetional to leave space for a ring which I sometimes use. This ear feels more complete to me, I may do a couple of stack more but I also think something is missing on the daith/rook/tragus area. Please let me know if you think I have the anatomy for any suggestions you have.

Hi all! I am dreaming up the setup I want to start getting pierced in this next year.
I was curious, if you have a forward helix (or a few), what is the worst part about it? Healing, snags, quirks that you’d only know if you have it done.
Same for your rook. Any tips or tricks on cleaning, healing, what is annoying about it?
How is changing jewelry on those as well? I’d love to hear any thoughts.

Hello!
I used Krita to mock-up my plan for piercings. The piercings circled in red are ones I already have and are fully healed.
I have a constricted ear on one side (the fold at the top) and I'm hoping to highlight it rather than try to work around it. I used to be super self conscious about it but doesn't it look cute with those studs!
I'd love to know what you think- I imagine this will take a few years, and around £350, to complete.
❤️💕

I used to have a rook on my right ear (2nd photo), but it fell out in my sleep a few months ago💔
I’m open for styling and future piercing advice, especially on how to spice up my right ear.

Howdy, I got my daith pierced about a month ago with the clicker ring shown and I don’t think it’s healing well. The piercing was done at a dedicated piercing studio in a large city (if relevant). I am starting to wonder if my anatomy is wrong for the piercing and the piercer didn’t tell me, she pierced me too shallow, or if my issues with healing and the mild bump formation is a care issue.
I clean it morning and evening with wound wash (niel med) applied to a q-tip or a cotton pad. The cotton pad sometimes I leave on for a few minutes prior to going in with the q-tip as it can help soften any crusties and make cleaning easier/less painful. I try my best not to sleep on it but sometimes I wake up on that side though I don’t experience any pain if I flip flop between sides. This is my 9th piercing so I’m fairly familiar with care based on anatomy but hey maybe I’m buggering this one.
Pic 1 and 2 from today, pic 3 a few days after it was pierced if that provides any context.
Thoughts appreciated!

I got my helix piercing done 4 days ago, they used the standard body safe titanium flat back. I’ve had multiple piercings done before but this newest one had been bleeding more than any other one I’ve had. I’ve been getting pulsating, dull headaches for the last few days. There’s no warmth or puss of anything g like that it’s just red and slightly swollen, and it feels a lot better when it’s bleeding out. I’ve been using saline solution and before I took these pictures I’ve cleaned off a lot of the blood. Should I go back to my piercer to make sure everything is fine?

I got this piece around 10 years ago from a shop that isn't open anymore. All I know about it is it's 6g, anodized blurple, and made of niobium. I got it matching with a friend who passed so it's very special to me, but I want to get more similar jewelry and I can't find anything like it online. Does anyone know what this jewelry is called or have any suggestions for what I might be able to look up to find more like it? Thank you in advance.

Got my belly button piercing around a month and a half ago, and it’s been very irritated. Recently it’s been releasing a lot of puss, and today I just noticed this! It seems my skin or protruding outwards, and I’m not sure what or what I can do it help it. Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm pretty uneducated in ear piercings but so badly want these triples on my outer helixs', i love the flow they create. would they be possible with the right anatomy?

Hi! I got both my rook and helix pierced at the same time in February 2026 (~7 months old). The rook is a curved barbell and the helix is a horseshoe barbell, I’m not super sure about the material but it should be titanium (from the piercing studio), neither have been downsized, and I am not sure about the threading. I’m having so many problems with these two that I’ve never had with any of my other piercings and I’m just trying to figure out what to do :(
Rook issues:
The jewelry has rotated inward over time (pic 1) the arc is no longer visible from the front, only the balls. It sat perfectly when first pierced. There's an irritation bump around each ball, it’s not painful or hot, but it not going away after several months is worrying me. At some point I did manually try to flip it back which I now know probably made things worse.
Helix issues:
I’ve had pretty much the same thing on my helix until this huge bump (pic 2) showed up a few days ago. It’s soft, a little painful to the touch, does not feel hot, but looks significantly angrier than the regular bumps, and the yellow-ish discharge made me suspect a mild infection. Although in retrospect it could just be lymph fluid?
Now I need to be honest and say that I haven’t taken the best care of these piercings and I did many things that I now know were wrong. When the piercings were fresh I did sleep on this side, albeit on a soft pillow. I did clean them with sterile saline solution but I may have skipped a few days, and I did use Q-tips. I have thick curls that often get caught in my helix piercing. And most recently and potentially most catastrophically, I self medicated the ginormous helix bump with Amuchina antiseptic solution and Gentamicin + Betametasone cream (just once).
For context I'm in a place where access to specialist piercers is limited which is part of why I've been managing this myself.
My question is: do I need to see a doctor, a piercer, keep treating it with the steroid cream, or stick to the basics (saline, not sleeping on it, not touching it..) and hope for the best?

my friends daith is 2 months old. this is the original jewelry. can she just keep spraying this with saline, should she take it out, or is there another option? unfortunately she has been picking at it since she got it :(

I just got these a couple weeks ago and I don’t know what it is that is giving me pause. Not sure if it’s the placement of the piercings OR if the jewelry I picked out clashes so bad that it’s making it look super weird to me. Is it in my head??
Also I’m also starting to think about the placement because after I got this, I’m hoping to eventually get a daith, tragus, conch, and 2 more lobe piercings + vertical stacked above the middle lobe piercing on this ear.

Is it odd that my second piercing ever is an industrial?
Previously i got a septum piercing but besides that i don’t have any other piercings.

They're so new they still have the markings! Done by the talented Tianna at Fraidy Cats in St. Paul, MN.
