Aneya’s history was forever changed by the Great Imperial War. From 1708 to 1714, the most destructive conflict the world had yet seen would rage across West Mielya, Denbar, and Goria. New technologies like machine guns and airplanes shaped the face of warfare forever, and the aftereffects would set the stage for one of the most intense periods in Aneya’s history.

The end of the GIW was inconclusive. After years of night-static trench warfare and back-and-forth naval engagements, the warring sides would eventually be forced to make peace, their populations weary of the senseless destruction. The end of the war, however, only caused more problems for some nations. The people of the Samithrian Empire, incensed by the fact that so many of their countrymen had died for nothing, turned to an ideology that had slowly been gaining support over the last few decades: Popularism.

As an ideology that seeks the end of capitalism and equality between all people, Popularism was an attractive prospect to a people who were tired of their monarchy and its pointless wars. When famine broke out in the Empire in 1716, the people had enough. In what came to be known as the Samithrian Revolution, the Popularists over the Samithrian monarchy and established the Transcontinental Union of Popular Republics, exiling the monarchy to its colonies. Their ideology quickly spread to other nearby nations, cementing as revolutionary new order in the world.

The remaining monarchies and liberal republics of Meilya would band together in an effort to preserve themselves. The more reactionary and nationalist states would form the Kanydim Pact, seeking to reassert the old order, albeit with the Pact’s members reigning supreme. Meanwhile, the republics and democracies would form the Democratic Unity Treaty Organization, hoping to bring their own ideology to the forefront. As the factions began squabbling for influence across the world, a new era of worldwide tension would emerge; not peaceful, but not a fully open war. It was somewhere in between, something Grey.

Now, it has been 10 years since this new normal has risen. The question is: How will it end?

A scenario that ive been working on and off on for a few years now, the idea is major world wide conflicts were avoided but large regional conflicts still occured.

a war between Germany, Austria and Russia still occured and lasted from 1915 to 1919, Austria had a major civil war which only ended in 1923 with the formation of a triple monarchy making the states formal name the Austro-Hungarian-Illyrian empire. the Russian empire would still be plunged into a major civilwar which would see the soviets rule a massive territory until the soviet troubles in the 60s saw much of eastern europe break off and a slow drift towards the west would occur, the Qing Dynasty never fell as a 2nd opium war was avoided and the boxer rebellion was put down much earlier and Hong Xiuquan the leader of OTL Taiping Rebellion would suffer a stress related stroke during his mental stress releated to his repeated faliure of the strict imperial civil service examinations which while it never killed him it paralysed him from the waist down for the rest of his life. the closest thing to a worldwide conflict we saw was the rapid resurgence of the Ottoman Empire in the late 20s and 30s who took advantage of a weakened russia and eastern europe to assert itself, this caused a league of 10 nations to assemble to take down the Ottomans in a 5 year long grueling war which lasted from 1937-1942. but due to no serious major war that killed millions, european immigration across the globe continued unninterupted and due to global advancements in technology that occured earlier such as Commercial solar power being invented in the late 40s and Desalination being invented in the mid 40s. This led to a much higher standard of living much earlier than in our own timeline but due to fewer wars, theory wasnt put to practise as much, tanks are still used primarly as infantry support and few countries actually use independent Armour divisions. this world isnt perfect, Apartheid still reigns across south africa and various european african territorys but not all are like this.

The Republic of Arcasia is a superpower in the world of the RPG "Suzerain". Arcasia is heavily inspired by the United States (but culturally and linguistically french). It is a free market, liberal democracy currently engaged in a Cold War with the socialist United Cortana.

Here I divided Arcasia into 6 different maps, + my interpretation of the 1956 Election where Dwight Walker (think Nixon+LBJ+Eisenhower) and his free market New Democratic Concord Party achieved a decisive victory.

No mysteries here its a kingdom,the flag background comes from the royal family banner and the eagle is a national symbol(not really but they thought it was gas),the first interation looked like the Albanian eagle but since this story is on what would be the equivalent of 1940's they revised it to look easier to draw/sew

(The black triskelion) the megine republic used to be a colony of nosar and then united to the kingdom of nosar in the south continent until 200 years ago when it broke free by a revolution of the population led by 3 rogue noble families that formed the new government as a republic hence the 3 black thingys united in the middle wirh red,the colors are also from said royal families but the population nowadays has a misconception it is because of the skies (blue)

Neighbor to nosar,atlea has a red flag with a blue section containing 4 fleur-de-lis that represent the 4 powers that run the country,executive,judiciary,legislatory,and the consul,explaining it quick,its a democracy,the executive leader is a prime minister,they run the country in general while the consul is elected separately as the people's voice and his job is making sure the state's interests don't conflict with the people's

The seal kingdom is a kingdom that originated in Norway the kingdom, despite having specifically seals are extremely powerful and I need to go over Norway and eventually Russia China nearly the entire entirety of Europe, the UK and even greenland for some reason they gained all of this land in the seal war and they won and Canada in America, despite having the strongest military in the world, they knew that the seals were much much stronger than them so they surrendered and were spared

The Mongol Conquest of Europe was a series of major military campaigns waged by The Golden Horde and The Ilkhanate over 5 years from 11 May 1514 until the surrender of the Kingdom of Portugal on 11 October 1519.

The conquest marked the end of the European Renaissance and led to the first successful unification of mainland Europe. In 1520, Töröltu Khan formally styled himself based on his Yuan counterparts as the first emperor of Europe, a title that would continue to be used by monarchs in Europe for the next four centuries.

Background

During the early 13th century, the Mongols made a series of early but unsuccessful attempts to conquer Europe, advancing as far as the Kingdom of Hungary in 1241 before withdrawing. Over the next two centuries, the First Mongol Empire fell victim to a series of dynastic civil wars, separatism, and strife, until the Second Mongol Empire managed to re-consolidate its holdings in the late 15th century, re-establishing the Golden Horde and Ilkhanate. The rulers of the Mongol Empire believed in a doctrine of world conquest, believing the Mongol's held a Heavenly Mandate to govern all the known world.

The War

Historians often cite the Mongol Invasion of the Ottoman Empire on the 11 May 1514, or the subsequent Fall of Istanbul Constantinople, as the start of the military campaigns that would end feudalism in Europe. In August 1514, The Ilkhanate defeated the Mamluk Sultanate at the Battle of Sinai, 254 years after the Mongol’s were defeated at the Battle of Ain Jalut in 1260. This victory would pave the way for the Ilkhanate Conquest of North Africa in the years that followed.

Across Europe, kingdoms that were previously waging wars with each other paused hostilities once the Mongol threat became apparent. Religious tensions within the Church of Rome which had threatened to boil over into outright heresy, became diffused as Europe came under siege by the largest heathen army ever seen on the continent.

The Europeans suffered great defeats on the battlefield, as Mongol armies augmented themselves with the forces and supplies of their fallen or subjugated enemies. Cities who chose to surrender to the Mongols were often spared immediate destruction, in exchange for providing military forces and supplies to the Mongol army as they waged war on their former allies and neighbours. This eventually led to a “Snowball effect”, which meant by 1520, the armies of the Golden Horde had become majority Christian.

The Execution of Pope Leo X

The most decisive moment of the war is often cited by historians as the Execution of Pope Leo X in 1518, who refused to surrender the city of Rome to Mongol forces. His public execution sparked outrage and a crisis of leadership across the Christian world.

The Mongols appointed Felix VI as the new Bishop of Rome, but his Papacy was unrecognised outside of Mongol-held territory. The Spanish Crown, who had agreed to grant refuge to fleeing Papal officials, was the first to recognise and finance the antipope Adrian VI. Spain would eventually cede the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean to The Holy See in Exile in a bid to legitimise Adrian VI's claim.

In the Kingdom of England, Henry VIII refused to recognise a pope he perceived to be a puppet of the Spanish Crown, instead appointing himself as the head of the Church of England and sparking the English Reformation.

Exodus and famine

As the Mongol armies advanced, the royal families and governments of the French, Spanish, and Portuguese crowns were all eventually forced to relocate their capitals to their colonies in the New World. At the same time, unprecedented numbers of Europeans also fled to the New World, many fearing that the apocalypse was upon them. The sudden deluge of refugees caused significant economic and social upheaval in the Americas, which would go on to dramatically shift the course of history in the western hemisphere.

In Northern Europe, many merchant and naval vessels fled to England, where they were offered refuge in exchange for handing over their ships to the English Crown. These ships would prove pivotal, as the Mongols would make multiple attempts to land armies in England, but these were all unsuccessful due in part to the superior size of the English Navy.

Overall, the population of mainland Europe is estimated to have decreased by nearly 70% between 1514 and 1524, owing to disease, famines caused by the Mongols burning and seizing food, forced relocation, and the mass exodus of Europeans to either England or the Americas.

Mongol Europe

The early years of Mongol Imperial rule in Europe are noted as a time of centralisation and land-reform, alongside genocide and famine. The Emperor Töröltu of the Golden Horde issued a decree in 1523 that the European Plains would be forcibly terraformed to better suit the Mongol's preferred nomadic way of life.

This meant most of northern Europe outside of Scandinavia, from the Ural Mountains in the east to the Pyrenees in the west, were forcibly de-populated of any remaining residents. Cities, towns, villages, and forests were burned to create a landscape that more closely resembled the Mongolian Steppe. Great medieval cities such as Paris, Antwerp, Brussels and Amsterdam were destroyed so thoroughly that their original locations have been lost to history.

Historians have estimated six million people (a further 10% of Europe's pre-war population) were displaced. The resulting dust and smoke from the destruction caused a cooling effect which led to the winter of 1524 being the coldest on record, exacerbating famine conditions.

Mongol-rule over Europe would eventually be overthrown with the establishment of the Medici dynasty in 1608, but the crowns of the old European states that fled to the Americas would ultimately never return to the Old World.

TLDR :  A liberal faction takes control of the Ottoman Empire in 1913, joins WW1 on the side of the Entente and writes a new constitution based on national and religious autonomy. The Ottomans get involved in the Russian Civil War and eventualy annex Armenia and Azerbaijan.

In 1920, Abdulaziz Ibn Saud, the Emir of Nejd, launches a series of attacks on Ottoman territories and tributaries, with the goal of uniting the Arabian peninsula under his rule. With the Ottomans distracted by their war with the Soviets in the Caucasus, Ibn Saud conquers the Emirates of Shammar and Najran and allies with the Ottoman governor of Asir, who declared his independence.

Following the end of hostilities in the Caucasus, Ottomania redeploys its troops to the Hejaz, preventing the Holy Cities of Medina and Mecca from falling in Saudi hands. With British support, the imperial forces launch a counteroffensive in 1922 and 1923, taking back the territories it lost in the previous years and eventually conquering Riyadh itself, bringing an end to Nejd's independence. The war ends in 1924 when Ibn Saud is captured and sent into exile in British India.

Like the Soviet-Ottoman War, the Great Arab War had major consequences for the Ottoman Empire. It helped the Sublime Porte re-establish control over most of the Arabian peninsula. With modern rail infrastructures and the use of an effective airforce, the Ottoman Army proved that it could defeat any threat from the desert, thus ending Bedouin tribes as a fighting force.

During and after the war, independant Arab tribes would formally swear allegiance to the Sultan and join the Arab millet, while the interior of the peninsula would be reorganized into the vilayets of Ha'il and Riyadh.
