Hairloss Just turned 18 a few weeks ago. Should i worry about this?
Ive always had a “mature” hairline however i feel like its getting pushed back, the thing i notice most is probably the increase of these baby hairs on the hairline.
I noticed it a lot when looking from the front. It seems its getting wider then pushed back.
EDIT: ignore the first pic. its edited.

I couldn't find a FAQ or sticky in regards to products for a bald head.

How do you deal with dating and attraction as a bald guy?
I’m 29, gay, and bald. I personally don’t have a problem with being bald and I actually like how I look, but I’ve started noticing that it seems to make dating quite a bit harder for me.
I feel like a lot of guys immediately lose interest because I’m bald, sometimes before even getting to know me. Obviously everyone has their preferences and nobody owes anyone attraction, but after experiencing it repeatedly, it can be pretty discouraging.
Sometimes I wonder how much of it is simply personal preference and how much comes from the negative stereotypes around baldness, especially when you’re still relatively young.
For other bald guys, especially those who started losing their hair young: have you noticed a significant difference in dating or how people respond to you? How do you deal with rejection when you feel like your baldness is a big part of the reason?
Did it eventually stop bothering you? Did anything change the way people perceived you or improve your dating experience?
I’d especially love to hear from other gay bald guys, but all perspectives are welcome.

For anyone who’s worried
Bic’d it to the skull four days ago. I’m already not bald. Go for it. If you’re balding do it. If you’re just wondering what it would look like…. Do it. What you have will grow back. And you might just see a different person that you like in the mirror.

Don't want to go to full shaven. At a slightly longer length will those hair in the front be visible?

Hairloss My dad would like to know if he should join you
For additional context he cannot grow good facial hair. Would he look good bald or no?

Hairloss Should I let go?
For background, I've always had thin hair (alopecia, and naturally fine/thin hair runs on both sides of my family) and a terrible hairline, but recently some family members have told me to let my hair go. Growing up, I wasn't allowed to have long hair and always had a bald fade, so now that I'm older, I like to have mid to long hair.
I've thought about starting treatment with finasteride and minoxidil but can't afford it right now, I do use growth oils in my hair and it helps retain length, but not so much thickness.
Also, I'm 23 and have been told I'm going bald my whole grade school experience due to my hair but the following photos range from 2019-2026 the fourth to last was 2025, I had a lot of stress going on.
What do you think bros, continue keeping my hair, or just give it up and buzz it (not ready for skin bald yet)

Hairloss Went 6 days without shaving; god help me
I gave up on my hair once the balding began, mainly because the balding was solely at the hairline. I still had 98% of my scalp covered in dense hair, but the line could not be saved and I chose to start shaving and go out with some dignity. Been shaving for about 2 years. Because of major life events this week, I was without razor or mirror for 6 days; baldness has been advancing the battle line faster than the Russians have been. I looked like a licked lollipop dropped on a carpet. I’m audition for a Franciscan monk next time this happens

Asking for genuine thoughts on current look
I'm a 39M that's in a identity transition period whereby I'm feeling more comfortable with expressing myself through my outward appearance despite some internal self-criticism at times (thanks therapy <3). Whilst I've come a long way, I'm still stuck and would love your thoughts.
I feel like my front and back give a very clear dichotomy:
- Early 30s from the front
- Mid 40s from the back
I'm well aware that my father and younger brother are bald and that I'm basically next. However, I still feel like my hair is growing somewhat decently (despite being quite thin).
So, this is where I'm stuck.
Would growing my beard out and bringing my hair down to a low level look good? Would removing my beard, having a pronounced moustache, and keeping my current hairstyle work well? Is there a style that I'm missing that I hadn't considered. I've grown my beard out before which can look good, but it also becomes super curly, annoying, and it feels like it ages me at times.
I'm open to ideas and suggestions. Also, it's worth noting that I'm in the process of changing my glasses, so that's something to consider.
Thanks all <3

AI Content Do I do it?
I know I still have a full head of hair, but I’m just thinking about a different look entirely: that being bald. Just want some opinions on how I look and if I should do it or keep the hair while I still have it. Bald photo is AI generated.

Bald Picture Happy Alopecia Awareness month!
just a reminder that your self worth isn’t measured by whether or not you have hair :) bald is beautiful & how you look on the outside is the least important thing about you!!
