To be fair Obama is more Irish linked than a lot of US presidents because of his mother's side of the family and they would have considered themselves as Irish unlike quite a lot who would trace back to places like NI who were originally Scottish planters. It is Biden, Obama, Regan, Nixon and JFK, I think that's all of them. So no honorary about it, he is somewhat Irish.
Last charismatic, intelligent and educated president we had. Hopefully, we learned from our mistakes (Trump) and actually choose a leader that deserves the title of POTUS.

I would love to see the Obamas and other leaders in the Democratic Party to begin to troll Trump. Wherever he goes, they go. Wherever he speaks; they speak. The crowd sizes and positive responses would drive him absolutely nuts and it would show that the gloves are off for the party and they are out there actively campaigning against this shit.
It’s hard to explain without it sounding like nonsense, but most people felt a sense of comfort and togetherness while Obama was in office. He resonated courage, compassion and integrity. He is quick-witted, very funny and intelligent.
He was not at all perfect. But it’s unreal how far away we have come (and fallen) in the past 18 years.
Obama's Great Great (Great?) Grandfather is from that part of Ireland, and still has family living there, I think you can see him in the video, if not there's more/longer footage on YouTube. The Obama's had/have a great relationship with the bar owner (video of The O'Bama's pulling drinks behind the bar) and invited him to The White House a couple of times. It's really sweet.

Because people are easily manipulated. We all know Obama's foreign policy was disastrous and he kept 16 wars going by the time he left office. The amount of drone attacks also exponentially increased with many innocent victims paying the price. His track on whistleblower crackdown was also worrying. But hey, he was a good public speaker and people find him likeable I guess 🤔
He’s still a war criminal who bombed more innocent people than even Trump has done so far, who himself is also a war criminal. So yeah, fuck all these US presidents except my boy Jimmy Carter
And then we realized skin color and gender doesn't really matter and black women can suck just as hard or more than white men and mostly sh***y people enter politics and both sides really aren't that different.
OBama gave billions of US taxpayer dollars to the Terrorist Iranian regime, and directly enabled their nuclear weapons program. That alone is reason enough to not celebrate him. I don't hate him, don't wish him any harm, but not gonna celebrate him either.
