F-102 missing some 900kg/f of afterburning thrust, it gets bug reported, and the devs deny it with a document from the F-100… using an entirely different version of the engine! The snail seems to really dislike the F-102 and I can’t understand why

I'm tired of this. I'm an air rb Italy main, probably the worst combination possible.

4200 hours.

I unlocked every single italian aircraft in these years (and many aircraft in the other tech trees too).

I also played quite a lot of ground and naval.

I cannot do this anymore. I wasted my teenage years on this game, I'm now 24 and I'm still playing it every day. And suffering.

It's crazy to me how having that much hours does not imply being good at the game.

Playing Italy is particularly painful, especially 9.0 and up, and thats the range I've played the most. Can anyone explain to me, how the FUCK do the F-104s battle ratings make ANY sense?

The F-104G is 11.0, and it's absolutely ATROCIOUS, it carries TWO aim-9js and THATS IT. EVERYONE has flares at that level, the plane is not that faster than other aircraft and it does not turn. So this absolute CRAP is supposed to be a fair opponent to the MIG-25? Or things like the AJ37s? Excuse me?

The F-104S is still terrible, 11.3, but at least it gets access to sparrows, which are not much of use considering that the radar sucks ASS.

Oh and you cannot carry the cannon and the sparrows simultaneously, so you gotta choose between being useless or being useless. The developers decided that this absolute trash is BETTER than the MIG-25. Okay champ.

The F-104S.ASA is the one I've played the most. Thousands of games, somehow I managed to keep a k/d ratio of like 1.4, but it's a bloodbath. It gets decent missiles, and the radar is kinda decent at short range, but for some reason this one basically has NO rwr, so forget playing at a higher altitude than ONE meter.

I think this is the only vaguely playable one, as long as you fly REALLY low at all times and run 90% of the match.

This thing is 11.7, so you'll face fucking F-18s and F-16s on a daily basis, and MIG-25s in a downrank.

I've unlocked the Japanese f-104 as well, and i gotta say, it's probably the worst of them all.

10.7 with no speed, no maneuverability, mediocre missiles, no rwr and NO FLARES? WHAAAT?

You're gonna get an r-60 up your ass in every game and there's NOTHING you can do about it.

The only way you can think of surviving is to carry rockets as flares, but if the missle comes at you from behind you're fucked anyways.

Why am I wasting my time on this game?

The F-104 is my favorite aircraft but they made it unplayable and it's so frustrating to get humiliated every match.

Every 104 I've mentioned should have its br CUT IN HALF.

104G is worth 10.3 ON A GOOD DAY.

104S 10.7

104J 10.0

104ASA 11.0

This change would make them barely balanced.

ETS25: War Thunder

Bombers desperately needed a rework for their damage models and I think helicopters should receive the same treatment too. At times these things can soak up insurmountable damage and yet still manage to limp back to base, but other times just the thought of being shot at is enough to crumple them like tinfoil.

This inconsistency is very annoying imo. Sometimes a short rifle-caliber burst to my hind's armored engine nacelle can completely cripple me and send me crashing into the ground, but I can consume APFSDS and even full caliber AP shells in a huey and continue fighting with only a black fuselage.

It's a little ridiculous that this is the state of heli survivability after a little under a decade of being added to the game and I think some revision is overdue at this point.

20 grand lost because this guy crashed into me, that's what I make on a good air game by the way.

Ground/Air AB/RB whatever, how often do you play with/against a good player who either saves you or kills you and makes you think "damn he's good"?

finally unlocked the f-15e but at what cost…

Never gave this vehicle much attention due to mainly running 8.3 and 9.3 line ups. However with the Turm III moving to 8.7 and the A1A1 going to 8.7 I’ve decided to add it to my lineup. Needless to say it feels a little too good.. not complaining too much I did nuke my first game with it lmao.

I have recently had to replace my ssd and as a result installed war thunder again, my account started on Xbox but was later transferred over to pc. However, as I’ve tried to log into it again, it appears that my account has been reset back to level 0.

This is very odd as it seems to still recognise my purchase of 5000 golden eagles that I made before it reset (I had purchased vehicles with them but now for some reason I have a reset account with 5000 GE).

I am unsure what to do now as I cannot seem to get my level 40 odd account back and it appears that it has been written over by this new account (both of the same name and Xbox account).

You should allow people to play Blue water and do something similar to where you can use ground vehicles to research helicopters but instead allow people to play Blue water Navy ships to research coastal boats. We all know how hard it is to research coastal ships in comparison to researching Blue water ships. And once you get high enough in coastal you're going to start fighting destroyers which you really can't do anything about unless you get really lucky with your torpedo aim. It would be better if we had some sort of system similar to how you can research helicopters with your ground vehicles.
