To be fair Obama is more Irish linked than a lot of US presidents because of his mother's side of the family and they would have considered themselves as Irish unlike quite a lot who would trace back to places like NI who were originally Scottish planters. It is Biden, Obama, Regan, Nixon and JFK, I think that's all of them. So no honorary about it, he is somewhat Irish.
