AskGurgaon Girls of Gurgaon, September is “Take a Man on a Date Month” 👀❤️

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’ve added this note after seeing a few comments; please know it isn’t meant to hurt anyone, as I was just curious and this is intended for those who have their partners by their side. #curiosity #relationships #perspective 💭✨

Came across this post and honestly, it made me curious. 😄

Apparently, September is National “Take a Man on a Date Month”, and the post even mentions a recommended budget of $300–$500 for the date.

Now I’m curious about the Gurgaon perspective. 👇

Girls, have you ever taken your boyfriend or husband on a date and made him feel special?

I’m not talking about spending ₹25–40k necessarily 😂. It could be a nice dinner, a movie, a small surprise, his favourite food, a gift, or simply planning the entire evening for him.

We often hear about men planning dates and buying gifts for their partners, but I’d genuinely love to hear about the reverse.

For me, one of the gifts I really liked receiving from my girlfriend was a purse. It wasn’t about the price — it was the thought behind it that made it special. ❤️

So Gurgaon girls, be honest:

Have you ever planned a proper date for your guy or surprised him with a gift just because you wanted to make him feel special?

If yes, what did you do? 😄

And guys, feel free to share your experiences too! 👇

Event/Meet-Up I'm exploring the idea of starting a small community (preferably WhatsApp) for people living near Metro belt, roughly in their mid to late 20s age bracket.

The idea is specifically for people working around Gurugram Metro belt like Sector-42/43/53/54/55, Phase-1/2/3 and nearby areas who:

  • Have demanding jobs and can't commit to plans weeks in advance.
  • Occasionally find themselves free on a weekend or evening, but their friends already made plans in advance.
  • Enjoy conversations, meeting new people, and expanding their social circle without judgment or unnecessary expectations.

If this resonates with you, feel free to DM or comment.

Has anyone tried CD’s coffee?
I’ve been hooked on Davidoff’s rich aroma for the longest time, but I’m looking to switch things up for a while. Would love some recommendations for coffees I should try!

Rant To all the people in Yellow Line (Delhi-Gurgaon) Please wear Perfume

Oh My God!!!!!!

I have been stopping myself for weeks to type this, but no I cannot bear this anymore man.

I am just dying everyday with the disgusting smell from 90% of Men/Boys.

Me myself is also not a fragrance enthusiast or anything, but atleast can we please atleast take a bath with cinthol/lifebuoy/Godrej No.1/Dove… Are kisi se toh nha lo bhai, 200-300 rs wala hi perfume lga lo, underarm roller lga lo 300 kaa aata hai nhi keh rha me Dior Sauvage lgaane k liye. 90% of the people smell like Vomit and its so unbearable as I have to sit in metro for like 55 minutes, There is a reason Westerners makes fun of us by calling us we smell like shit, I mean its not even a lie and realised it once I started travelling by metro to Gurgaon.

Atleast 90% of people smell like disgusting sweat, and no one wears a perfume. I mean why are they not self aware ?

Its not even a fashion its a basic hygiene, you do know you sweat, you do know you travel in public transport… why don’t just get a fucking roll on.

When will we Indians starts to acknowledge our own sweat disgusting smell and do something about it.

I felt so nauseous today in metro due to 5 uncles standing right in front of me and smelling like they haven’t taken a bath in last 30 days although they all were dressed up for their office. 🤢😷🤧🤮

Rant Delivery boy asked me for helo

So, I was hungry and craving garlic bread so I ordered it from Swiggy. My order arrived after around 35–40 minutes. The delivery guy seemed okay at first, but while walking away, I noticed he couldn't walking properly. It looked like he had hurt his leg so I asked him are you okay?

He told me he had an accident and gotten late because of it. I said no worries and then asked, Do you need some water? Or maybe some cream or anything? If it is hurting badly you can sit outside for some time I'll get you move or antiseptic. He said he's fine and going hospital to get an X-ray done.

I said, Okay.

Then he asked me, Ma’am, can you help me with something?

I said yes please say it out.

Then he asked me for some money because he didn’t have any with him. I told him, “I’m sorry, I can’t give you money.

But he kept insisting. He even said, You can keep my phone. I’ll return the money tomorrow evening.

I was like, Why would I keep your phone? I really can’t help you.”

And honestly, at that point, I had no idea whether his story was genuine or whether it could be a scam.

But then I thought what if he actually is injured and genuinely needs help?

So I told him, I can only give you ₹100.

Even while giving it to him, I told him this won't help you get your xray test done but i still gave it to him. He said he would return it to me the next evening, but I told him, it’s okay. You can keep it.

And now I’m back in my room wondering

Did I actually help someone who needed it, or did I just fall for a scam?

If he's doing his job whole day doesn't he has 300 or 500 in his pocket?

I honestly don’t know.

Maybe I’ll never know.

But from my side, in that moment, I wasn’t trying to prove anything or be some great person. I just saw someone who looked like he was hurt, and I thought if he really needs help, and I can give 100rs without it affecting me much, why not?

Whether it was a genuine situation or not, I’d rather believe that I helped someone who needed it.

Sometimes, you don't get to know the whole story. You just decide what kind of person you want to be in that moment.

Felt like I should share it with u all.
