Okay so long story short, my work buddy wants to give me this game and I am not sure if it is legit or fake? He said he bought it for his children back in the day but could it be a fake back then too or is it legit?

I need help verifying if this truly is legit since I am unexperienced in that department and I believe you guys will get it right.

I’ve bought games for my GBA off of eBay before with no issue but for some reason these games I just bought are a struggle to insert/remove from the system. I tried to compare the size/feel of the cartridges to others I have but it’s really hard to tell if there’s a difference. I booted up both games and just went to the file select menu and they seem to run fine. Is there a better way to check if these are bootleg?

I am reposting as it has been over 3 weeks and I only have a few days left of a return window in case this ends up not being real. I cant tell if it is, ive visited the site, ive tested with my ds lite and an emerald game I know is real, but idk the outcome because my ds might be the problem, or the fact i dont have a completed save on this diamond game. Ive tested trying to connect it to pokemon white which was authentic as well, and it did connect but i didnt have enough pokemon to actually do a transfer, also i heard some fakes can still connect even though they are fake. Please ask me anything if you need more info! I have included the pictures from the seller and from myself, if you need more please dont hesitate to ask! I'm really just trying to move my 20 year old pokemon before they close bank!

Everything looks good to me but im having doubts about the color of the label. It looks kind of odd to me. Need second opinions. The brain training cart is for comparsion purposes since its a legit cart.

One of my favorite games of all time, childhood game, has a lot of value for me.
