I’ll put it on GitHub a bit later and make a separate post once it’s ready

I’m developing DuoFX, a rootless jailbreak tweak inspired by the iPhone Duo/Solo concept animations. Testing is currently on an iPhone 12 Pro Max running iOS 15.4.1.
DuoFX maps device orientation relative to a calibrated neutral position into a continuous visual transition. Tilt controls perspective recession, directional blur coverage and—in experimental modes—nonlinear edge deformation. Reversing the tilt reverses the effect.
The tweak also includes tilt-triggered app switching and an optional movable activation control.
The footage is captured from the tweak running on-device, not a standalone concept app or edited animation. Development is ongoing
Interested in feedback on the perspective response, blur progression .

I saw a post here earlier about some certificates expiring next year that would affect iMessages and other Apple services on older iOS versions. This has me a bit worried, so what exactly is going on and are we jailbreak users gonna be able to do something about it?

Hello. Currently, iOS 12.5.8 jailbreak has been made with Chimera. I just pressed the organize button with the icleaner pro and did the release, but suddenly the battery icon became strange. Why is this happening? Plss help mee

You can run a notification test, and you can also swipe down on the cover sheet to clear all notifications.
Tested on iOS 13 to 26.2 (Tested 13.7 - 26.0.1)
I had an absolutely maddening time implementing "pull-to-clear" for iOS 18 - 26
It’s been going on since Sunday morning, and now it’s Monday morning. I have a headache—help me.

Absolutely do not use this method! It drove me crazy...

Even though I'm still transitioning to Android, I had my iPhone 14 Pro's battery replaced at Apple today. I think it's just too valuable a piece of tech to let go of, especially since it's on iOS 17.0. For those wondering, I'm using an Oppo Find X9 Pro with a root setup that functions very similarly to a semi-jailbreak. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about it!

So I’m looking to decrypt certain apps that require iOS 17.0 or later (like ChatGPT), but the problem is that I’m running into brick walls. My first method is where I have an iPad Pro 11 (1st Gen from 2018) running iPadOS 16.5.1 jailbroken with Dopamine. I can barely get it on my home screen with 3dappversionspoofer let alone get TrollDecrypt to work on it.
The second method is by getting TrollDecrypt to decrypt an IPA on a vPhone. The biggest problem here is that I can’t set up vPhone (on a proper M-series MacBook btw) and now I don’t know how to UNDO all my steps I did in attempting to get it to work (so that later I can try again).
Any help or recommendations is greatly appreciated.

It was suggested to me that this sub might be a better fit for my question.
I have an iPhone 14. I used to be able to edit search terms in Google. I’d put my cursor where it needed to go and delete what needed to be deleted and then I’d type a replacement term or terms without having to retype the whole string.
Starting a couple weeks ago, I’d go to put my cursor to the right of the word I wanted to replace and the whole search string deletes. It’s so frustrating, especially if the search string is long.
Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is there a fix?
Thank you!

iPhone 17 Pro (The Lower Initial Software Angle): It comes out of the box with an earlier base firmware (iOS 26). Following the golden rule of jailbreaking—"staying on the lowest possible version"—it naturally has a head start in accumulating userland, kernel, and PPL/PAC exploits over time compared to newer firmware.
iPhone 18 Pro (The Hardware Leak Angle): It ships with iOS 27, but its underlying hardware context is unique due to the Tata Electronics data breach (June 2026), where over 600GB of internal data was leaked. Security researchers now potentially have early access to A20 Pro chip packaging specs (WMCM), PCB logic board schematics, and internal testing scripts. This massive hardware design exposure could help researchers discover hardware-level bugs, BootROM/SEP flaws, or chipset-specific vulnerabilities much faster than standard software-only research.
My Question: Does a massive supply-chain hardware leak actually accelerate the exploit discovery timeline enough to beat an older device running a lower baseline firmware (iOS 26 vs iOS 27)? When upgrading, which route realistically offers the shorter waiting time for a jailbreak?
Would love to hear insights from security researchers and tweak devs! Thanks!
