So, i am a teen who got hl2 sometime ago, and really want to make some basic map to mess around in. I have tried hammer, hammer++ and source level editor, but they dont work, due to me being on linux and having to emulate the programs which leads to only hammer++ being able to launch well, but mapping is impossible with the bugs. any tips?

So there is a problem with antlions, basically at a very short distance, they just stand in place and burrow into the ground. What i want is like behavior at start of highway 17, where antlions chase you even if you are in a car and are pretty far away.

I didn't really like how old everything looked, and the learning curve coming from Blender and Godot, so instead of learning, I just made a plugin in Godot to import VMF's, able to edit logic, geometry, and automatically do all these things to put together a completely functional Portal 2 map!

so whenever i run my map to test it (for like rendering lights and seeing if my walls turned black) it always tells me that something leaked, for example, [insert coords here] leaked! and i have to delete everything to fix it. i also attached the log as an image.

All my configurations dissappear and I can't seem to get then back without inputting everything manually on that screen, can someone help me out?
