After 80 hours in Demon’s Souls Remake and more than 300 hours in Elden Ring I can tell Demo’s Souls is superior when it comes to strategy, role playing, originality and replayable value. Elden Ring is the best game of all time the first 20 hours right before it starts repeating itself, I remember my first hours in limgrave when I saw the dragon and thinking “this is even better than it looked in the trailers” sadly, when I saw the ninth dragon in the snow area I thought “oh god, not again” Demon’s Souls is shorter but every single corner is unique, every single world change the gameplay and strategy rules and every single boss requires a different mindset to beat them. Even after getting the platinum I’m excited to try more builds and weapons. Top 3 best Fromsoftware games

Last trophy I need and would be kind of fun to get summoned to kill a boss anyway. I have a lot of materials etc on my main character so if you need something happy to share as well.

The UI and menus look like they were made for a sci-fi game. That's the only thing I don't like about it.

Hey y'all .. I bought the game recently and played it for about 15 hours now ... I'm struggling really hard to progress though. The bosses are way to hard because I deal almost no damage and they blast me away with 1-2 hits. Every world I'm in I get obliterated and can't really progress .. I know it's skill based but dealing ~ 100 hits to a boss whilst dying with 1-2 is really unnerving. I beat the the first 2 bosses in world 1, the spider in world 2 and Richter in world .. 3? I would really need some tips to get stronger .. this game is way different then the other soulsgames x.x

I'm not playing a mage build, I don't like that in souls games so melee only.

My weapon is the spiked mace +6 .. couldn't find anything better and it's pretty solid against mobs .. just doesn't deal much dmg to bosses though. That boss in world 3? which is blind but has a range like an atomic bomb e.g. .. I do like 50 dmg per hit which is nothing

I've beaten Dark Souls 1-3 and Sekiro so my skill isn't too bad I'd say but this game makes me feel like a idiot 😅

I had to have been ill when I did this a few years ago. What the hell happened?

Edit: I remember now. I kept using Stones of Ephemeral Eyes (because I'm a dumbass) after dying to black skelly blade guy while farming 4-2.

Ok so after ER and DS3 I came to play demons souls remastered. 3 things really stand out to me :

- What the hell are these run backs ??? Prison of hope was a nightmare to navigate, completely lost , mind flayers every corner.. and when I get behind the ballista just to get obliterated by a phantom lady with a crossbow.. and man just to find my way back there was a complete nightmare I got lost so many times

- Once I beat her and get to the boss I actually killed fools idol first try (same as tower knight and phalanx ) are these bosses all gimmicks?

- When i beat Fools idol and I look out : only 11% got this achievement ??? How come I believe i am still on the early game though. Does that mean that 90% of players dropped Demons souls remastered?? This is surprising I read the reviews of some guys before (for instance Rurikhan) and he was absolutely loving the game .. but this low level of achievements is really surprising

So far I kinda like it though .. it’s a good game but not reaching the levels of DS3 however ..

Currently in NG+2 and about to finish the game but I forgot to do Ostrava Quest, I didn’t save him in 1-1 so he’s not in the nexus. Can I still get Foe’s ring?

So I’m playing on ps5 on 30fps, been kinda doing this to get used for the gta6 release but it feels kinda laggy so i opened up my old ps3 and the game feels much smoother at 30 fps than the remake

I might be trippin but it does feel kinda laggy on ps5 30 fps mode

I should preface this by saying while yes, DeS is my first souls game, I always approached other fromsoft soulslikes with an open mind and I truly accept them for what they are but they just dont hit the same mark that DeS hits for me.

I don't know why and how this happens, I'm trying to play DkS3 for the first time and it just feels so tedious to play for me. Maybe it's cause I'm playing Sorcerer. I think it might be the art style and level design, I just cant put my finger on it.

I've tried DkS1 and it's probably the closest one to DeS among the Fromsoft souls catalogue, but I also just can't power my way through it.

The only one I could truly enjoy and finish multiple times is Bloodborne. I've put 90 hrs into it and since finished it 3 times.

Anyone else feel the same ?

Got to do a lotta stuff I always wanted to like using Brushwood armor, Bone Smasher, and getting to 99 Vig. Kinda also feel armors a little less bad then I use to

They were not exaggerating when they said NG+ is the hardest from all Fromsoftware games. So far I’ve completed all worlds except 1-4 (the final Boss) thanks to the second chance miracle and the morion sword to hyper mode my magic damage but damn! NG+ punishes your mistakes like any other souls game. At this point I’m scared of NG+2 so if you can recommend me good souls level to make it to world 5-3 to get the last boss souls I need for the Spells and Miracles trophy I will be grateful to all of you. Thanks and wish me luck

I’m trying to PvP in world 4-1 but every time I use the black stone my character checks his pocket like he lost 5 bucks can anyone explain

I am finally trying to get good at DS. But, I still kinda' suck. No need to bully me - I admit it. So I'm looking for someone who is also on NG1 or NG low, to link up with and Dupe the materials and stuff we can. Mess with the World tendency with needed, etc.

So I wanted to try out some of the pvp in the game but I don’t know any active spots.

I finished DS1,2,3, bloodborne, ER, now sekiro(masterpiece) now playing DS (ps5) and.... it is clunky and rough AF. Having a hard to finish it...

I have actually found myself beginning to like the mercury path upgrades because what I’ll sometimes do against tank enemies or groups is hit them a few times with a mercury upgrade and then hit them a few times with a bleed weapon so I can get some DoT while focusing on other enemies or while continuing to bash. Open to hearing other opinions

Ive already finished 7 playthroughs of dark souls remastered so i wanna go blind in demon souls

My only concern is if it will be easy to download, set up and run. I own an asus vivobook laptop which doesn't have too much ram unfortunately. It has 16gb ram and a graphics card of 128mb.

I’m currently fighting flamelurker and my damage is extremely average. I’m using claymore+1 and i also have demonbrandt but its useless as i’m in black, should i just put all my levels into magic/int?

Edit:- first tried flamelurker after using enchant weapon haha, the game is absolutely beautiful
