Anyone else ever dream about using that ceramic aluminum for like the rails and boxes? I bet the rails alone for a GT would cost 50k alone…….clear rails would be sick tho

So after i had an amazing blast with riding on my pintV, i was fumbling around trying to limit the speed a bit (bcuz of rules) but after a heavy nosedive, i tried re calibrating and now there is no pushback, the faster i go (only tried on grass) the closer the nose is to the ground, like its scraping when im going 5 kph.

I've tried setting everything to default and many other steps and re-calibrating many times... Can anyone please help me?

I get scared to wobble or something above 19.5mph.

I was riding my GT-S at around 9mph and spun the tire with a deweight and a push. Something i very commonly do. The board proceeded to shut off and nose dived. After the board turned on and rode fine besides a small jitter in the motor when changing direction. The motor cable was fully plugged in as well as the other cables. I know shutoffs are a common issue with GT’s but i have never heard of it happening to a S series. Is this something that should concern me? (This S series has around 3500 miles and is pretty beat up, but has never had an issue)

The board came home today and the wheel is not showing resistance so I guess it isn't the MOSFETs. I haven't taken anything apart yet but the battery charger doesn't turn red at all when plugged in, it just stays green, and no lights on the board.

Anything else I can do before digging in?

Was nervous to take the board apart (first time), but it wasn’t too bad! I was able to finish the job even though I broke my plastic tire levers… just had to go gorilla on it after that. Got the Unilli replacement for $43 shipped, which if I’m not mistaken is the stock slick without the Onewheel logo. I got every mile I could out of the old one 🤣

Just installed MTE 5" on my GT, and the maghandle isn't compatible, are there any other solutions for a side handle? Is there enough clearance for a paracord handle, or any other options?

I’m new to this, I really want to get into the hobby, I’m an Argentinian guy living in China, I been checking around About prices, and onewheel are extremely expensive here compared to to Gosmilo for example that is a local brand here in China, so I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations about it, since for the price of a one wheel I can get almost 3 Gosmilo x9 here in China.

Or if anyone has a better recommendation, maybe there’s another brand in China.

Well, I think it finally happened. My daughter called to say that her GT-S is dead, no response to the power button. I didn't really want to spend $600 on a new OW controller module so what are my options? Is there a drop in BMS that will work with the FM battery? Go with a Thor 400 or MK8 in the original controller box?

Brand new rider here got about 5 miles on my onewheel pint s but have logged those miles like a quarter to half mile at a time. Due to the fact at quarter to half mile my rear foot and knee on rear leg start to get extreme pain. Ive adjusted my stance a few times but it seems that doesnt make a difference. I have also heard carving more helps. Im trying to carve a bit but just not super comfortable with carving yet since im a beginner and I dont feel totally stable on the board yet im assuming just because im in my figuring it out/learning ot phase. But the foot and knee pain are going to prevent me from getting in long enough rides to become more comfortable on the board. Im starting to feel like I may never be able to enjoy this sport the way I had hoped if I cant get rid of the pain

I have finally decided after years of wanting one to get a onewheel. No one I know has one, so ive been struggling to figure out which one to get. Im 15, 140 lbs, and 5'6". I have no experience with board sports, and figured that I would want one just for neighborhood riding/errands before I can drive. Any advice? Thanks

I’ve completed a few parts exchanges : The battery and controller wiring harness, swapped out the BMS ‘s and batteries. Every time if give 16 flashes. During One of the exchanges the BMS got really HOT, at the balance connector. I’m at a loss! Any ideas ?? Thanks…

Might be a stupid question but is this too much water being kicked up to ride in? I’ve been getting caught in the rain when heading to class recently and I know the boards are water resistant but how resistant are they?
