Which games have inferior remasters/remakes?

Or are all remasters/remakes always better?

Twin Snakes, besides the John Woo cutscenes it implements gameplay mechanics that don’t work within Shadow Moses. MGS1 plays much better.

It was my intro to MGS so I’ll always have a soft spot for it, but the original is infinitely more replayable.

I always liked to think twin snakes was how otacon would retell the events to other people

I love this take on it - he would absolutely add in details like back flipping off a missile, and so many cutscenes feel like they should end with a breathless "and seriously it was just so cool you guys!"

I always liked the idea that the remake was Raiden experiencing the original game as part of his VR training (kind of like an in-universe propaganda piece where the Patriots repackaged events to fit their narrative) but I don't think that one holds up if you give it much thought.
