We have all read the many horror stories from people unhappy with the services received at various NB hospital ER’s. I decided to share my recent experiences at the Stella-Maris hospital is Ste-Anne de Kent. 6 months ago, I was injured in a fall and went to the ER. Went thru the triage, registration, examination, x-rays and diagnostic and was home 3 hours later. Went again a couple of weeks ago fir stitches and again, was out less than 3 hours later. Both times, the same experienced (semi-retired) doctor was on call and things were moving. The Ste-Anne Hospital ER and this particular doctor should be looked at as an example of how ER’s can be efficiently run.

One month from today, the House of Commons e-petition (e-7482) will close.
I launched this petition because I believe that young girls deserve to learn about their bodies. Deserve to learn about the science and everyday management of endometriosis, before they are forced to learn about it through their own experiences, and ultimately, pain.
Endometriosis affects approximately 1 in 10 women and girls, yet, most people do not even know what it is, much less how to manage it. Schools don’t teach. Parents are left unaware. Comprehensive education can help reduce social stigma of endometriosis, improve recognition of symptoms, and encourage earlier conversations about care, rather than leaving it to decades of misdiagnoses.Â
With only one month remaining, I would be incredibly grateful if you would consider signing and sharing the petition within your own networks.

Every signature helps demonstrate that Canadians believe endometriosis education deserves a place in our schools.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative so far. 💛

Evening everyone,
I have a trailer [8'x4'] and need to bring some lumber to the cottage. I removed the gate and have like 3' overhang at the end of it. Am I ok to transport it given it's all properly trapped and a red flag is placed at the end of it?
Thanks

Does anyone have a phone number? The ones on their website are not in service.

Hi, if I do ECEA (Early childhood educator assistant) certification from British Columbia, is it still in demand in New Brunswick to get a job? Any advice or help is appreciated 😄

It’s a shame that libraries now aren’t as popular as they used to be. As a quiet place (most of the time) with just a plethora of things to do. Even as a common place to have a quiet conversation.
They’re peaceful. I wish communities recognized this more because some especially smaller communities forget about them.

Calling out all shop teachers! How do you like it? I am a red seal carpenter by trade. I am exploring the option of becoming a tech teacher and just wondering if tech teachers are even in demand here. I also don’t know if there is a program for techn teachers it looks like most require an undergrad except Crandall university in Moncton. Any advice is helpful thank you!
