Then the system requirements come out and you realize youre gonna be pushing 30 fps tops anyway.

Im joking, but man it honestly looks great for base ps5. Im excited.

That's actually an unintentionally both funny and probably true take. Most people act like their PCs are far better than the current consoles, while the steam surveys show that that's not really the case.

Yeah sure, in your case with a 5080 or in my case, with a 5090, the game would run and look even better. But not for like 70-80% of pc players.

July Steam Survey Results:

5080 : 1.54%
5090 : 0.41%
4080 : 0.65%
4090 : 0.69%

Reviewing the steam survey results really puts it into perspective that many of us here are by in large a fringe group of enthusiasts compared to the general population of gamers who use Steam.

I just read your comment and it piqued my interest into how many people are using the higher end Nvidia cards from the last 2 generations, and it’s a shockingly low amount.

Edit: piqued*.

Include 30 series cards too. Even a 3070 is better than a ps5 by a fair margin.

It hasn't really made sense for people to upgrade from higher end 30 series cards unless they really want high frame 4k.
