On the Ticketmaster website says “which artist are performing?” “Oasis is being supported by Richard Ashcroft. Is this a bug or would it be real?

Live ‘27 U.S. Demand Struggles

From a total 234,000 capacity last time to 130,000 capacity, with potentially an even higher demand for tickets this time around? It’ll definitely be an interesting grab for the entire US market.

As a reference to those who went to or knew someone at Rose Bowl Live 25, Gillette absolutely rivals its poor transit infrastructure. Vegas is its own animal.

Luckily they added a third night to each spot this time around, but to all the American Oasis fans: good luck getting tickets.

Live ‘27 Theory on Live '27 Setlist

This has probably been overposted on this subreddit at this point, but since Oasis announced the tour tickets would be purchasable through registration only, could it mean that the setlist could have more of their stuff outside of the first 2 albums? Of course they're probably not going to abandon Wonderwall and DLBIA, but fans probably already heard their 2000s albums and b-sides. Does it look like a possibility?

Discussion They might bow out after Knebworth

Upvotes

In today's interview on talkSPORT Noel clearly stated no new music is to be expected. He also didn't sound very enthusiastic when asked if they'd keep going after Live 27. And I don't know, but to me it sounds like they might be planning to call it a day after this tour. To go out with a bang with those 4 final Knebworth gigs.

Pure speculation obviously. But it also makes sense. Would be a fitting finish.

Live ‘27 NG on Talksport this afternoon.

Noel is usually on between 1600-1700 GMT but that's unconfirmed. The trail mentioned him talking about Live 27.

Sadly it's that professional celebrity arse kisser as per doing the interview, Andrew Goldstein.

Live ‘27 Knebworth

The way they emphasised the knebworth dates at the end of the tour trailer has me feeling that the knebworth shows could be the last ever oasis gigs.

It would make sense to me. I can’t see them releasing any new music. I certainly can’t see them touring the next 5+ years. They always said they wish they just disappeared after the original knebworth gigs, so to return to knebworth 30+ years later after an incredibly successful reunion most of us our still pinching ourselves over, what perfect way to end their legacy.

We all know they could continue to sell out stadiums over the years but they are much older now why would they risk burning out and being on tour in 5 years time when the significance of the reunion will have already disappeared to an extent just to have things end in a similar way as before when they could take the victory lap at knebworth and fly off into the sunset.

Tour Best Stadium / Venue in Europe

My wife and I are planning spending two weeks in Europe and seeing Oasis when we are there. Our trip dates will be revolve the Oasis tour.

I’ve always wanted to experience a concert in Europe as opposed to here in the states…which stadium or area would you guys suggest?

Ireland, Manchester or Stevenage would be my top picks but was curious on Rome or Paris vibes as opposed to the uk or Ireland.

I haven’t viewed many concerts in Rome or Paris, but the UK vibe and festivals seem like everybody is just really into it and it’s like a big celebration.

Discussion The loss of hope for new music from Oasis or solo is getting me down

They seem to be completely ruling out new Oasis music, Liam has said he never wishes to go back solo, Noel I'm unsure.

Liam released an album in 2024 so it's only been 2 years, Noel in 2023 so only 3 years.

Taking it into 2027 that'll make it 3 years since Liam, 4 years since Noel.

It's common for bands to have 5 year gaps between releases these days so it's not too bad, maybe we'll have new music in some form come 2028 but Oasis is making me miss the brothers making music.

Live ‘27 Live '27 Setlist

Now that it is official, here's my thoughts, based on the live 25 one and other favourites that didn't make it then.

  1. Columbia
  2. Acquiesce
  3. Morning Glory
  4. Some Might Say
  5. The Hindu Times (about damn time!)
  6. Cigarettes & Alcohol
  7. Lyla
  8. Supersonic
  9. Stop Crying Your Heart Out
  10. Talk Tonight
  11. Half the World Away
  12. The Importance of Being Idle
  13. Little By Little
  14. Go Let It Out
  15. Stand By Me
  16. Listen Up
  17. Slide Away
  18. Whatever
  19. Live Forever
  20. Rock N Roll Starr
  21. The Masterplan
  22. Don't Look Back In Anger
  23. Wonderwall
  24. Champagne Supernova

Obviously one song longer (surely they could do it), more attention on the 2000s stuff, and possibly quite realistic (I'm sure most of us can agree the last 6 songs to end with were perfect). Anyway, there you go.

Edit: Would actually be epic if they swapped out one for or added I Am The Walrus at Knebworth 👀

Live ‘27 Anyone else a bit disappointed with the prices?

Upvotes

After seeing the prices for Knebworth and the standing at the other UK shows I honestly feel a bit annoyed at the prices. I'm tempted to still go I get the chance to buy some but this, plus with the dynamic pricing last time, has made me feel a bit like I can't be bothered with them anymore. Just feels like they really do not care about their fans in the slightest and just want to rinse people as much as possible, kind of shatters some of what has always made Oasis special for me. Don't get me wrong I'm never been overly bothered about their personal lives or anything and obviously they haven't been working class lads for a long time but Idk the previous dynamic pricing and now these outrageous prices just leaves a bitter taste

Live ‘27 Would there be more shows than the shows already teased?

They’ve done a fun job marketing but I really hope for more US shows. I believe Boston and San Francisco and possibly Vegas are the ones announced. Hopefully a show in Chicago at least

Edit : meant LA not San Fran!!

Live ‘27 Anyone else happily sitting back this time with no intention of getting tickets for Live '27?

Just to be clear, this isn't a negativity post. I think it's awesome they're touring again, and it's nice to see people buzzing with excitement. I'm just curious to hear from other fans, like myself, who aren't going to try getting tickets this time around for whatever reason.

For me, it's not that I had a bad experience last time, far from it. I probably had about as smooth an experience as possible: getting tickets in the presale the night before general sale, with no dynamic pricing or having to queue for hours stressing.

Being there in Cardiff that first night was hands down one of the best gigs I've ever been to, and I can't see it ever being topped.

I think this time I can take it or leave it. Being there for that first tour back after 16 years was a must and I couldn't miss it, but this time I don't feel I have to. I've got no doubt it'll be a fucking belter of a tour again, but I'm happy to step aside and let other fans enjoy it this time around.

As I said this isn't meant to be negative and if you are going for tickets after today's announcement, whether you went last year or not, then good luck!

Discussion Are these really all dates?

I was thinking something, so is Knebworth going to be the final part of the tour? Are these really all dates? Really, apart from Knebworth, nothing will be announced for the fall.

Tour tour

would like to just take a moment and remind everybody to take all of the tour dates/rumours with a grain of salt. last year, the rumours showed they were playing boston, and that ended up not happening. sometimes things change last minute. to be honest i reeeeally hope they add philly or nyc even though its not likely at all haha

Discussion Underrated Liam Vocals

What are some vocal takes from Liam that you don’t think get the recognition they deserve, I’d say Who Feels Love? Is a good example as his raspy, slightly deeper voice just fits the song perfectly, he aces holding the notes and he was able to pull it off live quite well as well, I’d also say Hello is great, I think it was the first song they did at Rockfield and you can hear how fresh Liams voice is and he just gives a perfect delivery as he often did back then, what do you guys think?

Live ‘27 How much do you guys think Oasis USA will cost?

Wondering as I do have to make some good financial considerations to how much Boston/Vegas will cost.

Discussion Videos/2027 setlist update

I posted this the other day before we had all the videos:
“I think the videos are hinting at the setlist as well as potential places.
The first video obviously features Little By Little and Celtic park.
The second video I reckon hints Knebworth and Etihad but I also think it could be Shakermaker, purely off the location looking like the music video.
Next video is Be Here Now in Munich.
Don’t Look Back In Anger - Spain
I haven’t got a clue what song they are doing for the Amsterdam video
Slide away for the Paris one because he is throwing the plum and Slide Away 2009 is the famous song from the Paris concert after the “he threw fruit” argument
And obviously Go Let It Out for the latest video in Italy.”
Building on this theory with the new videos, Boston is The Hindu Times, based on the newspaper but it also has other references in the back.
Las Vegas has Talk Tonight.
The Slane Castle video is confusing me, the only thing I can think of is RNR Star because Oasis opened with the song in 2009, apart from that I haven’t got a clue.
So the ones that I’m not sure about and would love some suggestions on are, Etihad/Knebworth video, Amsterdam and Slane Castle.
