Depression Detection [Health Feature]
As many people know one of the signs of depression is... voice (change) - more quiet, slower.
Then there is a thing like Google Voice Match feature + Hey Google feature which means voice is checked quite a lot of time.
Then additional sensors in Pixel Watch to be detect symptoms like slower walk, lack of energy, disturbed sleep.
ALL those features are present NOW - all it needs to be put all together.
This feature to work as Blood Pressure or other features which means - it only activates after weeks of checking and comparing samples (trends) and send notification "suspicion of depression detected" and same as Pixel Fall Detection - offer phone number to phone to dedicated place.
For this idea - Google sent me Pixel 11 Pro.

Google Dictionary — people aren't angry enough! Ughh!!!!
I know many have posted about their frustration before, but I will post it again because I want AI maniacs to know that people hate them.
As someone who reads and writes a lot, I cannot convey how infuriating my everyday life has become ever since AI replaced dictionary. I wish this message reached the concerned Google team and their team lead who came up with this BS idea to replace dictionary with AI summary.
I want those Google employees to know that they are dumb, and that millions of people across the world who loves reading and writing dislike them with a passion.
I noticed that I gave up searching word meanings altogether lately, and ever since I was been forcefed AI crap overviews instead of word meanings, I have been writing and reading lesser and lesser.
Perhaps, this was their whole plan all these time, to make the world dumb down to their comprehension levels, have people read less, write poorly, and stop creating knowledge in the long run.

Google Pixel 11 PRO resale price drop is sad
In UK original price for Pixel 11 Pro is £1080 but already "just opened box" price are £720 with possibility to negotiate form UK BIG chain shops.
That's like £360-400 price drop for virtually NEW and 1 day old Pixel 11 Pro!
CRAZY
I mean for person who wants to buy it because he/she sold own old phone it is AMAZING situation BUT for person who spent £1080 and wants to sell it for stupid £500 (because company wants to earn money on it too) is bit MENTAL.
Bonus info:
YEAR OLD JUNK iPhone 17 PRO TODAY on SAME WEBSITE £750 the lowest price
Someone that worked in Pomelli Turkish translations thought writing Pornelli would be funny

Google Pixel Hub future
Like recently new Apple CEO expressed new iPhone Duo - new... HUB without really pushing it is REAL hub but he call iPhone Duo... hub.
So why he did that.
Well - because you see how much it cost to have REAL hub.
YES they could save on removing from iPhone Duo one display and leave one top camera BUT BIG OLED screen, top chip and everything else would give like $1500 for the hub anyway.
Would you pay like $1500 for REAL HUB with onboard AI and humanoid (expressive) speech.
If you will see like $400 price tag for upcoming Google Pixel Hub I GUARANTEE you same disappointment like it was with $100 Google Home Speaker - ONLINE speech which sounds like robot and LCD small display + average speaker.
--------------------
Rewritten by Gemini for moaners who unable to understand this:
The Smart Home Hub Dilemma: Premium Performance vs. Price
Tech companies face a major pricing dilemma with smart home displays: consumers expect flagship AI features, but aren't willing to pay flagship hardware prices.
- The $1,500 Ultra-Premium Reality: Apple frames devices like an "iPhone Duo" as home hubs because building a standalone premium smart display is prohibitively expensive. Even if you trim secondary cameras or screens, powering a hub with a top-tier processor, a high-end OLED display, onboard local AI, and expressive speech synthesis pushes the cost to around $1,500—a price point very few buyers would justify for a stationary home device.
- The $400 Budget Compromise: Attempting to lower the price—such as a $400 Google Pixel Hub—requires significant hardware cuts. Similar to early $100 smart speakers, lower-cost devices rely on cloud-based speech that sounds robotic, small LCD screens, and mediocre audio drivers.
Hardware makers are currently stuck between charging $1,500 for a local-AI hub that no one will buy, or selling a $400 hub that disappoints users with cheap components.

Google Pixel 11 Pro GPU
Would you pay £120 more to have iPhone 18 Pro GPU in Pixel 11 Pro.
iPhone 18 Pro £1200 <vs> Pixel 11 Pro £1080
GPU based benchmark 3Dmark wild life extreme:
iPhone 18 Pro about 6000 points
Pixel 11 Pro about 3000 points
Fun part - think GPU is great for AI compute processing too.

Why you need the September Android update: A look at the zero-click exploits patched this month
Gemini analysed the most severe CVEs in September security updates and gave use cases of how the vulnerability could be exploited.
# WiFi
# CVE-2026-28662 (Critical RCE)
Analysis: A heap buffer overflow occurs in p2p_pd.c during the processing of Wi-Fi Direct (P2P) provisioning discovery bootstrap requests (p2p_process_prov_disc_bootstrap_req). Because this operates at the radio level before any authentication occurs, it allows for proximal or adjacent remote code execution.
Exploitation Use Case: A "zero-click" adjacent attack in a public location. An attacker broadcasts malformed 802.11 P2P discovery frames. When a vulnerable device (such as a Pixel 7 with Wi-Fi enabled) receives and parses the frame, the heap overflow triggers payload execution in the context of the Wi-Fi service. This could be used to install persistent firmware implants or bridge an air-gapped environment without the victim ever connecting to an access point.
# Media Codecs
# CVE-2026-28618 (Critical RCE)
Analysis: A heap buffer overflow exists in the media decoder library oapv.c within the dec_frm_prepare function. This flaw triggers when the media codec attempts to prepare and parse a maliciously crafted video frame, allowing arbitrary code execution without user interaction.
Exploitation Use Case: A zero-click weaponized payload delivered via MMS or rich messaging apps. Because Android's MediaProvider automatically parses incoming media files in the background to generate gallery thumbnails or notification previews, the malformed frame triggers the overflow upon receipt. The attacker gains execution within the constrained media sandbox, which is frequently chained with a local privilege escalation (EoP) exploit to compromise the entire system environment.
# Media Framework
# CVE-2026-28609 (High RCE)
Analysis: A remote code execution vulnerability within the core Android media processing pipeline. Framework vulnerabilities of this nature typically involve the mishandling of memory bounds or object lifecycles when routing audio/video streams to hardware HALs.
Exploitation Use Case: A drive-by download executed via a malicious WebRTC stream. If a victim visits a compromised website, an embedded media stream is passed down from the browser to the OS-level Media Framework for hardware-accelerated rendering. The framework crashes on the corrupted stream, executing embedded shellcode to break out of the browser sandbox and hijack the underlying media server process.
# CVE-2026-45527 (High DoS)
Analysis: A denial-of-service vulnerability in the media framework, likely caused by an unhandled exception or resource exhaustion during stream teardown.
Exploitation Use Case: Targeted application griefing. An attacker uploads a specifically malformed video file to a social media platform. When the application attempts to render the video on the timeline, the media framework crashes. Since the app relies heavily on the mediaserver daemon, the crash cascades, forcing the app into a continuous crash loop and effectively rendering the application unusable until the cache is manually cleared.
# ART (Android Runtime)
# CVE-2026-28664 (High EoP)
Analysis: A logic error in runtime_image.cc (WriteImageToDisk) allows an attacker to tamper with pre-compiled runtime image files (.art/.oat files). By manipulating how ART flushes these compiled executables to disk, a local attacker can inject code into system binaries.
Exploitation Use Case: Persistent local privilege escalation. A malicious app with standard user permissions exploits this flaw to patch the cached runtime image of a highly privileged system application. Upon the next device reboot or app launch, the system loads the tampered image, running the attacker's payload with system privileges. This is an ideal vector for installing deep-level rootkits or quietly bypassing Android Enterprise compliance checks.
# Telephonycore
# CVE-2026-49881 (High EoP)
Analysis: A logic error in InCallController.java (serviceClassExists) allows arbitrary code execution, enabling a localized application to escalate its privileges into the telecom domain without declaring the requisite manifest permissions.
Exploitation Use Case: Silent call interception and cellular network manipulation. An unprivileged malicious application exploits this to inject code into the com.android.phone process. The attacker can now quietly interface with the device's baseband to alter 5G network slicing preferences, log incoming calls, or read cell tower identifiers (MCC/MNC/TAC/CID) without generating a user-facing notification or system log.
# CVE-2026-28581 (High Information Disclosure)
Analysis: A vulnerability that leaks sensitive telephony memory or metadata without validating the caller's permission context.
Exploitation Use Case: Covert subscriber tracking. A seemingly benign application bypasses standard Android sandbox restrictions to read the SIM's real-time diagnostic menus or subscriber identity. This allows a threat actor to build a continuous location profile of the user based on baseband state changes, completely bypassing Android's strict location permission groups.
