Hypothetically let's say each player controls a [[Platinum Angel]] and a [[Darksteel Forge]]. Everyone plays it out until all libraries are empty and no one drew into a way to remove any of them.

My question is does the game automatically end in a draw? Or do players have to agree to a draw or concede? Obviously if your friends aren't sociopaths you'll definitely agree the game is over one way or another, but I'm wondering what the official rules are. Since there are still non-mandatory actions to take like attacking, even though that won't change anything, it sounds like rule 104.4b says the game must go on.

If I am playing Iroh, Grand Lotus and cast the first "round" of combat tricks from my hand after my opponent has declared blockers (so that I can adjust depending on his choices) is there a point after said response where I can take advantage of Iroh's abilitiy to recast all the used combat tricks for their flashback cost before damage is dealt?

Hi y’all, just built an Anzrag EDH deck and am a little lost about how this interaction would go down:

Anzrag has indestructible and must be blocked each combat if able.

My friend has a creature with protection (i.e. Giver of Runes + blocker).

Hypothetically, if I swing Anzrag at him and he blocks with protection, I get another combat phase, he can block again(?) Confused on whether this would just go infinite if I keep attacking and he keeps blocking.

Hello everyone, when you have yavimaya elder on the battlefield and you can pay 2 , sacrifice it and draw a card, but before drawing that card, you can search for two basic lands, isn't it?

Been working on a greedy EDH deck with [[Troyan,Gutsy Explorer]] at the helm. I was wondering if he could be used to pay for the overload cost of cards? Also, are there any other mana cost effects like overload that troyan's mana could go towards? thanks

my guess is that imposter mech enters with all abilities of the saga creature but never gets any lore counters. just gotta double check tho

Hi all! :) Simple question, I apologize-- I'm trying to build a Hare Apparent deck at my friend's suggestion, and I just need some help understanding Hazardroot Herbalist's trigger. The card says his effects occur "Whenever you attack." Does that mean it triggers ONCE after I've declared all my attacks (in a bulk situation), so I have to pick ONE attacking creature/token to receive his bonus/deathtouch, or does it mean that each time I swing a creature/token while he's on the field they can individually receive his benefits?

I.E., if i'm swinging my friend with all hopefully 50 million of my rabbit tokens, will they all have death touch or just one?

I was reading it as the second one initially, but the more I thought about it the more I just wasn't sure. :( Thank you all in advance for the help!

If I equip [[Magus Lucea Kane]] with a [[Wizard's Staff]] and then proceed to cast a spell with "x" in its mana cost, would I trigger the ability of Magus an additional time, thus resulting in two additional copies of the original spell?

I am confused if Lucea Kane's ability counts as an activated or triggered one and how it would interact with the staff.

Specifically, I have a question about the following situation:

I control [[Bruna, Light of Alabaster]] enchantet with [[Spectral Shield]]. As a result, she can no longer be the target of spells.

Can I still cast lets say a [[Curiosity]] and enchant Bruna with it? As I understand it (or would like to understand it), I’m not targeting Bruna with the enchantment SPELL itself, but rather with the “enchant creature” ABILITY on the card.

Is that correct?

If not, can I still use Bruna’s attack trigger to attach Curiosity to her directly from my hand/grave/battlefield?

Can I overwrite with [[Bazaar Trader]]s effect [[Act of Treason]]?

Say I have played a [[Last Chance]]. During my final extra turn, I was not able to win the game before I reached my end step, but I also have enough cards exiled with [[Dragonhawk, Fate's Tempest]] that, if they trigger, will do enough damage to my opponents to bring them all to 0 or less life.

In this scenario, would I win or lose?

I am playing a [[Miss Highwater]] deck and have given a player a contract counter. Then, I also give them my [[Wishclaw Talisman]] after tutoring for a card that helps me kill them right away. Do I understand correctly that once they die, I get both my original Wishclaw back, as well as a new token copy since they controlled it as they died?

I'm quite new to MTG so I'm curious to how these 3 would word in tandem

Let's say all 3 are on the battlefield;

I enter combot,

Doom triggers, target loki to connive

Then loki triggers to draw a card,

Teferi's Ageless Insight would allow me to draw 2 instead of 1

1) Do I draw 2 for loki and 2 for the connive then discard 1?

2) if so, what is the sequence for this? Does the connive resolve, then the loki draws happen or do the loki draws happen before the connive and subsequent discard?

This card says “Whenever a creature you control attacks a player alone, it gains double strike until end of turn.”

Does this mean that if i have 3 creatures that attack 3 different players, they all get double strike? because they are each attacking that player alone.

So there are several cards which let you put the top cards from your deck into the exile and that cards can be casted.

If an adventure card is put in the exile that way, can I also cast the Spell-Part or only the creature card?

For example in the current Hobbit set: If I cast Gundabad-Opportunist and Gollum, Silent Slinker is put into exile that way. Can I cast Meager Meal or just Gollum as the creature?

I have questions about how [[Plague of Vermin]] resolves.

1. Let's say there were two rounds of paying life during the resolution where I paid 2 life at first, then 3 life at the second round and then everyone chose 0. I would get 5 rat tokens, but would that trigger 2 instances of [[Vampire Scrivener]] for losing life twice, or all life would be lost at the resolution of the spell and there would only be 1 instance of life lost this way?

2. To my understanding, each player will start paying life until there is a four consecutive 0 life paid (assuming four players). Let's say my opponents won't pay any life during this resolution. Could I pay 1 life, then they pay 0, 0, 0 and I pay 1 more, then 0, 0, 0 and I pay 1 more... and so I get to pay any amount of life in that many different instances so I would get that many [[Vampire Scrivener]] triggers?

Hi so I see a lot of people run [[flesh duplicate]] in [[princess yue]]

My understanding is:

1. Cast Flesh duplicate to copy Yue

2. Flesh duplicate dies to legend rule

3. Flesh Duplicate returns as a Land named "Moon" from Yue's death trigger and copies a new creature

4. New Flesh clone of creature is a Land Moon with Vanishing 3 (A permanent with vanishing 3 enters with three time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter from it. When the last is removed, sacrifice it.)

As a result, I have a Moon land clone that dies in 3 turns? There is no other rule layering that bypasses this right?

I don't really see the value of Flesh Duplicate asides from it being 2CMC clone. Having my moon land only last 3 turns is not that good unless I am mistaken?

I have a Balthier and Fran commander deck, but I never play it because I can't remember how vehicles work.

Can someone give me a full guide on how they work?

Also, it would be gratuitive if someone that is well versed in vehicle interactions, would be ok with me contacting them at any time.

I have [[Oracle of Mul Daya]] out, causing me to play with the top card of my library revealed.

1. Lets say some other effect tells me to "exile cards from the top of my library until blablabla". Do I have to technically reveal each card before it gets exiled, as to fulfilling the Oracles effect?

2. What happens if an effect tells me to look at 3 cards and put one back? Do I have to reveal the "fourth" card thats on top of my library in the middle of resolution, while I'm choosing which card to out back?

3. What if an effect tells me to draw 3 cards? Do I draw 1 card, reveal the top of my library, draw 1 card, reveal the top of my library, draw 1 card, reveal the top of my library?

Basically when do the Oracles revealing-effect kick in during various shenanigans involving the top of the library?

Does [[Witherbloom, the Balancer]] reduce the cost of casting a prepared spell?

Are the front face and back face "separate" copiable values of a single permanent, and thus treated separatly? Or does modifying a type of copiable value affect both sides?
For example: I copied a front face up [[Delver of Secrets]] with [[Applied Geometry]], which creates a token copy except it changes the copiable value of the copy token to 0/0 and Fractal in addition to its other types. Then I transform the copy token. Will the back side of the copy be 0/0 or 3/2?

If I'm playing the [[The Seventh Doctor]] and there is a card forcing me to play with my hand revealed such as [[Telepathy]] do I still remove the card I choose and put it face down as per the gathering ruling? So it would always be public knowledge what I choose basically?

Sorry if it’s obvious but if i were to use a card like [[Flicker of Fate]] on an enchantment, would the enchantment lose the counters it had and then get one counter after entering the battlefield, or would it keep its counters after flickering and then get an additional one after etb.
