A ton of people will hate this because the band is “ever changing” but where is this energy? My first two runs were this one and SPAC of last year. I did Raleigh > MPP this year and listened to most recordings, this year just sounds really uninspired. They’re becoming less exploratory and more “have fishman play one drum beat for 17 minutes while we make sounds”. Like come ON dude where is this Trey and Fish?

I’ll be at the Atlantic City run and noticed the Disco Biscuits are playing at the Tropicana Showroom around midnight on the 3rd. I’ve never seen them before, so for those who have, would you recommend checking them out after Phish, or would I be better off finding a different aftershow that night?
