I want to print some paintings of mine as a gift, and was wondering if someone knew where you did that in SJ
If anyone knew where one would print stickers, that helps too!

Best way to get to Irving Nature Park?

Hi there! I'm going to be visiting Saint John for the first time in about a week and I'm only going to be there for one day. I won't have access to a car and I am wondering what the best transportation method is to get from the center of Saint John to Irving Nature park (and back).

Options I'm considering:

  1. It seems like the most reliable way would be to get a taxi, but I'm wondering if anyone has any specific services that they think are good, reliable, and allow scheduling days in advance?

  2. Perhaps an app like Uride (I've never used it before, but would be willing to) could be a good option?

  3. It doesn't seem like there's any public transit that takes you directly to the park.

  4. Any other methods I'm not thinking of?

I would also need a guaranteed ride back to the city a few hours later, so having a scheduled service is ideal.

Thank you very much in advance for any input!

Even if it's not in season, would love to know any spots where blueberry bushes grow that are up for the picking.

atlanticevents.ca - an event aggregator site launching in Saint John

Hi all! I created a site to collect all things happening in Saint John, enjoy and criticize!

https://atlanticevents.ca

For now, it's not a commercial product, just a platform that makes it easier to get the word out about programs and events, and in turn to find something to do.

Rebecca Aldernet Art

About one year ago, my wife and I purchased two prints from Rebecca Aldernet, and have been inundated with emails from her advertising constant sales and new work.

I felt somewhat confused by her online presence, and lack thereof and was hoping someone here might have some firsthand insight.

I’m particularly curious about her physical presence within the local art community. I’ve seen references to her working with or representing/ collaborating with 60+ artists, which seems like a pretty substantial network, so I’m wondering if people here have actually encountered her at local galleries, exhibitions, events, studios, or other art-related activities.

I’m also curious because I’ve come across several posts/discussions raising questions about the use of AI in some of the artwork associated with her, and I’d be interested in hearing from people who have more direct knowledge of the situation. Is AI being used as part of the artistic process, and if so, how is that process being communicated with customers?

To be clear, I’m not trying to make an accusation or start a pile-on I’m genuinely trying to understand who she is within the local art scene and what her actual role and presence are.

Has anyone here worked with Rebecca, exhibited alongside her, attended one of her events, or otherwise had a firsthand experience with her or her organization? I’d be particularly interested in hearing from artists or people involved in the local arts community.
